Im running a small restaurant and…

Im running a small restaurant and filipino catering do not buy on this company, there's No manners to deal with the customers, i spent 7k pounds of comercial equipment and the chargrill and deep fryers after 3 months busted, i call Ayaz many times and ask for the parts (flame sensor and thermostat for the deep fryers until 3 months later still waiting there's no parts coming, lessons learned google first and read the reviews before you buy, Avoid this KRD

Sent a Used Item and Refused Responsibility

I am extremely disappointed with the service and handling of my return.

I am still awaiting a response and a proper resolution. The funds for my order remain on hold because I was sent a used item, and what should have been a straightforward return has turned into an unnecessarily long and frustrating process.

The product supplied to me — KRD Commercial Ribbed Griddle (Model KEG-821) — was not new. Upon opening the package, the unit was clearly contaminated with oils, residue, and visible stains, which strongly indicate prior use or handling. This condition is completely unacceptable and does not match the description of a new product.

To be absolutely clear:
Had this item been supplied in new, unused condition as advertised, I would never have attempted to return it. The return is solely due to your company supplying goods that were unsatisfactory, misrepresented, and not as described.

Your explanation that this condition is “normal” due to protective oiling is not credible. I have purchased the same thing from a different manufacturer and that did not come with the oil stains you are referring to at all. I have also bought other similar commercial equipment in the past and around the, and none arrived in this state. Protective oiling does not explain widespread stains and residue consistent with prior use. Supplying a product in this condition breaches basic consumer standards.

Accordingly:

This return is not a change-of-mind return

Your internal returns policy does not override statutory consumer rights

Responsibility for return shipping and collection lies entirely with your company, as the fault originated on your side

I will not accept liability for return costs or any restocking fees

Expecting a customer to pay to return a heavy commercial unit that was incorrectly supplied is unreasonable and unlawful.

I have repeatedly requested that you arrange collection of the griddle at your expense and confirm that a full refund will be issued upon receipt. This has still not been resolved.

If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will proceed without further notice to:

Initiate a formal dispute with my bank, supported by photographic evidence of the item’s condition upon delivery; and

Escalate the matter through the appropriate consumer protection and legal channels.

I expect written confirmation that collection will be arranged and that a full refund will be processed without further delay.

Cowboy customer service, Avoid!

Terrible customer service, avoid this company. Bought a couple of bins that arrived with missing clips. They refused to send the missing parts because I was a few days outside their returns policy. They also refuse to take back the faulty item which puts them in breach of the consumers act, but they don't seem to care.
It's a clown show over there, I wished I had looked at their reviews beforehand.

Absolutely Disgraceful – Worst Company I’ve Dealt With


I placed an order for a fridge with KRD on 30th November. After being left waiting with no updates, I was finally contacted on 15th December and told they had only just realised the item was out of stock. Two weeks later. Unbelievable.

This is not a mistake — it’s pure incompetence. Taking orders without checking stock and wasting customers’ time like this is completely unacceptable. No apology can excuse such poor systems and total lack of professionalism.

The service is awful, the communication is non-existent, and the treatment of customers is disgraceful. This is hands down one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid KRD at all costs.

Just Avoid

I clearly should have read the reviews before buying. Ordered a shelving unit which arrived with damaged packaging and a missing part which means it’s useless and cannot be assembled. 8 phone calls later and 4 emails l’m still waiting to hear what they are going to do about it. I suspect the poor women (not spoke to any men when I call customer service) are having to deal with many many issues none of which Mr Massoud can be bothered to deal with as he’s already had the money….just avoid

Ordered a brand new Bain Marie for my…

Ordered a brand new Bain Marie for my new business. Turned up quickly, but when opened I noticed some rusty marks inside. Didn’t think much of it, started to use it. One corner was dripping very slowly, again I thought it must have been me, something I hadn’t done right. Second time using it was dripping much much worse. Third time of using it was dripping from both corners now. Completely unusable and clearly was a returned item having the rust inside. Contacted customer services on day three sent photos… ignored. Then a week later was asked to send photos to a WhatsApp. Ignored until I chased again. They said thanks and have forwarded to their technical department. I

This is not good enough. I cannot continue with my business at the moment and I’m being ignored and fobbed off. It has been quite a while since I requested you collect the item and issue a refund as it is not fit for purpose but you have chosen to ignore me.

Terrible company who are out only to take your hard earned cash. Avoid.

I do not recommend this company

Ordered a heated gantry, when it arrived one of the support legs was faulty meaning I couldn’t assemble it. It took over 1 month for the replacement to arrive. They don’t answer emails, even when you phone you can only speak to a receptionist, not management. Once I finally received the spare part I realised I’d made a mistake and the gantry was too big for where I wanted it, completely my fault, they refused to take it back and exchange it for a smaller one, even tho I offered to pay the return postage and keep any refund as site credit to be used in the future. This was my first and last time using this company.

Terrible company to buy. They pretended that they will refund us 75% and then they only refunded us 45%. Omar and Rory the managers are absolute crooks. Their equipment is not actually working. DO NOT BUY!!!

I purchased a heated gantry last week one of the bulbs was not working and because of how it was packaged the plugs on each shelf are scratched one badly, I sent an email straight away, heard nothing asked them to respond to my email at the beginning of the week still no reply - be warned don’t purchase from this company not there for you when you have issues. I will never purchase from them again

Bought a juicer that never arrived, emails ignored, and phone not being answered or not on hook.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering, as this company is a scam and dropships cheap items from China, and they don't have physical inventory or legit items they list on their website

Cheap equipment - Zero customer service - AVOID KRD

I purchased a meat slicer from this company for home use (albeit a small commercial unit).

There were little to no updates on delivery, only on chasing by phone did they tell me they would get back to me, I didn't hear back but then received an email update a couple of days later.

The device when it arrived was supplied with a scrap of paper, in extremely poor English with no useful advice on key areas (especially for a commercial and potentially dangerous device) such as assembly, safe operation, cleaning or troubleshooting. I requested more information only to be told over and over that the information is in the manual, despite them not actually being able to point to the information on any of the topics.

The machine is also faulty, with the slicing blades rotating in the opposite direction than would be needed to actually slice anything. KRD asked for a video showing how i'd assembled the unit (they later claimed it comes pre-assembled) and showing the blades rotating in the wrong direction. I supplied this. They denied the problem asking for another video, so another was supplied demonstrating the blades kicking anything out that was placed in the hopper, still not acceptable to them. Yet another video requested. Each time, moving the goalposts and lying as to what they'd previously said (it's an email thread, pretty clear!!)

They have tried everything to get out of refunding or accepting a return for this faulty kit so been passed to solicitors.

I'd strongly advise avoiding these box shifters like the plague. Their kit is readily available elsewhere, their service can't be as bad as KRD

Do not buy a product and regret later.
Made a mistake , bought items without reading these reviews. Bought many products for the new restaurant kitchen. Specially electric or gas equipments do not buy from them. Most of them doesn’t work and have issues. They do not accept the fault in the product rather they will blame on you even when you have letter from certified engineer about fault in the product.

Purchased a brand new pizza oven for my business
2 weeks in the control buttons fell off
So they send replacement ones
7 weeks later oven failed completely and keeps short circuiting the electric supply

They now want me to employ an engineer to find out whats wrong with it at my own cost??? So they can send me the parts For a brand new commercial machine that hasn’t even lasted 2 months!!!
the warranty is not worth the paper it is written upon.
Shocking customer service- buy elsewhere!!!
