No preparation (collars half in, clothes crumped, generally messy), no editing and very expensive.

Received proof photo which wasn't bad, so ordered download. Bit expensive for the price, but wanted a photo of his first year ar school. When I received the download, it was a completely different colour, so I emailed the company and I noticed my download was removed. 3 weeks later I still haven't received my photo and any response to several.email. Avoid!

I ordered photos from Kittle Photography with a promised delivery date of 23/10/2024. That date has long passed, and I still don’t have my order. I contacted them repeatedly, Web Chat is never manned, E-Mails seem like they go unanswered, and after ages, I finally got a response!... an offer to wait another 20+ days for a replacement order!

You’d think these photos were coming from the Far East… but no, they’re supposed to be shipped from Chelmsford! Pigeon post, maybe?

To make matters worse, when I asked for a refund due to the missed delivery, Kittle flat-out refused.

This lack of accountability and complete disregard for customers is astonishing. If you’re looking for reliable service (I Paid £50+ for a couple of sets including postage!), or even the bare minimum in customer care, steer clear of Kittle Photography.

Bunch of amateurs behind the desk has no qualifications for photo editing at all.

1 digital photo for £23 which is not edited, poorly coloured had to visually edited myself to look vibe.

Very disappointed and will encourage the school management to far away avoid this scammers.

Excellent service, made an error on ordering and this was easily rectified by the team! Had many photos from them before and always great quality!

I dread having to deal with photos through these guys every year, though I think all these school photo companies are equally as mercenary. They deliberately don't quite offer the right size/combination of photos you'd want so that you're forced to pay around £30. It hurts the wallet every time to get a decent copy, £16+ for one 7x5 photo is steep. No options to combine sibling photos in one packet, so you have to do the same thing in multiple. It would also help to be given an actual date by which to order photos with free delivery to school, instead of 21 days out in small print, as you get fleeced for more through that too.

I had my photos delivered to my son’s school, upon recieving them I realised a piece was missing.
They were so quick and happy to resolve. Everyone I dealt with was so lovely and polite, couldn’t do anymore for me.
I couldn’t recommend them enough. To top it off, the photos are amazing! Very happy!

Amateurs with a professional camera. Kids photos with hair sticking out. Price for a digital photo £24. Are you crazy? I'll talk to the school about changing company. This is ridiculous.

My son had his school photo taken recently as he has just started Sixth Form at a new school. The photo was not to a standard of a professional photo should have been. Not only was he told to be seated side ways concealing his school tie emblem. But he was not even looking at the camera! For a ‘professional’ photographer they should have noticed this and took an additional photo. These are memories for both the child and parent yet it was ruined due to the incompetent of the photographer. I have emailed them directly and even though customer service responded, I’m not hopeful they will take my feedback seriously. They seem to put the blame on the school for permitting only one photo to be taken. Seriously! You are a business, surely to provide a good service is to provide a good photo. I am deeply disappointed and why schools still use this company is beyond me as they are also expensive compared to other school photos.

The lighting is atrocious, the price extortionate even if it was a good picture. The way to order is ridiculous, you can't group pictures together so you have to pay delivery on every individual child. It's just generally appalling. I can take better pictures on my phone for free but we "have" to have the official school pictures purely for societal traditional.

Family pack - best value item.
Wish: in primary school, kids had photos together and separately. Not an option in secondary.
Good selection of options. Some seen v. Pricey though.
More mix and match eg gift cards, keyrings.
Class photo - kids are superimposed together so not for me.

So easy to order. I can never order online( I’m a novice). Order is always taken so easily and received in good time. Always friendly and helpful staff on the end of the phone, including today. We have been getting school photos from Kittle for the last 6 years and up until now they have been fantastic. However this years photo is of very poor quality, colour to colour mis-registration and very low definition in the faces, photo has a magenta tint overall, but when checking with other parents who received the same photo, ours is very much sub-standard, customer service say that the proof image is fine, that I can understand… my print however is terrible and they are refusing to replace the print … totally unacceptable and considering the cost of £20 a print this is almost bordering on daylight robbery!

kittle photographic are very good in helping in any situation they care about there customers i have used them for a few years now and never had any problems always very helpful if your not sure about anything they explain in detail so you understand what is being said i will always use kittle there photos come out beautiful very professional would let people family and friends know this is the company to use to get any type of pictures done

Slight disappointment with the books themselves: the print quality not as good as the proofs looked electronically, it's a bit over-exposed. Also, having compiled and viewed the proofs on a decent-sized monitor, the flimsy little A5 paperbacks looked tiny, particularly the collage pages with multiple photos on.

Given that they were originally supposedly £11.50 each, reduced with 'special discount' to £5.75, it seems the quality to price ratio is not quite justified.

My special needs son would not take a group photo, the photographer happily took one of him and put him into the group photo, the editing team did a fantastic job. I emailed/called to see if I could get a copy of the solo as well and they were amazing. Nothing was to much trouble. Callum Edwards the customer service advisor I liased with was fantastic, really professional and helpful, a real credit to the team.

We always use Kittle as we know they are reliable and accommodating! Their products are fantastic and their customer service is brilliant - thanks as always, we will be back next year!
