Snapped a string; replaced

I ordered internationally. I have never had an easier transaction in all my life. I had my guitar within five days. Packed brilliantly at an amazing price. Highly amazing company.

The guitar is simply awesome!
A great addition to my other Heritage Custom core H150 with Humbuckers.
I had to have a P90 guitar to get that extra sparkle when needed.
I was however a little confused because I had not received any shipment confirmation and tracking number.
But it arrived well and plays like a charm.

Items not in stock that were showing as in stock on line, this was only advised approx 3 working days later, post the order being placed. A kind man offered an item nothing like what I ordered as a replacement ! Either they are flat out with online deliveries or they are just really slow.

so an update, they sent me this in reply to the above. Making me out to be a fool for not knowing their procedures and that online only means they dont stock them. Asking me to amend my rating. The cheek is unreal! However, this is in stark contrast to the information offered when telling me there was no stock which i have also kindly included for all to see.

reply to above: Dear Jon, Thank you for your review. however the item you ordered was an ONLINE ONLY item...these items are never in stock in our store, but sent directly by the distributor. this is why they are listed as ONLINE ONLY. So although we are sorry for the delay. The fault really lies with the distributor. I would appreciate if you could alter the number of stars you gave us. That would be kind and fitting.

no mention of supplier, "voorraadfout in ons systeem" was the reason. But its someone elses fault of course:

Max Guitar has an awesome selection of unique guitars. Order process is easy and
the shipment of the parcel was fast and secured.
Even if there would have been the slightest inconvenience the team would always make sure to satisfy their customers.
The return process via “returnless” is also fairly easy.
The performance, service and communication with the team of Max Guitar is always superb, and very nice and I highly recommend them.

Customer service is responsive and helpful - I could add an item to my order to be shipped together. The straps they carry are of good quality and interesting patterns.

I recently bought a Gibson US-1 at the Max Guitar store Den Haag and after a view emails they reserved it for me even though I came to pick it up a view weeks later. about a month later I bought the Two notes Reload 2, but made a mistake at the check out. After a short phone-cal everything was solved and I receive the Reload just the day after. Their shop employees are very friendly and helpful! I wil visit them online or at the physical shop if I need something more for my set-up.

Fast shipping and well packaged product. Product also matches the online presentation. Very good!

In August, I decided to swap my Martin D-35 for another D-35, this time from the Custom Shop.

Great company! Great service! Can't say more about them. Just a trustfull company with great instruments... specially guitars....

Max Guitar offers a wide range of mid-range and high-end instruments (new and used), plus excellent service and many convenient payment options. Personally, I got my bass set up for free and received a personalised delivery directly from the shop, which was amazing! It wasn't the first instrument I bought there, nor will it be the last.

Dealt with Wouter recently on an overseas trade-in and purchase - excellent follow up from Wouter on everything - kept in constant contact until all transactions were completed - great range of instruments - would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to buy or trade-in.

I went in yesterday for Mark Knopfler pick-ups installment and some help to get closer. Wouter took quit some time to run me through it and explained everything very clearly. Much thanks to him and Max for the effort and support in helping me futher. I fully endorse this store for every player

Got a HILS HN6 in Ultra Gold color off of them. Mine took a week to arrive(they usually arrive in 1 day in NL) but that's for a very good reason.

They normally check and setup the guitar before shipping to make sure everything is in working order. Mine happened to have a faulty coil split on one of the potentiometers. They were able to immediately find, diagnose and fix the issue before shipping it out.

For a very desired guitar that's sold out everywhere(mine was the last unit on Max Guitars), I'd say a week is more than acceptable if it has a critical issue that needs fixing.

They replaced the internals, shipped it and when the guitar arrived to me the day after it was in perfect condition, ready to play straight out of the box.

The neck relief, action, tune, the whole set-up was done by them and I could even tell they went as far as to oil the neck as it was still a bit "sweaty" looking. They might've even polished the frets as they were much shinier than what I've seen on my other Indonesian made guitars with Stainless Steel frets that I obtained through other vendors, not 100% sure about this though.

I then checked the painted backplate screws for wear, there was almost nothing wrong about them. You can tell the paint on some screws is ever so slightly "dented" from a screwdriver(which is completely normal) but no chips out of the paint that'd expose the metal underneath, that's an indicator of using the right tools and/or painters tape on the screwdriver tip to prevent scratches. Either way, they took great care to keep it pristine, even the screws.

Perfect customer service, top luthiers, you literally couldn't ask for more. I will definitely be ordering here again in the future.
