Avoid at all costs. Purchased a TL55144W refrigerator over 2 years ago. Last engineer declared it was unrepairable and that because of the particular fault it had never worked as it should. Trying to contact Lec is a nightmare. On numerous occasions, in an endeavour to sort this problem out, I have been holding for an operator for 40 minutes and more. As if that weren't bad enough, over the last 2 months Lec have, in turn; made false promises; ignored me and blatantly lied. This appliance is still under guarantee! I now have no option but to now take legal action.

Storage space really good, goid value for money

This is my second Lec fridge freezer sent the first one back because it freezers everything in the fridge, got a second one and it does the same, their is ice on the back of the fridge, we have tried turned it up and down and nothing happens, we have wasted so much food which has had to be thrown out.

This 50/50 fridge freezer is not fit for purpose .It freezes everything in the FRIDGE no matter how you adjust the temp switch .Others report this fault too wish i had read reviews.Been waiting weeks to get replacement as shop i bought it from having trouble gettig replacement from LEC .Wont buy another LEC product knowingly. zero stars if i could

Excellent fridge. Plenty of room and simple to manoeuvre and fit. Recommended.

We like the fridge-freezer appliance that we recently purchased.
It was the right dimensions for where we wanted to fit it in, and the internal compartments are a good size for the use of a two- adult size family.
It’s easy to use and pleasing to the eye.
Also, we found that buying it through Boots was a really useful option because they always send 2 x men fir delivery and are prepared to bring it inside your home and upstairs! They were also prepared to take away our old freezer, for a reasonable fee!

Bought a LEC under work surface larder fridge 4 months ago. Have had constant problems with it making everything inside wet. The shop suggested setting it cooler but no different.Started to notice a smell from the fridge like rotting meat. Pulled the fridge out and the catch tray was brim full of water. Phoned Lec Service 3 weeks ago, promised to send out a technician- nothing! Asked again in the shop and was told that lots of people have the same problems! Save yourself some agro and buy a different make!

Received my fridge on June 11/21, light inside only worked intermittently reported this to lec engineer arrived 18/06/21saided part( led board ) to be ordered. It’s now July 8th and have heard nothing, terrible service, will I get my warranty extended for this and more importantly will my fridge light be repaired soon

Freezer box door hinge broke after 18 months ordered new parts when arrived so difficult to fix hinge broke have to buy new fridge it wont be lec it is rubbish

Had a lec Fridge freezer delivered in February and all I can say is what a total waste of money this appliance is... My fridge is not even cool enough to keep milk in for over a day, let alone any other groceries. Please do not buy !!!!

Had a lec fridge at home 20 years, then bought another ,it conked out after 4 years, pathetic.

Purchased a Lec chest freezer from AO.com in November 2020.Freezer display panel faulty when arrived. Seen soon afterwards by engineer and have been waiting ever since for the replacement panel to arrive. Lec customer service very pleasant but unable to give delivery date or even estimate of when this will be remedied. 4 months later and still no idea of when I will have a fully working freezer. Do not purchase any goods from this company. Staff pleasant and friendly but obviously their management is useless and only interested in shareholder profits. Lec is part of the Glen Dimplex family and I , my friends, family and work colleagues will never purchase any item from this incompetent corporation again.

My lec aff90185w fridge freezer is 2 years old and has developed multiple cracks on the rear surface of the fridge. Also the door seal came away from bottom of door. It appears to be tacked on in the corners with two tiny spots of glue.
Don’t buy LEC, poor build quality

Bought a lec fridge with ice compartment just over a year ago. Just stopped working out of the blue. Not impressed with this make and product,what a waste of money. Why is there no option for zero star rating.
