9 WEEKS - NO DELIVERY, no communication

I placed an order for a mattress topper at the end of January. By the end of March, NEARLY 9 WEEKS LATER, the item had still not been dispatched. The delivery date shown during the ordering process influenced my decision to purchase, which makes this situation even worse.

What is particularly unacceptable is that after the initially indicated delivery date passed, no one contacted me. At no point did customer service reach out proactively; I had to chase them myself every single time for updates. Each time I was given vague responses and new promises that the item would be shipped “soon”, which never happened.

Even more concerning, the product is still shown as available to order on the website, despite clearly not being in stock. This is misleading and wastes customers’ time. The company could have simply informed me that the item was unavailable and cancelled the order right away. Instead, I lost almost 2 MONTHS waiting and dealing with this situation.

After repeated delays, lack of communication, and misleading information, I could no longer wait and cancelled the order myself. I would not buy from this company NEVER again.
If you value your time and peace of mind, I strongly advise ordering elsewhere.

AVOID!!!!

I wish I read the reviews before buying from this company! 😭Unfortunately I have to give at least 1 star, if I could I would not even do that! Ordered the mattresses and they are the wrong size - by the way deliver to the UK took 6 working days!
Contacted the company who advised that we would have to send it back on our own money within 14 days! There is no shipping company that takes mattresses this size from UK to Germany unless I pay 3 times of the price of the mattress. So now I am out of pocket by almost £200 and no way to return! The customer service is AWFUL TRULY AWFUL! The best part is - now 1 MONTH DOWN THE LINE GLS sent us a letter demanding £52 custom fees! When we bought the mattresses there was no mentioning of this (nowhere obvious)! Neither before delivery or at delivery when I could have refused this, but a month later! When I contacted the company, they just said - "The shipping conditions are accessible with exactly two clicks and are in no way hidden. On the bottom it is noted, that there are possible custom fees in UK, Norway and Switzerland.
As the UK is not part of the EU, custom fees should be common when ordering in Germany (for example).
Why exactly you received the invoice from GLS that late, we cannot say." - basically called me stupid after being ignorant and unhelpful! I checked, it was indeed mentioned in the small print on page 43... thanks!
All I can say AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! By the way the mattress is awful!

What do you mean the mattresses are the wrong size? Did you order the wrong size or did we deliver the wrong size? That is an important distinction. If we sent the wrong one, meaning it was our mistake, the return should have actually been free. If you ordered incorrectly, then unfortunately, the return costs must be borne by you. You can see from the prices why.

Custom fees unfortunately apply when importing items from the EU to GB. We wish you hadn't left the EU, it just makes life harder for all of us :(

It is stated in the fifth of five sentences and is underlined.

It also states that delivery to GB takes 3-4 working days. Admittedly, it took 2 days longer for you, sorry for that, there must have been some delay along the way.

es tut uns leid zu hören, dass du unzufrieden bist. Wir können gut nachvollziehen, wie frustrierend diese Situation für dich ist.

Was heißt die Matratzen sind die falsche Größe? Hast du die falsche Größe bestellt oder haben wir die falsche Größe geliefert? Das ist ein wichtiger Unterschied. Wenn wir die falsche gesendet haben, es also unser Fehler ist, hätte die Rücksendung eigentlich kostenlos sein müssen. Wenn du selbst falsch bestellt hast, dann ist es leider in der Tat so, dass die Rücksendekosten selbst getragen werden müssen. Du siehst ja anhand der Preise, warum.

Zollgebühren fallen leider an, wenn man Sachen von der EU nach GB importiert. Wir wünschten, ihr wärt nicht aus der EU ausgetreten, das macht uns allen nur das Leben schwerer :(

Die Versandbedingungen sind übrigens tatsächlich exakt 2 Klicks entfernt und sind keine 43 Seiten lang. Hier: https://matratzen.discount/en-gb/epc/s/shop/en/service/shipping-conditions
Es steht im fünften von fünf Sätzen und ist unterstrichen.

Da steht übrigens auch, dass die Lieferung nach GB 3-4 Werktage dauert. Zugegeben, bei dir hat es 2 Tage länger gedauert, sorry dafür, da gab es unterwegs wohl irgendeine Verspätung.

I am very disappointed with my…

I am very disappointed with my experience.

I placed an order and tried to use a discount code, but it did not work during checkout. When I contacted customer service afterward, they refused to apply the discount to my existing order and instead only offered a voucher for a future purchase, which does not really solve the issue.

On top of that, I still have not received my topper mattress, even though quite a long time (14/4) has passed since I placed the order. At this point, I am left with the feeling that customer service is not interested in finding a fair solution, only in avoiding responsibility.

Very frustrating experience. I expected much better service, clearer communication, and faster delivery.

I hope the company will finally respond properly and resolve this.

Communication was terrible

Product was very good. BUT the customer care was terrible. The lady sounded disrespectful in email communication. And NO, they don't deliver on the time they mentioned on the website. It's called "lie".

Never anything again from this company

We ordered a mattress from here because of the 2 day shipping on the 20th of march, we did not receive it as of yet(it is the 20th of April) Contacted them they answered some bs once than never again. As I see it happened before to others, definitely not recommended!

The worst company to ever buy from

The worst company to ever buy from. I placed my order on the 30th of March and only received my order on the 15th of April.

I asked to cancel my order and they said that I cant at the moment but I can refuse delivery.

When GLS finally delivered the mattress my wife refused to accept the package and the delivery man went crazy at her, even though she gave birth couple of months ago. Now they making me pay to return the mattress even though they were late 2 weeks. Never buying again from.

No product and no communication

I ordered a mattress from Matratzen Discount almost two months ago, and I have still not received anything – not even an order confirmation.

The payment was taken from my account immediately, but there has been no communication since. I have contacted them twice by email and have not received any response.

This is very frustrating and unprofessional. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Dishonest return policy

Basically i lost my money becouse they hide in pourpose which products are available for refund

They claim you have 30 nights sleep over products for refund except for higyenic labeled exceptions ones which they dont specify on the products they sell. Once the package arrives if you dont realize about the label in the corner and you open the package you lost every possible refund. Shipping cost also has to be paid by you so even if you saw the label and dont want to open it you will have to pay to send it for a refund becouse they didnt said you dont have a refund in this product webpage if you open it.
