Fab experience, highly recommended
Fab experience. They offer fixed price repairs or servicing of the tools. Got my well used impact driver that I love, back looking like a new machine. I have 3 of their impact drivers, of different power outputs, and they are really good tools. Would recommend.

Longevity of Kielder products
Every time we have an issue with one of our Kielder products, we send it back for 'refurb' - it always comes back well done, so really happy with the refurb. Having said that, many of the Kielder products we use are used very well, daily. So the longevity of the products isn't as long as advertised.
Although a charge of £49.99 is a little dear - it makes us contemplate purchasing a new product altogether, as sometimes these products (from new don't last as long as they say on the tin!)
Might change brand altogether.

We're pleased that you are happy with the refurb service and the tools come back in good condition to you, as that is what we aim for with this service.
Having looked through the repair records, the tools are commonly returned in well used and very worn condition, for example the ratchet that was recently returned had a broken battery plate and other severely worn parts, which is not something we'd cover under warranty, We do however offer a comprehensive tool refurb for £49.95 inc VAT, shipping both ways and all parts and labour. For this we will completely overhaul the tool and replace all worn parts to prolong the service life.
We don't state how long a tool should last, as there are too many variables to consider, so we don't make claims of this nature. We offer a 3 year extended warranty and the terms and conditions of this can be found in the product manual and online. If the products are being returned in poor condition, because they've experienced a lot of use, then that is fine but we are unable to cover very worn, consumable parts and damage under the warranty.

5 Star best I've used.
I tried a couple impact wrenches and the Keilder Type18 high torque was by far the best. Was the only one that got my seized locking wheel nut off.
