These reviewers often praised the quick response times, the efficiency of the plumbers, and their ability to resolve issues effectively. They found the engineers to be professional and polite, and some felt the service was worth the cost, especially in emergency situations.

If I could give 0 I would

If I could give 0 I would. Absolute scam of a company. They prey on people who are in a bind and charge exorbitant prices. £400 to fit a £3 cap at the end of a burst pipe! On site for 40 mins. They insist on a bank transfer knowing fully well that it’ll be next to impossible for customers to go through their credit card company to try and claw back the money for the sham work they did.

Shocking scamners no transparency with prices just made a simple repair to our toilet charged me 1180 as a pensioner I argued until they brought the price down to 960 should have just taken them to court they charge 319 per hour plus a massive admin charge nothing is explained to you until they want your money I asked the plummer he said 319 per hour plus costs so two hours work and undisclosed final fee of 1180 .

These guys are rip off merchants

These guys are rip off merchants. The pricing structure is unclear until the plumber is in your house, at which point they say it's £259 per hour.

After being assured a part could be sourced in 15 mins, he came back 90 minutes later, stinking of cigarettes. I was of course charged for this time, £50 for a plastic button and then an additional 20% admin fee.

Avoid at all costs - absolute bandits.

Overcharging charlatans

Called up due to leaking gas pipe near my oven. Was told someone would be with me in 30 to 90 minutes. No information on hourly pricing, just told about the call out charge which was reasonable. 249 quid an hour rates! Took the guy 2 hours to get to me, and a valve replacement set me back 900 quid. Absolute charlatans, unreliable in their timings and are predatory. Do yourself a favor, save hundreds of pounds and don't use these vultures.

Scam

I called this company and they sent out an egineer. I was quoted £49 for the call out on the phone. When they arrived they sent me an email stating that it would be £249 per hour. At this point they were in my home and I had made arrangements for someone to be there. They didn't fix the fault I have to get an electrician out to fix it and it would have ran into thousands. Final bill was £441 for checking the problem.

£1,277 for a 2-hour job

Called for a PRV replacement on a hot water cylinder. Engineer quoted £269/hr and estimated 2 hours. The job took 2 hours and 6 minutes, they charged for 3 full hours. That’s an extra £269 for 6 minutes, thanks to a "per hour or part of an hour" clause buried in their T&Cs.

On top of that, a 15% admin fee (£138.90) was added to the total before VAT. Final bill: £1,277.88 for a job that any reputable plumber would charge £400–500 for.

But here’s the real concern: the invoice charges 20% VAT (£212.98) yet shows no VAT registration number anywhere. The only number on the invoice is their Companies House registration number, which is not a VAT number. If they’re not VAT-registered, collecting VAT from customers is unlawful. I’ve raised this with them directly and will be reporting it to HMRC if they cannot provide a valid VAT number.

I’m not the first to experience this, other reviews on here describe the exact same pattern: vague pricing on the phone, inflated charges on arrival, and questionable VAT practices.

The repair work itself was fine. But the pricing model is designed to extract maximum money from people in urgent situations. Avoid if you can.

Horrific experience - A scam Company

Horrific experience. I spoke to a woman called ‘Jane’ (fake name) who despite being asked for transparency on pricing gave no information about the hourly rate only that the emergency call out fee was £69, which seemed reasonable at first blush. She said pricing would depend on the labour and whether any parts were needed etc but did not clarify that the engineer would do nothing until all charges were agreed. When the engineer turned up, he then told us that the hourly fee (excluding the call out) was £375 Plus another 15% admin fee!! Moreover, he would not even do a diagnostic unless all charges were agreed. The effective call out charge would therefore in fact have been over £500 for even 1 minute’s work. He would then not leave without payment of the misleading call out fee of £69, which we paid to get rid of him for zero service. We did not use this engineer and would NEVER EVER use this company. It is indisputably a scamming company set up to fleece people facing an urgent plumbing or boiler issue.

Do not use this service - predatory and scam

Do not use this service. They operate maliciously to scam people, and their pricing is predatory. The pricing is not made clear over the phone, and when the technician shows up, you must immediately sign a "contract" that says the charge is £279 per hour, but if you don't sign, you must pay £49. Among other things, you have to pay by bank transfer, which can't be refunded or disputed and you must pay before the technician leaves, which is legally unenforceable. My technician conveniently finished after 62 minutes, meaning I had to pay for a whole two hours. When asking for evidence of when he started and when he finished, they pushed back and got confrontational. On top of that, I'm not sure if he actually fixed anything.
