We paid a little over $600 to have our family cassette tapes digitized through Kodak, and the final product was honestly disappointing.
The turnaround was quick, and everything was delivered via Google Drive, but it was obvious the files weren’t reviewed before being sent out. There are long stretches of dead space, blue screens, and even sections with no audio at all. On top of that, some of the uploads still say “video is still processing” even months later.
If I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t pay this price. I’d probably just buy a converter and handle it myself for a fraction of the cost.
Overall, this felt like a 2–3 star experience.
