Been to the one next to Wembley stadium a few times, food’s decent enough at that price bracket, good service, friendly staff. Normally go for happy hour cocktails, unfortunately, when an event is on... See more

Terrible
Looking at the star rating reviews that Las Iguanas have received so far, I'm not surprised I'm writing this. We only booked this place because we couldn't get in where we originally wanted. Absolute shambles/rip off. £35 for bottomless brunch and more if you added extras on like chips because they didn't come as standard with anything!! The staff started bringing pitchers out (3 x different flavours) of cocktails; probably about a capful of alcohol in each pitcher. These were coming out like a conveyor belt; clearly to distract us from ordering the hard stuff. When asked (there were 11 if us at this brunch) for coctails, some of the waiters were saying there were no ingredients to make them! The food was even worse. Mine was a plate of leaves (went to McDonald's afterwards I was so hungry). To add insult to injury, they added a "Gratuity" charge on for £45!! I asked for this to be removed (we decide whether the service we received warrants a tip; it didnt). I could go on, but I think you get the gist. Avoid at all costs and go somewhere else......seriously. don't take my word for it, look at the other reviews.....never again.
Amazing service at Stratford
Amazing service and care given by Bruno. He was attentive, knowledgeable of the products and so welcoming. He served with a smile and helped rectify an issue with ease and understanding. 10 stars for excellent service and care. Thank you Bruno
Would highly recommend
Just had lunch in Torquay and would highly recommend. A busy bank holiday but the staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. Fantastic options of food and all was delicious. We were served by Scott and he was brilliant. Quick, attentive and informative.
The worst meal I have ever had
Where do I start? I am on a school trip and we booked our food months ago! We have arrived and ordered our drinks, the cups are disgusting and 100% not clean. Our food has taken 30 minutes to have food come out of the kitchen, I understand that 40 kids to feed is a lot but when burgers come out the bread should not be stale, the meat should be in the burger. The waiter came out to our table 5 times with the wrong order. One of my friends had ordered the chicken burger and it was undercooked. I don’t understand how this place is still up and running. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would also like to comment on the cheese burger it is just plain cheese and very stale bread this food is horrible and there’s no way on planet earth anyone can enjoy the food here it’s vile the bread was way to soggy on the inside and very stale on the outside and very cold the bread was also burnt. Hands down worst restaurant ever. The bathrooms are rusty and disgusting.
Luke at Reading
Luke was a great host and the food was really nice. Two for one cocktails may have contributed to our enjoyment!
Can I just say how amazing Stephen is
Can I just say how amazing Stephen is. Not only did he get all drinks to us in an amazing time, he was kind and provided a free birthday drink for my friend. He was kind and the food was AMAZING. Could maybe be bigger portioned but we cared more about the alcohol which we got A LOT of. Thank you to all staff including the blue haired girl and the guy with a stubble.
Birthday celebrations
We had a fantastic time celebrating my birthday on Monday 15th April. The food was terrific and we managed to enjoy the two for one cocktails. Josh, our waiter was brilliant. Friendly, knew the products and was great at advising us on what cocktails to have.
ordered via Deliveroo in York including…
ordered via Deliveroo in York including beef quesadillas for me and mushroom quesadillas for my wife who is vegetarian. For some bizarre reason, it came in 2 boxes which each had one beef and one mushroom quesadilla in it lying on top of each other. This lead to my wife accidentally biting into the beef after she ate the mushroom one. Complained already via Deliveroo but no reply or refund. This was the last time ordering from Las Iguanas.
Dreadful food
Dreadful food, no atmosphere.
Amongst the bland food, the worst was the mixed grill. The meat was so overcooked it was tough and un edible, rice was bland and cold. Chips were good !
Left 80% of the meal, server just said other people say the mixed grill is rubbish !
Ordered a vegetarian fajita stack and my daughter was served a steak stack with no veg . This we returned and a veg stack came but was bland. As were the burritos that the other guests had.
Restaurant only had 2 other tables of customers in on Bank Holiday Monday , we now know why .
Server did not apologise or offer to adjust bill for un edible food.
Booked for my 60th birthday in Bath
Booked for my 60th birthday in Bath, absolutely dreadful, didn’t wish me a happy birthday and as a cancer patient and disabled, I asked if there was a lift down to the toilets, staff just laughed and said no and were laughing at me trying to get down the stairs, what should have been a memorable experience turned into an actual nightmare.
Never again
Never again, waited 30 mins to get severed on bottomless brunch, ended up walking out, what a joke
Emily @ world resort
Emily @ world resort, Birmingham - perfect server. Quick to bring drinks, super friendly and gave me a birthday shot 🍻
Las Iguanas Resorts World
We should have realised what a bad experience we were in for when the waitress sarcastically rolled her eyes and said "which one"when my wife asked for a glass of red wine. We'd booked a table for eight for 5:00pm The slow service of mediocre food saw us try to order dessert at around 6:30pm only to be told that our table was required for a large group at 7:00pm and the table was only booked for us for 2 hours. To have dessert we'd have to move to the bar area. A complaint to the manager resulted in her making a condescending remark to my wife, stating that the 2-hour time slot was in the T&Cs "darling" Very rude. We left after paying the full amount including a non-deserved service charge. We only wanted sorbet and cheesecake, so it would have hardly taken us over the 2 hours. A written complaint to their parent group, The Big Table, seems to have fallen on deaf ears too as we've not had any response apart from an automated message stating that they would get back within 4 working days. There was no working phone number given either. I'll avoid this whole chain from now on.
Awful overpriced cheap food. Tiny portion
I had the mix grill. £27.00. So over priced! Had 2 pieces of meat. Rice and a few chips, Awful. Will never go there again. My bill came to £47.00 at lunch. Never offered a refund. 2 sticks with meat on. Still in shock now.
Gunwharf quays branch was brilliant
Gunwharf quays branch was brilliant, great service from the lovely James, plenty of drinks and delicious tacos. Would absolutely recommend!
Bottomless brunch is absolutely awful
Bottomless brunch is absolutely awful. Took over 30 minutes to have our first drink served. Poor quality badly executed cocktails. Most were undrinkable. Tables weren’t clean and the food was nasty. Soggy rice, less than a teaspoon of guacamole and approximately 5 tortilla chips. Food like this is cheap to make so no excuses!!!! No customer care or service. A truly terrible experience and incredibly overpriced considering what’s on offer!

Leamington branch, last week.Staff were ok,food has shrunk since last visit.I asked where garlic sauce was for my curly fries. The waitress said its now 75 p extra for that. My enchilada was thin and small , rice was small ,black beans were watery and small. Will not go back there again.
First time in any Las Iguanus
First time in any Las Iguanus. This was Bracknell. Service appallingly slow. Staff just don't seem to care or really want to be there. If they were understaffed then close half the tables so you can service customers properly. Request water and it never arrives so you have to chase for it. Had to chase when will food be ready. Food not bad but service dreadful. We prefer to dine where the service is good and customers seem valued. Las Iguanus is not for us again.
Cocktails were weak and tasteless
Cocktails were weak and tasteless, my burrito was the thinnest burrito I’ve ever seen, hardly any filling. Music was so loud we couldn’t have a proper conversation - will never go there again. Leeds restaurant
Poor food at Southampton branch
Recently visited the Southampton branch. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and efficient.
It has been a few years since we have been to a Las Iguanas. Previous visits to the London O2, Portsmouth and Cardiff have always been good, with a decent choice of well prepared food.
This wasn't the case recently. The menu was pretty uninspiring.
We were surprised when the food arrived just 5 minutes after being ordered. The veggie burrito was warm enough, but contained hard vegetables. The rice and black bean sauce were cold. Similar story with the loaded chicken, and the chicken itself was lukewarm and covered in congealed gritty cheese sauce.
Dessert was no better, the brownie was mush, and while the cheesecake was good, it came served on a warm dish.
