Can't recall the exact date I went for feedback. I bought Turkish Lira.

Always easy and collection from local Waitrose is brilliant

Good experience - just a lot of 50 euro notes - would have been good to have more denominations included.

Great card from a great company, so easy to set up and use on the app.

My own mistake but I paid on a credit card for my foreign currency order online. This means I was charged a fee by John Lewis and also by my bank. It would be great if a reminder message could be displayed at point of payment, to warn of this. I appreciate it is in the ts & Cs, but its easy to miss.

It was very easy to order online and it was delivered the next day as promised

Great service, easy process and quick delivery. Easy to collect from Waitrose along with any shopping. The rate given is pretty good, although can always find a better rate if you’re willing to shop around and travel for collection.

Paid for the Home Emergency Service through Home Insurance. Got a leak in my kitchen. Water pouring through the ceiling. Called them tonight. Still on hold after 50 minutes. Tried contacting the company via the online chat but the person I contacted said they did not have the ability to contact the emergency team and his great advice was, try contacting a different service to get the problem fixed. So basically, don’t use our service which you pay for, use someone else if you want your problem dealt with.

After making the money order online I went to the Westfield (Shepherds Bush) branch to pick up my order, I was fully aware of the ID requirements ahead of time. My ID was rejected by staff because it was a provisional license and not a full driving license... this was not specified anywhere in the ID requirements and staff were rude and dismissive, wasted much of my time including travel. I came back the following day with my passport, and they (different staff) were slow and dumbfounded by their own equipment, and took issue with the fact that I paid using Apple Pay... after a lengthy session staff just gave up and let me have my money order as I was very clearly who I said I was.
Ridiculous service from unhelpful staff, no clear instructions regarding problematic technicalities - if provisional license and apple pay is an issue it should be made clear. Would be 1-star if not for a smooth online experience and having the order ready quickly for pick up. Why is the payment method available if it's "problematic"? Why can I vote and go to the bank with my ID but not pick up my order??

I am thoroughly fed up with my John Lewis Partnership Card. The benefit of receiving vouchers is wearing thin. Each month I spend roughly up to my credit limit then this is paid off in full by DD.
Nuisance #1: Quite often, in order to continue using the card near the end of the month I have to make a transfer from my bank account into the card account.
Nuisance #2: Even if a bank transfer is not needed my DD goes through and is shown as cleared immediately on my bank account. However it can take more than 3 days for it to “clear” in my card account. It sits there showing “processing your payment” for that time. Meanwhile I forget to use a different card and so get purchase declined.
Nuisance #3: NewDay Ltd, who process the JL card, refuse to increase my credit limit. Even if it were increased by only £250 that would solve a lot of problems, including those above. I phoned and was advised to reduce the credit limit on some of my other credit cards. I did this, by £3000, and waited 6 months, but still NewDay refused an increase. I have a good score on Experian, one of my cards has a much higher credit limit than my JL card (and has had it for longer than I’ve had the JL card). I followed the official complaint procedure and received a long letter but, to be honest, the explanation explained nothing and made no sense at all.
Is it because I’m retired? Because all my cards are paid off each month in full by DD? Because I don’t have a mortgage? I don’t know.
John Lewis – please get rid of NewDay Ltd and use a more amenable card processing company.
