LPM leased me a property for winter and they have been amazing!

I can’t actually believe this happened. After this company was recommended on Facebook to manage my airbnb I reached out to them and it started out well, they send Marco to view my apartment and we signed a contract. This was before summer for a start after the summer. I hence released my current manager and we agreed for the last week in august for a key handover. When I then reached out before Marco told me he was no longer working there but he passed on my contact to a colleague Sandro. We had a call where we agree on the key handover, all fine. but then when I reached out again to confirm the final time I literally was ghosted by Sandro and also by Jorge, the company’s owner! I had réservations coming and already released the former manager only for them to not show up, not react at all and I had come back to Malaga just for the key handover. They just violated the contract and I feel I got scammed. I never seen this level of unprofessional. Dear god!

I have had nothing but positive home stays in the past, but guests deserve to know the truth about this host. I stayed at this property in Benahavís, Spain, and was completely misled by the listing and the “Superhost” status.

What the host didn’t disclose:
• Cockroaches in the unit (including in the bedroom and kitchen) with multiple traps throughout (5 alone in the living room)
• power outages that left us without electricity for hours with no timeline on fix - we lost and entire fridge full of food did to spoilage
• A general lack of response or care when these issues were raised

The photos and glowing reviews do not reflect the actual condition of the unit. I left early because the situation became unbearable.

After I left an honest review, my Airbnb account was hacked and the review was replaced with a fake 5-star rating. The written review I left was altered too. Then the hacker cancelled my account. All within 6 min. It’s hard not to question how that happened so quickly after my stay and what hacker would care so much to go seeking out a pending review and to change it.

This experience made me question Airbnb’s review integrity and the trustworthiness of the “Superhost” label.

Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

Big shoutout to Malaga Host and especially Marco! He handles everything for my rental—bookings, cleaning, the works. My place is always booked, and I’m making way more money now.
