Scam batteries and locations
Edit: I reached out to their customer service, I'm pretty sure it was just chat gpt and they provided no help and suggested I FIX the battery they sent to me with messed up pins.
They ship from China but say they use USPS, FEDEX AND UPS. THEY USE CHINA POST and it's been 30 days and still haven't received it nor does the tracking show where it is. Update: I got it and as expected it's trash, the pins are crooked and don't line up...the female port on the battery is recessed so it would even go in if the pins lined up.

Battery only lasts for 5 months
Battery lasts for about 5 months before not turning on again. It worked fine for a while, but then my laptop kept saying the CMOS checksum is invalid, an issue that went away after I refit the old battery. It would randomly turn off and my laptop would say it has run into an issue, which once led to a word document getting corrupted after I had been working on for a while. You are better off ordering a battery that is made specifically by your computer manufacturer.

The battery came on time, I was unaware that the battery would need to be calibrated to my laptop. I followed the instructions to do so, however the calibration did not work. I am not very tech savvy so after trying to calibrate a few times to no avail. As long as I left it plugged in it worked so I guess I am unable to say the battery was truly working.

I ordered a replacement battery from Dell, and while making the swap, I noticed that the form factor and labeling of the Laptopbatterydirect battery were identical to those of the Dell. A message on the battery (from Dell) was that it was not for resale, but Laptopbatterydirect sold it to me. This is suspicious and should concern anyone purchasing a battery from this company.

The battery is good for about one year. Afterward, you will regret the purchase whenever the PC randomly shuts down even though the battery is charged and the laptop is plugged in. Stick with the OEM battery because at least you will get a solid three years versus this nonsense!

I had to purchase a replacement battery…
I had to purchase a replacement battery for my work laptop. The older one was holding the charge for a maximum of 15 minutes. The order was a charm and I received the package few days later. Replacement was easy and the battery was already fully charged. I have been using it for the past two months. Works fine, but once fully charged, it lasts only 30 to 40 minutes. So not much of a change. But the service was great. Maybe there is a defect with this battery.
