Luxplus may charge you without your knowledge and permission

I earlier ordered some products from the webpage which was OK.

However, later on I got a message from my bank that Luxplus tried to charge me a membership fee that I've not asked for.. It tried to withdrawn money without my permission and knowledge.

I signed in their webpage and there is no way to delete my account, my credit card information etc. I sent an email to the customer service and let's see how they handle it..

But, I am really unhappy with how they unhonestly try to charge something that I didn't want. Especially I didn't want to store my credit card information which looks like they store it without my permission and knowledge which is probably illegal.

EDIT: What you do is a legal robbery. You would just harm your business by injecting a "free one month membership" on the checkout that I didn't even notice there was such thing.

I paid your forced membership fee and there is no way to delete the account. Please delete my account, my credit card information and other personal information as GDPR dictates you to do so. Your interface is designed in a way that it's not possible to delete the payment information.

I don't think it's a wise way to run business, try to earn money by providing services, not by injecting things that obviously I didn't wish to do so. If you made it more noticeable, instead of spending time to fill up this entry, I'd spend 1/10 of the time to cancel it.

It is stated in several places on Luxplus.se that the membership prices are only for members and that one becomes a member when purchasing products for membership prices. It is stated for example on the starting page, next to every product, under the section “subscription” and “terms”. As a customer you actively have to choose whether you want to buy a product for membership price or normal price. Under the membership price we inform that you start a membership when you purchase a product for a membership price. A membership is also added to your shopping cart when you purchase products for membership prices for the first time. Furthermore, you have received a confirmation to your email with information about your membership when you placed your first order.

I am sorry if you have not seen this and misunderstood our concept, but we do not issue refunds for membership, as we give ample information about the membership.

I made an order 5 weeks ago they…

I made an order 5 weeks ago they haven't delivered it after so many attempts by contacting them I finally got the order.
Wish I could upload the pictures I took 2 of the product I purchased was opened and half empty and the cap was broken in one of it and someone put a tape on it to close it
Really bad service. I will try to file a complaint with you guys. Who sends used and broken stuffs for customers.

We purchase and get the products directly delivered from our supplier and therefore the products are not always sealed.
Since used returned products are never mixed with our new products it is not possible you have received a used product.

This means that the product has been damaged during transport and you are welcome to send us your pictures and we will look into this.

Strange policy with return and charged extra

Have been their paying member for over one year. It is acceptable to pay for membership. However, there are certain tricks to charge extra. I couldn't pick up a package, and it got auto-returned. After I informed Klarna, which I paid with, luxplus sent an email saying I should inform them instead and charged me 38 for the return. It has never happened to me with any other online shops. It is not a big charge, even less than the membership fee, but the feeling of being tricked is not good.

When a package has been automatically returned it means that the customer has not picked up in time and therefore we take a fee of 29 kr.

This is stated in our terms. It is a very common thing for comapanies to do and this is done for economic and environmental reasons.

One of the best, most-stocked online stores

I've been a customer at Luxplus since I found them around 2015-16. They are very well-stocked and offer very nice prices on a large number of items. I mostly buy stuff for the home, including candles, deodorizers, air fresheners, etc. But they have all kinds of stuff. Delivery is simple and fast. Keep it up!

whenever i’m in need of a beauty…

whenever i’m in need of a beauty product or self care product, i always purchase them from LuxPlus because it delivers in just 2-3 days and their prices are very reasonable plus affordable. Your package also arrives in very good condition
They always offer discounts and member prices, in addition to the points u collect while buying a product which you can use to make your purchase cheaper.
I really like Luxplus and will continue to buy from it.
