Packages excellent
Packages excellent, but after installing it as this 51 year naval aviation officer, now engineer did, the laptop never powered back on or its power cable showed no light. Had to replace my HP laptop in the end. Selling the new battery online when I have the time.

Excellent Customer Service and Product
When I initially ordered the replacement battery I needed, I had just received a battery from another source (through Amazon, but not Amazon's fault, I think...) that didn't operate as expected (my laptop wouldn't recognize the battery). I found Laptopbatterydirect.net during a search, and saw they had the battery I needed, and they seemed like a quality store to deal with, so I placed my order, and waited for delivery. When I received the package, the box it was shipped in was smashed in. I contacted the online chat customer support link, and was immediately responded to, which after explaining what I received, and providing a few pictures of the package and battery codes, I was told another battery was being shipped. I received the replacement battery today, installed it into my laptop, and am writing this review with my revived laptop.

Needed a replacement battery
I was looking for a replacement battery for my older HP. It's a battery that is internal. I was a bit concerned about replacing it my self (66 y/o F) but with the help of a video and an exact replacement battery, all is good. Shipment was fast, battery was packaged well. Prior to writing this review
Prior to writing this review, I read my last one on May 7, 2024 which is still correct and solved the issue that I was having at the time. But, now I realize that the battery doesn't seem to last as long as I would expect. In the past, the original battery, I would have it plugged in 24/7 unless if I was using it. Now, with your battery, I only plug in the power adapter when the battery is less then15 percent charge. The reason for that is prior to purchasing your battery I read that the longevity of the battery is determined by how many times it is charged. So I changed how and when I would plug in the adapter to charge it. So I really don't know how long it should have sufficient power to operate the computer. But I do appreciate the info provided me on other factors that also effect the longevity or life of the battery. I am sure if there is a future issue that you will assist to resolve it. I was looking for a laptop battery for a Pixel Slate device that was discontinued years ago, so I was uncertain I would find it, and when I did find it on this website, it was at a lower price than my research had shows. So it was with some healthy skepticism as I waited for delivery, and took the device in for the battery replacement. Everything went great and the battery life is very good!

Battery for a dying HP laptop
At first I was skeptical that this battery would help. My HP laptop was only about 1 1/2 years old and was losing its screen signal. Many horizontal lines interrupting my work often, and finally just quit. I got on YouTube and the web to troubleshoot, and they recommended a new battery pack. I got on YouTube and went through the steps of taking the laptop 'apart', replacing the battery with your product, and no longer do I have an issue with my HP laptop. I'm beyond pleased!

The first good laptop battery I've bought in years.
I gave up on refurbishing older Dell XPS and Precision laptops years ago because every absurdly expensive "genuine Dell OEM" battery I bought was a piece of garbage. If only I'd bought from Laptopbatterydirect. I might still be in that business.

Purchased mid January 2024 for a 2016 HP Envy. Installed and worked right out of the box. And is still working. HP says it needs calibration but their software can't do it. Will probably replace laptop before the battery dies if it lasts as long as the original.

I bought this battery once before and it worked for a couple years before it swelled up and required to buy another one. Purchased the same battery from here. Installed it the same way. It worked for one power cycle and then fried my motherboard with a power surge. It cost me hundreds of dollars, hours wasted of my time,and a new laptop. Never will I buy a battery from here again.

Very disappointed with quality of product but happy with Laptop Direct
The packaging and time to arrive was excellent. I charged the battery as was directed in the instructions, then installed it in my laptop. I went to use it expecting 4 to 6 hours of usage but it didn't even last half an hour. Very disappointed! I don't fault this company for the problem but their supplier. I no longer have this laptop so the new owner has the problem to deal with. Laptop Battery Direct has offered to correct the problem so again I do not fault this business.

Package was opened and had another mailing label over mine.
This is the second battery I have purchased for my Dell G7. With this most recent one, the package was mangled, appeared to be opened and re-taped. There was no damage to the battery. I noticed on the package that my shipping label was placed over another one. I am not sure my battery was a return from the previous person or not. The batter works but I do not know how to tell if it is working as it should. Overall, it appears that it holds a decent charge, but I have no way to really know if it was used and a returned battery.
