The customer service is not reliable.

Was very excited to get my methylation test results I received my kit sent in the sample and it was lost. Life DNA sent out another kit. The 2nd kit was sent in and the sample was tested and came back with results. Then I decided to order Vitamins from Life Dna After 2 weeks and several emails finally received them. Then my password stopped working after several unanswered emails, I called and had that resolved. The company is their own worst enemy . They do not have the support staff to handle questions and inquiries. Currently I am waiting to hear back on vitamins reordering. 48 hours no response via email. I called and left a voicemail still no response. Guess They don't need or want my business. In the process of complaining about my vitamins on how long it was taking. I was told by an employee on the phone that they were a big company and it would not matter if I cancelled my order. Just like magic the vitamins shipped out that day. So they constantly send out services to be purchased.EDIT Replied via email 1/9 ,1/10,1/11/26 and made several phone calls.I got a recording that states they are open PST 7 am to 5pm Still no Response from Lifedna after their contact on 1/8/2025 email and phone call at 12 midnight.

Push their supplements a bit too much

Originally I gave this company a poor review based on my perception that they seemed to be hawking their own supplements (I’ve gotten a couple of communications about that). The company responded satisfactorily to my negative perceptions and when I read the results of my testing, it is quite well laid out. Although the first actionable suggestion is to get their supplements, they do suggest other supplements not developed/provided by them. So, I believe my initial reaction was incorrect and I have changed my review accordingly.

Firstly, all LifeDNA results are 100% objective and based on peer-reviewed research vetted by our genomics and research team. All the studies that are used to generate the content on our platform are clickable on our platform for full transparency. We want our customers to be able to read them and have confidence that the information they're viewing is based on peer-reviewed science.

Secondly, LifeDNA does not diagnose any condition nor do we provide medical advice via supplementation or any other means. Our customer consultants, often point our customers in the direction of products that may be useful given their unique results, many of which aren't LifeDNA products.

Thirdly, while we do have a supplement plan product for sale, it's an entirely optional product for our customers, and is one that we built specifically because many customers requested one from us.

Finally, we'd like to work with you directly to resolve your concerns about LifeDNA. We've requested information from you via TrustPilot, and look forward to hearing from you soon so this can be resolved to your satisfaction.

Incredibly unresponsive to emails and phone calls.

They are incredibly unresponsive if you have any questions.Be careful what you sign up for because they will just keep sending you things on repeat and keep billing you. They have taken forever on my results and I don’t even know if they ever will get it to me. It’s been seven weeks since they received my results and I still do not have anything back. They also sent me another bottle of pills that I did not order and I disputed the charge. Now they are holding my results hostage on a separate transaction until I undisputed the first transaction of the pills that I never signed up for. When I had the issue, they finally contacted me back and emailed me seven times about the disputed charge of pills. Thes are two separate transactions and now they are doing something that I’m pretty sure is illegal. Do not use them

Regarding the supplement charge you disputed, we appreciate you agreeing to remove the dispute. As mentioned in our most recent communication, you can return the unopened bottle for a full refund. A return label has been provided to you via email.

I appreciated the review on my results to make sure that I understood what was needed for my genetic variants.
Kenrick was very helpful answering the extra questions that I had and offering to be available if I had any additional questions in the future.

Breaking down my test results in terms I could understand

All questions were answered in detail and I was able to gain a better insight on my reported test results. I was educated on what I can do to improve the risk factors of deficiencies that were discovered in my DNA test.

This supposed DNA test is nothing more than generic information you can print out like weekly astrology paragraph’s out of a newspaper. I never received anything that said my DNA for this test is THIS, and my DNA for this other test is THAT! Then they start pestering you to pay them $159 to get their help so you can understand their genetic answers, most making me print out 35 to 57 pages of just generic info on a suppose test! BUT NOTHING PERSONAL TO MY DNA SUBMITTED! And look how many people have to call them to “understand” test results! Because they aren’t REAL test results ABOUT ME!! This isn’t honorable….

The reason you may see language such as “may,” “could,” or “potentially” is because genetics reflect risk, tendency, and response, not certainty. I ordered methylation test

I ordered methylation test. Guess you get what you paid for.
Got results and had call with a specialist.
Feel I didn’t get what it said online I was supposed to. Very confusing. Left in question about test.
Guess I might spend a little more order another from a more in depth company .
All info was emailed with no understanding what was on test. Had to do my own research. Very upsetting!

HORRIBLE customer service

HORRIBLE customer service. Nightmare. Will try to contact my method of payment to get my money back. They refuse to give me a PDF that I can copy to bring to my doctors. They will reply quickly though if you want to use their docs to review findings. Waste of money.

My consultation with Kenrick was validating

My consultation with Kenrick was very validating. I have multiple medical conditions and am disabled. Going over my results allowed me to understand how my body responds to certain conditions/situations and how my body processes stress and foods. It was a very validating process for me as many doctors I have seen do not know/understand the methylation gene mutation. I now how a better understanding of why my body responds the way it has in the past and how to help my body and my overall health. I would highly recommend for everyone to take a methylation test as well as experience a consultation review of their results. It is very informative and enlightening into how our body works.

Great experience!

I purchased a Methylation kit at Black Friday and the discount code didn’t work, I contacted customer service and not only did they refund me the amount from the discount code but added in a bonus report for free as an apology for the trouble. I have never had a company go above and beyond like that! I would absolutely purchase from them again and the customer service was outstanding!
