I have given bad review when Kiwi deserved but this time they deserve a good one as they did fulfill the price they have posted. It didn't take too much time. Thanks

I had a very good experience with Kiwi. The booking process was simple and intuitive, and I was able to find a very good price. Everything was clearly explained, and the interface is user-friendly. I especially liked the flexibility of options and how easy it was to compare flights. Overall, the service was reliable and efficient. I would definitely use Kiwi again for future trips.

I booked an international journey from Paris CDG to Lubumbashi FBM (booking 773246177) through Kiwi.com. Despite this being a single international itinerary spanning 2countries, Kiwi.com applied the most restrictive regional baggage allowance (1 x 23kg) to my final connecting segment (Kinshasa to Lubumbashi), instead of the internationally applicable allowance of 2 x 23kg.
Under IATA Resolution 302 (Most Significant Carrier rule) and the Montreal Convention (1999), the baggage allowance of the primary long-haul carrier governs the entire international journey. Kenya Airways, the primary carrier on this booking, formally confirmed in writing that my allowance is 2 x 23kg for the full itinerary under PNR YJKC48.
Despite presenting this written confirmation from Kenya Airways, Kiwi.com's customer service team, through multiple exchanges over 24 hours, refused to correct the error, hid behind a self-service disclaimer, and failed to honour a requested manager callback.
I will be travelling as planned and forced to pay $280 in excess baggage fees at Kinshasa airport, a cost that is the direct result of Kiwi.com's misclassification of an international journey as a regional one.
I have escalated this matter to the CEO, and will be filing formal complaints with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, the UK Civil Aviation Authority, and initiating a Mastercard chargeback.
I strongly caution any international traveller, particularly those transiting through African hubs, to verify their baggage allowance independently before booking through Kiwi.com. Their system does not correctly apply international aviation law to multi-segment itineraries. #Unacceptable.

I used Kiwi for my flight from Toulouse to CDG. The process was easy, and I got all my options clear, and the best I received my refund for my previous flight with no effort.

From my experience with Kiwi so far, it’s not the cheapest platform and tends to be more expensive than Skyscanner. I’d recommend checking different providers.

I bought tickets from Budapest to Pune (India) via Dubai with premium services for the disruption.
15th March, 2026 Budapest – Dubai - Carrier: Wizz Air Flight no: W62497
16th March Dubai – Pune - Carrier: Spicejet Flight no: SG52
Wizzair cancelled my flight at least a week before my departure, and I am asking Kiwi.com to reroute the whole trip as it becomes obvious that most carriers all over the world were cancelling their flights via Dubai, and the Dubai airport was closed because of the crisis in the Middle East.
And here, the most interesting part was happening. On my request for rerouting and flying via other countries, NOT VIA DUBAI because missiles are flying and killing people there, I received an answer from their Kiwi support system BOT – “Alternatives that do not involve DUBAI are not available under your current disruption options”.
The Bot emphasized twice that it was not possible to reroute, and I should fly again only via DUBAI!
On the fifth of March (the screenshot is added), I asked for the refund. Still nothing happened.
Eventually, my second flight, Dubai-Pune, was cancelled at the last minute. And I made a screenshot from their website and sent it to Kiwi. And here was another interesting part.
When I asked for the refund, they informed the next thing via Facebook Messenger by a live person after many complaints on the Kiwi Facebook page:
“Regarding the SpiceJet segment, records show the flight operated as scheduled, and under the fare rules, it is non-refundable. Since this segment was not confirmed cancelled in the airline’s system, Disruption Protection could not be applied.”
I asked them again to check the screenshot, as officially the flight was cancelled and it was on the website, then they gave me new lies and reasons –
“I want to clarify that we did not issue or confirm any alternative flight to Dubai. The Dubai–Pune segment you referenced was not a new routing; the airline updated the flight number from SG52 to SG5652, but operationally it was treated as the same flight on the same date.”
As a result, after two months, I do not have a refund, they deny that suggested to me the alternative to Dubai as the only option, and they deny the screenshot of my cancelled flight that was taken from the official website SpiceJet under the number I had to fly.
Obviously, I was not protected at all, and moreover, the only solution they gave me was to fly again via the country and the airport that was under missile attacks.
This company has already been sued in courts many times and is not ethical in its policies.
