Spin bikes not maintained
Wolverhampton gym. Three spin bikes not in a good state of repair. One: seat post wouldn’t lock. Two: resistance and display not working. Three: missing foot.
These are potentially dangerous. You need to check them more often.
No-one around to report them to, so what am I supposed to do?

Thanks for leaving us some feedback. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. If you can't see a member of staff, you can email the General Manager on wolverhampton@jdgyms.co.uk

Eurocarparks fines
First of all I'd like to say that this rating isn't for Jd gym Wolverhampton the gym itself is amazing, but my issue is with the carpark company eurocarparks... I will explain. I joined Jd gym In Wolverhampton on19/06/23 I wasn't told I had to input my registration in to the pad provided, i use to train late at night so there was no staff or clear signs inside the gym till recently. I ended up getting about 4 car park fines from Eurocarparks, I challenged the fines with the proof that was provided to me by the assistant manager (she was very helpful). After provided the evidence eurocarparks kept sending me fine reminder for one of the fines but the others were cleared. They have been harrasing me till this day and only recently they've sent me a letter from dcb legal to pay £170 or face further action. I have and will keep refusing to pay as I have showed clear proof that I was at the gym. If you could help me out further in this matter I would really appreciate it as I'm still a member at your gym and I wouldn't want to leave. Thank you

Information regarding parking at any of our clubs is available on the home page of the club, on the JD Gyms website. There is also signage in the gym, to make members aware of the parking procedures. There are certain gyms we have an affiliation with, but this is very few. If a fine is received at the gym, then we would suggest emailing the gym directly at wolverhampton@jdgyms.co.uk for further assistance.
Although it sounds as though they have helped as far as they re able to. Unfortunately we are unable to revoke parking fines. We can provide any evidence of your attendance at the gym though.

I am basing this review purely on the way that I was made to feel by a gym instructor of one of the classes. She spoke to me rudely which I was shocked by & she also singled me out. She did this in front of other class members and was really embarrassing. I really didn’t expect to feel like this especially from someone who works there. When I logged a complaint about this I never heard back from anyone, no apology or nothing. I received an acknowledgement regarding by complaint but that’s it so clearly nothing no action had been taken. All other class instructors are nice but she was the complete opposite.

At long last! A gym that listens
I enjoy the equipment and I love the way, this gym is considerate to ladies having seperate areas.
I love the changing room. The gym is well designed and well thought out. I needed something like this.

Clean and busy lots of machines and classes
I have only been once so far but seems a nice clean place, very busy too so must be a good place , can't wait to get back just so busy .

20 Some years later.
I have only been twice both sessions good for me,lots of equipment with information on how to use them.it looks a no fuss gym u just get on with your own thing. Its clean and spacious, very busy too.smartphone qr code entry/exit work really well 😕👍🏻👍🏻to all.

extend the classes timetable and clean mattress
I like to classes however it has becoming too full ! you should open more options and extend the current timetable.
I also suggest to have the mattress cleaned because the smell is not good.

Busy gym 24/7
No matter what time I go to the gym it’s crowded which is cool but because of the layout there’s not enough equipment for everybody.

I liked there is a ladies private gym
I liked there is a ladies private gym, however yeah it's a small but I liked it.
I hope if they add extra space, so we can play some exercises. I hope from the supervisor to check regularly the machines the one out of order.
For people who they joined newly, they need someone to guide and show them how the equipments are working.
Overall, JD gym is a good opportunity for everyone who is seeking for active and healthy life.Thanks JD Gym.
