My experience with in dealing with my financial clean break order after divorce was extremely disappointing and far more stressful than it should ever have been.

Numerous errors were made in the preparation of documents, causing avoidable delays and complications in what should have been a relatively straightforward matter. To make matters worse, I was then billed for communications and corrective work arising from those errors, including repeated charges for advice I had already received, understood and signed disclaimers for.

I found it deeply frustrating to have to challenge charges that I did not believe were justified, and difficult to get the firm to take the practical steps needed to resolve matters quickly. When they eventually did act, they contacted the court directly as I had suggested, and the billing issue was resolved in line with the points I raised. No further payment was sought beyond what I considered fair.

I was dealing with an already difficult and emotionally exhausting personal situation while trying to resolve matters legally, and I felt there was very little sensitivity or appreciation for the wider circumstances I was facing. At a time when empathy, clarity and careful client handling mattered most, I was left feeling unsupported and further burdened by the process.

What was particularly lacking throughout was any meaningful apology or real sense of accountability from the solicitor handling my case.

Although the matter was eventually resolved, the overall experience left me feeling poorly served and badly let down. I would strongly encourage anyone considering instructing this firm for similar work to ask very careful questions about charging practices, check all paperwork meticulously, and be prepared to challenge anything that does not seem right.

we needed a 'Guarantor document signing' to Guarantee a company mortgage, plus legal advice is mandatory sometimes. This firm is one of the few I could find that offer this service. Kirsty was friendly, and adaptable with staying at 5pm to get the job done quickly

I contacted Lawsons solicitors for advice on a criminal matter via there help desk the lady I spoke to was very polite and helpful took details etc and said I would be contacted later that morning.
I was then contacted by a solicitor called Massimo Trebar who obviously could not be bothered to spare more than a few minutes.
after discussing our case he sent an email containing the wrong persons name and legal aid would not be possible but he was very sharp on his charges.
After contacting a London based solicitor who were very professional and have taken the case on with legal aid.
And have the correct names of the person who needs to be represented obviously Lawsons Solicitors can’t be bothered to be professional.
