It’s Harder Than You Think ...
It’s more difficult being a recruiter than most people realize. 200 plus candidates usually apply for some of these roles. Even though, I never landed a job through Julien [and thankfully so, because bigger opportunities have shown up which makes me no longer in the job market], Julien always put in the effort and made me feel the job was just within my reach, and really that’s all that matters in the world of recruiting.

I was contacted by Julien for a screening through an assessment form.
He was professional, informative and provided links to go through for extra information. The assessment was very straightforward with a smart approach which gives a chance for critical thinking. Unfortunately I wasn't selected for the next phase but Julien was very kind to point out the reasons for that, with the aim for improvement which is rare in my experience in applying for similar positions.

Loved the company but... they rejected me because I couldnt find enough creatives ways to get someone to meet Mark Zuckerberg so... I was applying to a BDR position, dont see the relation there! However best of lucks!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I thought this guys was joking!
I applied for a position through LinkedIn; I was sent to a page to complete "some questions". I passed this first stage. They sent me an email saying "
This second stage is an online form with two simple tests"... I completed it, even not knowing much about the product or compensation, of course, I had to watch jpnb's video on YouTube and just in general waste my time that I thought I was investing. Guess what? I recevied an email this morning, from Julien Nowak saying HE (not the customer for he was hiring) decided not to continue with my application: "Here is my feedback - No clear budget to the birthday presents question". The question was more or less "you have a budget of 700dls for a customer's bday gift, he likes a, b, y and Z, how do you spend the budget?". No right or wrong question. My proposal was to mix some of his likings, but added I would like to know more about customer (different personalities require different approach). So yeah... I was cut from an opportunity for the criteria of this guy. I'm seriously thinking to share this experience as a poll on LinkedIn, this was the most dissapointing and frustating experience. Being laid off is hard, but having to go through processes with this type of "agencies" make the experience even worst! TERRIBLE!!!!

Julien, has been very professional and responsive in the hiring process. Most of the companies wouldn't even care to get back at you if they decide not to push with the hiring process but he kept me informed and even let me know the reasons why I didn't get the role. It may be small things for others but for me it is something that I really appreciate because you get to know what went wrong and what needs improvement.
