I wish I had searched out and read the…

I wish I had searched out and read the reviews for Lawnmowerpartsonline.co.uk before placing and order.
They do not answer their phone, they do not answer emails, their WhatsApp says last seen / read on the 20th Apr 2026!!. The chat system also goes unread.
I can only assume they are either out of business or in the process of going out of business.
Please don’t waste your time or money using this company.
Judging by the other terrible reviews on here and elsewhere they also just respond with ‘ please reach out and contact us’ this is somewhat difficult as they can’t be contacted and don’t respond……
Thankfully I paid using a credit card so my credit card issuer will get my money back.

I’ve added an edit as it doesn’t allow me to respond to the reply from Lawnmowerpartsonline.co.uk.

Just for clarity I emailed and used the chat function last Thursday 9th July as I had received no update after me order on Wednesday 8th July.
I received a very brief and somewhat clumsy response offering not insight other that a tracking number which provided no information.
On Monday 13th I then emailed, phoned, used the chat and the WhatsApp number provided on your website without any response from either.
I then repeated all of the above again yesterday Tuesday 14th, again no response.

You seem to like to respond / reply quickly enough to trust pilot reviews yet still no response to any of my emails or other forms contact.

Your Trustpilot reviews are however painting a very accurate picture of a company who clearly has no idea how to operate and who I’m sure won’t remain in business very long.

Perhaps if you focus on answering your phone and replying to emails instead of focusing on Trustpilot reviews you might not have such awful reviews.

Our records show that your first email was received yesterday morning. Whilst we always aim to respond as quickly as possible, we do ask customers to allow us a reasonable amount of time to investigate and reply before concluding that we are uncontactable.

We also do not operate a WhatsApp customer service channel, so we're unsure which number you have been attempting to contact.

We're disappointed that you've chosen to leave a 1-star review and suggest that we are no longer trading after waiting less than one working day for a response. We are very much still in business and continue to process and dispatch customer orders every day.

Ordered a part took weeks to come when…

Ordered a part took weeks to come when it did arrive it was the wrong part connected them took 2 weeks to come back to me the said it was on its way haven’t received anything tried to contact them twice and heated nothing another month wasted! Do not buy from these

Long delays like 3 weeks

Ordered a spring on the 18th was told there is a delay and will be with me within 10day. Its now been 13 days and no contact from them so i email amd again they say its delayed and hopefully will be in the post within 5 days

Crap communication

Phone call: “we are busy…” then they cut you off. Chat service: took 4 days to respond to a previous message. They might be cheaper but so not worth the hassle

Updated to 3 stars. Having seen this review the company acted fast to resolve the issue. So once I finally got in touch with a helpful agent by email the product was delivered pronto the next day. That was 5 star customer service. Averages at 3 stars. Well recovered

Not what we Expected

We saw online photos of a Stihl strimmer harness for £40.49 & bought from this company. What eventually arrived was a strimmer harness made by Pirhana which is a cheaper version. On complaining to the company we were told that although it says Stihl fs350 harness & the photos are of the genuine Stihl what they send out is what we got! They say nowhere does it say you will receive a Stihl harness! They said we could return it if we are not happy.

We would like to clarify that the product you ordered is listed under the ISE/Piranha brand and is described as a replacement harness for the Stihl FS350. At no point does the listing state that the harness is a genuine Stihl product, nor are any genuine Stihl part numbers used or images.

The reference to "Stihl FS350" is solely to identify the machine that the harness is compatible with. This is common practice for compatible replacement parts and accessories.

If there is anything on the listing that you feel could be clearer, we are always happy to take feedback on board. However, we do believe the listing accurately describes the item supplied.

As advised, if you are not happy with receiving a compatible replacement harness, you are more than welcome to return it for a refund in accordance with our returns policy.

I can see that you emailed us yesterday morning (Sunday) at 09:37. As we are closed on Sundays, we came into the office this morning to find both your email and this review. Unfortunately, we weren't given any opportunity to investigate or resolve the issue before the review was left.

Having checked your order, I can see it was dispatched back in April. It is clear that you have not received it, and we are very sorry for that. However, we had not been contacted previously to let us know the order hadn't arrived, nor had a refund been requested until your email yesterday.

We would have been more than happy to resolve this for you had we known there was an issue. Please bear with us while we investigate what has happened with the shipment, and if the parcel is confirmed as lost, we will of course arrange an appropriate resolution in line with your preference.

Ordered a part over a month ago

Ordered a part over a month ago. They said it would be with me last week but it didn’t arrive. They are now ignoring my emails…..and still have my money. Very poor.

Having reviewed your order, the Segway part you ordered was advised as being on a minimum 3–4 week lead time due to a nationwide stock shortage. Unfortunately, there are currently no units available from the UK distributor, and this information was communicated to you throughout the process.

We are unable to locate any emails from you that have gone unanswered, so if you have contacted us, please get in touch directly with your order details and we will be happy to investigate.

Absolutely appalling service.

Absolutely appalling service.
I ordered a flywheel for a blower 20 days ago and it still has not arrived. Since then, communication has completely stopped. Emails are ignored, online chat messages go unanswered, and enquiries submitted through their website receive no response.
I have repeatedly tried to contact them by phone,on all 5 options only to be left on hold for several minutes before being told to use email or online chat instead—the very channels they refuse to respond to.
I have since purchased the item elsewhere and requested that the order be cancelled and refunded, yet even this request has been ignored.
At this point, I have no confidence that the item has ever been sent The complete lack of communication and customer support is unacceptable. Taking payment, failing to deliver, and then ignoring customers who are simply asking for an update or a refund is not how a professional service should operate KEEP WELL CLEAR

Following a full investigation, we have been able to locate a pending order attempt associated with your details. Unfortunately, due to what appears to have been a technical issue during the checkout process, the payment was successfully taken but the order itself did not complete correctly and therefore was never created on our live order system.

As there was no active order against your account, this is also why you did not receive the usual order confirmation and update emails. Likewise, when your later emails came through to us, they were unfortunately not automatically linked to an active order and were therefore given a lower priority during an exceptionally busy period.

We completely appreciate that this is not the level of service you expected, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by this system error. We can assure you that this was not a case of your order being ignored or intentionally left unresolved.

We have now investigated the matter fully and will ensure that a full refund is processed immediately, as you have already sourced the part elsewhere.

Once again, please accept our apologies for this unfortunate technical glitch and the frustration it has caused.

Absolutely appalling service.

I ordered a 19" Universal Mower Blade…

I ordered a 19" Universal Mower Blade for my 19" Hyundai mower.

Despite being labelled 'universal', the blade cannot be fitted to the mower as the holes on the blade are a totally different size and shape. So I can't use it which is very frustrating as my lawn needs a cut.

I contacted the company, explained the issue, with photos, and asked if they could provide a blade that would fit, or failing that, a refund.

Their response was quite surprising. They told me that, contrary to my understanding, 'universal' does not mean 'universal', so the mistake was entirely mine.

As a result I'd need to pay a £5 handling fee + postage to return it. The blade only cost £16.

According to them, I should have known the universal blade would not fit my mower and I should not have ordered it. In their words, the blade is 'not suitable for my application'.

Instead of sorting this minor issue and building loyalty, they acted churlish over something that was ordered in good faith but doesn't fit the description.

I had to go through my credit card provider to get a refund which is laughable for such a tiny sum.

Nowhere on their website does it state which brands / mowers this universal blade has been tested with, so it's entirely pot luck if you buy it.

Needless to say, they've done a great job of ensuring I never buy from them again.

We are sorry you feel this way, however a number of statements within this review are misleading.

The blade supplied was the exact universal blade ordered from the listing selected. Universal blades are designed to fit a broad range of applications, however this does not mean they are guaranteed to be an exact direct fit for every mower model purely because the cutting width is the same.

As explained during our correspondence, mower blade compatibility is determined by multiple factors including mounting configuration, centre hole arrangement and offset/height — not simply the blade length alone.

We also note from your own comments that the blade had been fitted to the machine and attempted to be used. Once an item has been fitted/used, it is no longer in brand new resaleable condition.

At no stage were we unwilling to assist. We responded to your emails, reviewed the photographs provided and explained the situation clearly. We also advised that the blade could still be returned back to us under our standard returns procedure.

Unfortunately, as a small business, we cannot simply refund fitted and used parts free of charge every time a universal aftermarket item turns out not to suit a particular machine variation.

We are sorry you were unhappy with the outcome on this occasion.

Ordered 2 sets of items from this company. One arrived, the other set of items didn't come. Even though the receipt that arrived with it detailed the other set of items. Have emailed twice in the past 2 weeks and had no reply. Very disappointing customer service.
