What a wonderful company , iliyas came out and replaced our kitchen sink , he was very lovely and polite will definitely use this company again .

London Emergency Plumbing provided an exceptional service when I needed them most. I was impressed by their rapid response time; they arrived at my home within an hour of my call. The plumbers were professional, knowledgeable, and equipped with all the necessary tools to handle the issue. They quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem, ensuring everything was fixed efficiently and effectively. Their courteous demeanor and expertise turned a stressful situation into a manageable one. I highly recommend London Emergency Plumbing for their outstanding service and prompt attention to urgent plumbing needs.

They booked someone to come out at 9AM on a Sunday with a callout fee of £79 + VAT (~£100) for a rapid emergency.

They only sent the invoice that stated the hourly rate AFTER the engineer had turned up which was stating £255 per hour.

The engineer was unable to fix the issue due to missing parts and when I contacted the company they did NOTHING for me - so in total + their admin fee they charged £468.94 for a 30 minute visit and this work resulted in absolutely nothing.

They said they'd give me a better rate on another day of £180 p/h (still a ridiculously high rate).

This company is a scam that preys on people who are in emergency situations to overcharge them for simple fixes and simple services. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I'd give them zero stars if I could! Having had my experience with them I was sure the only reason these people have so many good reviews must be because they're getting family/friends/staff to review them. In the grand scheme of things 100-odd reviews is not that many and I'd advise you to read all the one star reviews!! I did and one explained how they get Trustpilot to remove the negative reviews by claiming they're untrue. I have all the receipts so they can try me if they like.

We called them to fix an emergency blocked sink and drain issue. They said it was £69 for the call out plus whatever was quoted when the engineers saw the situation. They came and had a look and quoted £395 per hour/part of an hour + VAT. We asked for an estimate of how long it would take and they said about 2 hours. They started the work and then said they had to go and get "materials" and then disappeared for almost 2 hours. They then returned and completed the work. The whole thing - including when they left - took JUST over 3 hours (by their "part of an hour" clause, this took them into 4 hours) and they charged us £1,800.

I had left by this point and my parents in their 70s were there alone with them, and said they got menacing when challenged and said they would not leave without full payment. I explained to my mum that although they were extremely dishonest with the break plus going into the 4th hour, they had adhered to their quote, no matter how shifty they had been with the wording, and we had to pay them, so I transferred the funds over and they left.

Within 24 hours, the sink was blocked again. I called them this morning and they said they'd get the engineer to contact me. Someone called (SAME mobile number as called me on Monday) and said they were the plumber and had been asked by the office to call me. I explained the situation and he said he'd come out "to look at it". I told him we weren't going to pay for this since it was essentially the same job uncompleted, and he laughed and said "are you telling me to come out for free?" I said "I am trying to get you to come out and actually do the job you've already been paid for". He then tried to claim he wasn't the engineer who had come out on Monday even though he had called from the same number. I realised it was a pointless conversation and hung up and called the office back. The person who answered pretended he had no idea what I was on about and said he would call me back. I asked him his name and he hesitated before saying "William" (and I could hear the smirk in his voice). About 10 minutes later someone else called from their office (same number I'd just called) bizarrely shouting at me and saying I was swearing at them. Had absolutely no idea what he was on about and hung up. 3 hours later and I'm still waiting for "William" to call me back and let me know what they plan to do to rectify the situation.

I'm giving them to the end of the day and then reporting to Trading Standards - people shouldn't be allowed to get away with this unethical behaviour

Absolute charlatans - 100% would NOT recommend!

I am newly renting a property in Battersea using Airbnb and we found that the sink was quite blocked, I tried to use acid liquid to resolve the problem but it did not work, causing a major blockage on the drain. I had a guest coming on the day so I had to call an emergency plumber, and this one was the first one it came on Google. “ They had the worst reviews average on Google but I did not notice when I had the emergency”
We reported the problem with many details and they sent someone fairly quickly, a guy came to assist with the problem. I had to help him to find parking as the area was not easy to park, I suggested taking the tools already as we were on the ban and mentioned that they needed to evaluate first the issue and then take the tools. “ Of course, they start charging from the minute they enter the door and sum up more time from the evaluation and then going back to the ban, check some social media for 5 minutes, and after come with the tools”

This is not the first time I had to use an emergency plumber, and they operate very similar, when you have a simple drain blockage, they use a more powerful acid or a special hoover. Something that is very easy to do and quick. When he came back, I asked him how long it will take, and he mentioned about 2 hours. As I knew he was trying to buy time, I stayed with him all the time, to make sure to go and try not to delay the work.

He mentioned having two options to fix the problem, one under the sink or getting access to open the bath wall, the property is a new built, so getting access to breaking the bath tyles, was not ideal, and I had to ask the owner to proceed. We was suggesting the access under the sink was difficult and better to go breaking the bath tyles to access the pipes. At the end, we had to try to break and access with his suggestion but we could not access to it. Result? I had a huge mess and broke new bathroom to later on, he put some effort to access to the pipe under the sink and resolve the problem. So we could fix the problem without breaking unnecessarily the bath and last 5 or 10 minutes to fix the issue.

I believe that after watching my face of worrying with the condition of the bath was, he offered to come to replace the silicone the next day and make it look decent again. At the end, he charged one hour of work but it cost me £540 “just for using the hoover”. I mentioned that I needed to invoice to send it to the landlord, and tomorrow he said that I would have it. He offered his personal number to by-pass the agency, so for next time all the fees could be for him, which I found dishonest to the company providing work for him.
Final result? I had to chase him for 4 days to get the invoice and I never got it. I had to call the provider, and they gave me the invoice the same day.
I had to chase him for 2 weeks to come and fix the mess he made in my bathroom, and in the end, I just let it go as he is not a reliable professional and a man of word.
£540 pounds for 15 minutes of work is just a legal scam with my bathroom destroyed. At least he unblocked the sink.

Had a leaking ceiling at 5am. This company sent out two engineers within 25minutes. They were extremely friendly and easygoing. They explained the process and made the whole thing seem effortless. I can’t recommend these guys anymore! I’ve had bad experiences with tradesmen before but these guys completely changed my perspective. Thank you LEP!

I recently encountered a frustrating experience with London Emergency Plumbing that I feel compelled to address. I contacted their services in dire need of assistance with a plumbing issue in my home. To my dismay, after paying a hefty fee of £350, the problem was not resolved. I was advised to call an electrician, only to discover that the root of the issue was indeed plumbing-related.

Not only was I disappointed by the lack of competence displayed by London Emergency Plumbing, but I was also dissatisfied with their misdiagnosis of the problem. The unnecessary expense and inconvenience I endured are unacceptable.

I urge others to exercise caution when considering this company for their plumbing needs, as my experience left much to be desired. It is imperative that businesses prioritize efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in their operations, and London Emergency Plumbing fell short in every aspect.

In conclusion, I feel compelled to inform others of my disheartening experience in hopes of preventing similar hardships for future customers. It is my hope that London Emergency Plumbing reassesses their practices and takes necessary steps to improve the quality of their services.

Couldn’t be any better, they came within 20 minutes and fixed the issue immediately with the proper equipment! Professional and respectful!

Idris arrived within 30mins and resolved the issue within 30mins. Quick, attentive and efficient. Very much appreciated especially on a Bank Holiday.

Ibrahim got to my place within less than an hour and unblocked my toilet very quickly. He was also very pleasant.

They were charging me £430 for 1 hour of work which was not even completed. I had a toilet blockage in one of my properties and asked them to repair. The initial price they told me was £120. When he got there he said it’s a drainage issue and charged £180, I accepted and then he said it’s £180 per hour which I was not told before. Anyways I told him please complete within the hour.
I asked him when he came into the property to confirm the time as well. Before the hour was up, I called him and he said that it’s gonna take him another 2-3 hours to complete the job. I said please leave it and I’m gonna get someone cheaper because £180 per hour is way too much. He sent me an invoice of £430 and I asked why he said he charged for 2 hours because his work went over by a minute. Even though it was out of his own will that he was still at the property when I told him specifically that I don’t want it going over an hour.
He refused to leave and was arguing and being rude to me saying that he doesn’t care if it hasn’t been 2 hours, even if he’s there for an hour and a minute, I have to pay for 2 hours.

After paying, my partner went in to fix it and in 10 minutes he fixed it. It didn’t take him another 2-3 hours 🙃
So this company took the money, didn’t complete the job and had us do it anyway. Completely waste of time calling them out. Never again.

Efficient and polite. Solved the problem quickly. Arrived within the hour. Good service.

Had a terrible emergency 2 nights ago regarding a leak in my ceiling and was recommended LEP through a friend. Gary was serviced out to me and he came within 30 minutes. He made the problem go away super quick at such a reasonable price. Could not recommend these guys more.

Called them out to unblock some outdoor drains, they cam relatively quickly and cleared a blockage they said. It cost more than £300. But shortly after water was appearing in my garden and built up until it was clear the drains were full again. Contacted them to tell them that they had clearly not solved the problem as the same drains were full and blocked within the space of a couple weeks. I was told that their service was not guaranteed (most other companies it is) and that I would have to pay the full fees again if I wanted them to come back out. I ended up getting Thames water out and although they didn't have to as the pipes were domestic they cleared the blockage and it hasn't returned. Disappointed they don't guarantee their work, if a drain is blocked again within a short time period the issue clearly isn't solved.

Friendly and efficient

I've found LEP to be very easy to deal with, and Ibrahim has been excellent on both occasions he's visited. Quick, efficient, gave good advice and made the price clear from the start. Also, the work was to a good standard, which I certainly can't say for every plumber I've used. Wouldn't hesitate to book Ibrahim and LEP again.
