I have used Last Bottle for years but now....
I have used Last Bottle for years. In the past I had mostly good experiences (one fairly badly corked batch of wine that they refunded). Recently however the costumer service, the shipping of wines, and even much of what they offer has tanked. I have two outstanding order from TWO MONTHS AGO. I have written 3 times and have been ignored. I will wait until the end of the week then contest the charges with my credit card company.
I know the company was sold a few years ago and this is obviously when the quality went down. Too bad. What I don't think they realize is that there are many online wine sellers who do basically the exact same thing and so they are not really needed. Better up their game or lose their game.

Last Bottle Wines seems to have changed its shipping to another system and wine shows as fulfilled, isn't. Customer service is completely unresponsive. Going to send my business to WTSO and other options.
Terrible Customer Service
Good deals but you often get orders incorrectly shipped. When that happens, their customer service is non-existent. Response times are terrible. I have been waiting for weeks for someone to help address my last issue.
Sorry end to long relationship with wine vendor
It pains me that a vendor that I had shopped with in full confidence for over 10 years suddenly did the 180. Their customer service replies to emails had always been less than 48 hours. All went downhill for my experience since January 23. I had made 5 separate purchases since 9/1/2025 and had them hold the orders until I am ready for one shipment. I had done this numerous times in the past. I have emailed 3 times since 1/23, and one phone message left on 2/10. Nothing. I just called Chase bank that issued my credit card to file my dispute on the purchases. I urge everyone to call their banks to do the same.
Pitiful customer support
There was a billing error. Emailed five times. Left 5 voicd mails. CRICKETS !!!! Their customer support is an oxymoron ! Truly pitiful.
ZERO Customer Service
I was introduced to Last Bottle several months ago and have placed multiple orders. My most recent received order was from their annual blowout. Whilst they were very clear that any orders placed during that time wouldn’t be fulfilled until late January. I was certainly fine with that. I received the bottle and upon opening the packaging it immediately appeared that the bottle was leaking. This was evidenced by the the leak within the packaging along with the side of the bottle , and an elevated ( raised ) cork. I have sent three follow-up emails to the Last Bottle only for them not to be acknowledged. I understand that they do not have a direct person to person contact , but the overall customer experience is not good. I’m reluctant in continuing any business with them. The deals are great but if you are looking for accountability ( service standards ) you unfortunately are not going to find that with this company.
Terrible way to run a business
An error was made in my order which was immediately corrected on line. I tried repeatedly to contact the company to confirm the correction but it refused to acknowledge the problem, correct it or respond in any way. What a terrible way to run a business!

I have ordered frequently, since 2013, an estimated 100+ orders. Recently, I reviewed my order status (all orders) and found 3 "pending shipment." I both emailed them and left a VM with CS. One order finally arrived. I then inquired about the other two orders, and have been ghosted since. I have sent 3 emails and left 3 VMs - Nothing. They even provided an option for them to call me back instead of waiting on hold. Nothing.
UPDATE 2/7/26 - I have heard from the Pres. of the company and their CS manager suggesting replacements as they no longer have these wines. I have OK's a couple but still have received nothing.
I'll update this if it gets resolved.
Last order with Last Bottle
I have placed over 30 orders over the past 8 years, not a lot. I'm selective. My last order was placed Nov. 11, 2025. Email'd that it would be a while due to holiday rush. Shipment sent back to Last Bottle since neither FedEx or Last Bottle informed me it had shipped. Now I would like my refund. Three emails and two phone calls later, none of which have been returned, and I am done with them. I read the founders of the company sold it in 2021, explains a lot. Rated "F" by the BBB
DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
I bought a bottle on november 28th and it took until january 5th to get here. I asked to cancel the order on december 23rd since it was taking WAY too long to get here and I needed it to arrive before the holidays. However, my initial email was ignored and given an automated response and another empty email. I had to email again asking for a refund 3 days later. Then 5 days pass and they respond IMMEDIATLY after my order is "delivered" as if they were waiting for it to ship so they dont have to cancel it. They told me it was delivered, however it was NOT and it was still across the country in california. I show them the tracking location and tell them to just CANCEL IT as ive asked for more than a week ago, then they respond 2 days later with an apology of their emails and shipping being delayed and nothing else. I ask them why they arent even addressing me asking for a refund, and they have the nerve to tell me "Apologies. The order is on the way which complicates the issue.
If that delivery is refused, once it is returned to us and checked in by warehouse staff, we can issue that refund (minus the 3% refund fee charged by the credit card processor + plus any shipping already paid)."
So not only did they intentionally stall their responses with their emails to make it impossible for me to cancel the order, they are trying to charge me refund/shipping FEES despite it being THEIR FAULT that the order was shipped.
Not to mention after going through all of this, the wine tasted like shit, made my friend sick after 1-2 sips
TLDR:
This is a SCAM company that will take your money and make sure you will never be able to get a full refund without paying for fees by stalling their emails long enough until your order ships out so they can charge you for shitty wine.

I have been a happy customer for years, but
I have been a happy customer for years, but I am no longer buying from them. Customer Service (or lack there of) and ridiculously long shipping times have turned me off. I ordered wine in September which I have not received and you can't get a response out of them. Stay away at least until they acknowledge their issues. All you'll get from them now is a bot response.

Last Bottle Wines is Horrible
Placed an order on November 28th, November 30th, and December 2nd. Have not received any of those orders as I'm writing this review on December 22nd. Sent them an email on December 13th and another one on December 18th with no response. Customer service nonexistent. Left my phone number in my second email with a request that they call me and still nothing. This company is horrible. All of my orders has been in the "Processing" stage for over a week. I've received better communication and faster shipping from companies outside of the U.S. At this point, I'm considering reaching out to my credit card company to get my money back.

Warning! Extreme Delays and Non-Existent Customer Service.
I placed an order on November 28th 2025 for a holiday gift and anticipated a standard delay during the season. However, the service I received was unacceptable.
• After a full week, I had no shipping information. My initial email inquiry was answered two days later with a vague, boilerplate response citing a "significant two-week delay." I was willing to be patient.
• The real problem began when another week passed with still no updates. I had to email them a second time, and then follow up again the next day, stating that I would file a credit card dispute if my order didn't ship soon. Their final reply was the same useless, boilerplate email—they provided absolutely no information on the status or expected shipment date of my order.
• When my final follow-up was completely ignored, I decided to file a dispute with my credit card company (AE) and successfully received my refund. This company is highly irresponsible and appears to ignore customers once a problem arises. Buyers beware: their communication is terrible, and their commitment to fulfilling orders is questionable. I will NEVER order from them again.
P.S. I ended up finished my Xmas shopping in some big name store. It was a bit pricy but hey, at least it’s not a scam!

Last Bottle Prices and Service are hard to match
I have been purchasing from Last Bottle for a while but my experience has been taken to the next level by Charles Copley at First Bottle, their sister company. He has been a massive help in directing me to the wines that I would prefer and I would have missed if I had not taken his advice. I have collected wine for over 30 years and have found some of the better deals and service from last bottle in the last few months and I give a lot of the credit to Charles. Great guy, easy to work with and takes his time to address your issues presale and post sale. Service at Last Bottle exceeds that of many of the vineyards that I have purchased wine from and, given the wine industry slow down, prices are some of the best I have seen in many years.
Can you wait a month to get wines
I have been buying from this company for a while, while they offer some good prices when combined with service and delivery times, makes it a terrible experience. These guys don’t ship, and every time the answer is we are working on fixing the issues but it never happens. Currently waiting for 4 orders over 20 days no response from multiple emails

NEW CUSTOMER—WISH I WASNT.!!
I am a new customer and wish I wasn’t!
Placed my first significant order several weeks ago October 28 2025.
FedEx still says it’s awaiting a label and pickup.?
I have reached out twice via email as there is no specific phone number or contact information. That just VERY sketchy to begin with.
I was told basically that they’re still trying to hire people to fulfill existing orders? First come first serve? From three weeks ago?
What the heck is that about?
Obviously, this company is struggling and does not have a solid management or operations foundation.
I have requested a status update by the end of this week.
I will be filing complaints with the Attorney General and ATF.
Other vendors that I have ordered wine from other states, I usually receive within a week. This is unbelievable.
UPDATE: I contacted Jerra 11/13/25 at the phone # below and was told my wine was scheduled to be shipped on Friday 11/14 or 11/17. As FedEx only picks up Mon-Fri.
They are still trying to hire staff and ship out Marathon sales?
GUESS WHAT?? Nothing has been shipped yet!!
UPDATE- LB reached back out and explained the shipping process and provided fantastic service.
They went above 100% satisfaction and shipped my wine expedited so that I would have it delivered in time.
My package arrived and I am very pleased and happy with the mystery contents.!
Will purchase here again.

I have loved Last Bottle but....
I have loved Last Bottle for many years. and spent thousands of dollars on their wines
but recently they have not responded to emails and phone calls regarding an order they never sent me from a month ago.
This has never happened before. Im not sure what is going on with their customer service but I hope they straighten it out soon.

Quick to take money but never received wine
I order and paid for wine 9 weeks ago. Have yet to receive the wine. The only way to contact them is via email to a generic help address. Extremely slow to reply, always a different name, promises to get back to me and never do. I asked for a credit since they haven't sent my wine, no response. I see good reviews, but as far as this customer is concerned, it is a scam.
UPDATE - the organization finally reached out to me after numerous attempts to contact them and shipped the wine I ordered. I have revised my rating because my issue was finally resolved.

Not worth the hassle
While I have gotten a few good deals, I am very disappointed with their customer service. It takes weeks/months to get a delivery. They blow you off, make promises, and give you misleading information. Not sure what their business model is but the wine deals are not worth the hassle.
