Provided the cars registration number and waited for delivery, 2 weeks later I chase them up to be told they could not find the paint code for that car anywhere, it took me 10 seconds to search Google and find the answer. I provided this to them and they said they’d fulfill the order immediately, fast forward another week nothing so I requested a refund, they said they’d refund, 3 weeks on no refund. Utter rubbish service from the get go.

Ordered 2 spray cans and 2 lacquer cans from Mad 30 July 2025.
Firstly the lacquer did not arrive, I had to email Mad whi did send the lacquer out, but extended my repair by a further 3 days.
As the paint states colour matched to the cars registration I expected a good result. Unfortunately this is certainly not the case here. My wife's car is metallic black, when I first sprayed the bumper with the paint it looked very matt, but I assumed maybe the lacquer would improve or was needed.
After the bumper was finished it was still a matt colour. Several e mails have been sent to Mad, who original stated after the lacquer was applied the paint would be correct, I replied informing them the lacquer had been applied. Next they asked ME if I thought the issue was the paint match or the lacquer, I sent them a mail stating they are the experts and state they supply colour match paint.
Mad have over 40 days to correct, bit they seem not to care, bother.
Then the offered to send the correct paint, still waiting for this to arrive, date now 09 September, so over 45 days and still not correct.
DONT WASTE YOU MONEY WITH THEM..

I ordered paint. They said the registration didn't come through. I emailed them the registration, replying to there email. Phoned a few days later when I realised nothing had been dispatched. Apparently they did not receive email but they will dispatch the day I called. Four days later I still have not received the paint. No tracking information on royal mail tracker. (Edit) Absolutely shocking company. Basically lie to you. They keep saying they haven't seen my email, when all I have done is reply to the email they have sent me. Requested refund. I will keep you in touch as I'm not convinced that they will give me my money back. They said they would process refund. I raised a dispute with bank anyway. Money is back in my account. Not sure if refunded or if bank has credited me.

Bought a second hand car with slight paint damage on edge drivers door - the paint pen from ‘madpaints’ was good match and covered damaged area perfectly.

Ordered over two weeks ago,had a phone call regarding inputed reg no ,caller said all was resolved and delivery would be a couple of days.
Still no delivery.

I ordered. They assured completion. The process failed. I received a refund. They lost interest. Outcome useless. Obviously I will not use this company again.

I was really impressed with this touch-up paint! The applicator made it incredibly easy to cover small chips and scratches without any mess. The paint matched perfectly and dried quickly. It was simple, effective, and saved me a trip to the body shop. Highly recommend for quick fixes!

Joke- ordered a silver paint received a blue one following which I asked for a replacement which was never received. To get a refund I’m asked to send it back at my own expense. Would certainly not trust again.

The colour match was perfect.
I initially went to the Halfords site, typed in my reg and it came up with BLACK. My car is not black. The same deal with the MAD folks and the perfect match was found.

Our car is very standout yellow so was nervous the colours wouldn't match but they do , wouldn't of noticed there was a scratch before . Received very quickly too . Will use again in the future and highly recommend

It’s been more than week and no reply to email and no paint delivery . Terrible customer service!

Terrible company.
Will take your money then decide they can’t mix your paint and refuse to give a refund.
Avoid like the plague unless you want to be messed around for months on end.

Ordered a spray paint and lacquer and it never came. After I asked them that I still waiting for them to come they stoped communication. Will not buy anything from them again and I do not recommend this company to anyone. No product no refund no communication, absolutely rubbish!!!

Further to my previous review when my paint hadn't arrived after six weeks, today I received the paint. I feel that deserves better than one star. It seems they use Royal Mail to deliver, which is a poor strategy if they want to build their reputation. The paint kit looks good and the colour seems right, so I thank them for that. I hope they can sort out their internal systems. I wish them well for the future.

Really good paint match on my eight year old car,well priced and dispatched quickly,I would definitely use Mad Paints again,Ps.Primer and lacquer recommend.
