KRD have been nothing but irresponsible…

KRD have been nothing but irresponsible for their actions against the faulty item they delivered, I spoke to them 9 days of receiving this (which is well within their 14 days window) which they refused a refund and to collect the item!  Disgusting behaviour and as they know under the consumer rights act, for a faulty item I have the right to a full refund.

• I purchased the fridge online and filled in all my details for delivery
• KRD Catering office on transferring the details to the delivery driver for delivery , transferred across the wrong postcode. This resulted in a failed delivery and somebody waiting in at the right address for this to be delivered.
• The fridge was scheduled for delivery on the 6th of March, however, this did not arrive till the 9th March 09:39 (due to wrong postcode/ failed delivery)
• Following installation and leaving the fridge plugged in for 24 hrs we noticed it was leaking.
• I contacted their customer support on the 18th March to complain and ask for a resolution. (which is well within their 14 days window to notify the of any faults, etc )
• They have since fobbed me off with one excuse after another and are unwilling to help.

I've had no other option but to take this up with a small claims court!!!

This company needs reporting.

I ordered the KRD Countertop 2.2kw…

I ordered the KRD Countertop 2.2kw Electric Flat Smooth Griddle 365x480x220mm KEG-810 it came damaged. When I contacted them they offered only £6 off and said if I want to return it have to pay for my own return. The service provided was unacceptable and the item was very damaged. I have a video i could upload. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase from them.

The product I received does not perform…

The product I received does not perform as expected and is not fit for purpose. Despite this, their customer service has been extremely frustrating and unhelpful.

I have provided clear explanations and evidence multiple times, yet they continue to repeat the same responses and delay the process instead of offering a resolution. Each time I respond, they ask for more tests or repeat the same instructions, which feels like deliberate stalling.

They are now claiming the unit requires water to function, which is not stated anywhere in the product listing or manual. This is a fundamental detail that should have been made clear before purchase. Had it been disclosed, I would not have bought the product.

Rather than taking responsibility, they are avoiding issuing a return or refund and prolonging the situation unnecessarily.

Very poor experience from both a product and customer service perspective. I would strongly recommend avoiding.

do not use they are rip off merchant brought a display case for cake doors were ill fitting .... was told I have to reply in 24 hours to any delivery issues or its not there problem .. cabinet delivery late afternoon friday opend on Monday found fault reported it but too late due to company policy ... absolute terrible sent 10videos of fault they say they can't see issue ........ basically save your monie do not use them full stop

DONT USE THEM !!!!!

id give it zero if I could brought a cake display cabinet from them couple weeks ago when I assembled it 3 days later ( instruction in gibberish also ) the doors were faulty!!
despite sending video they requested of the fault . they say it should of been reported in 24 hours very hard considering it was still in box
despite numerous attempts to contact them it all falls on deaf ears we now are 200 pound out of pocket n a cake cabinet that can't be used !!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I am extremely dissatisfied with the products and service provided by KRD Catering Equipment.
I purchased two display fridges for my business, both of which have proven to be defective. One unit was delivered in an unacceptable and visibly poor condition, raising immediate concerns about quality control. The second unit failed completely within a matter of weeks, which is wholly unacceptable for newly purchased commercial equipment.
Equally concerning is the lack of adequate customer support. I made repeated attempts over three days to contact the company, experiencing delays and a clear lack of responsiveness. When I finally received a response, I was informed that I would need to arrange and pay for my own technician, as they claim the issue is not covered under warranty.
This position is both unreasonable and unacceptable. Supplying faulty goods and then refusing to take responsibility undermines basic consumer rights and demonstrates a serious disregard for after-sales obligations.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend KRD Catering Equipment. I strongly urge the company to review its quality control processes and customer service standards.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS

I wouldn't even give 1 star if I didn't have to select one to leave a review!
3 months in on a brand new pizza prep fridge and the compressor stops working, claim under the 12 month warranty and get told to jump through hoops before they will entertain an outcome.
Still waiting on emails and call backs but not holding my breath. Disgusting customer service, disgusting company and really disappointed with the lack of communication and support from this company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY -

I bought a convection oven from these cowboys and it literally just burns everything… I had an electrician look at it and there wasn’t a fault therefore they are just made really poorly….

They wouldn’t refund me and did not help at all… I’ve wasted £700 and I can’t resell it because I have a conscience… if only these guys did too.
