⚠️BE CAREFUL DON'T BUY FROM HERE⚠️
Been running around in circles trying to a get a refund, that they refuse to issue, on a figure they haven't sent. Not to mention that after I placed the order, they CALLED MY PHONE ASKING FOR MORE MONEY cause they didn't estimate the shipping cost correctly??
The preorder got delayed but they still printed a shipping label and charged me, without even having the item. They attempted to 'resolve' this issue with a $5 coupon (laughable), on a $268 order. Now I'm in the process of a dispute between them and PayPal and they refuse to refund me until I close my support request. I am STILL within the process of this dispute as of this writing.
This is shady, untrustworthy, and unprofessional behavior and I warn you not to shop from here.
Edit: it is 3/29/2026 and I still haven't received a refund from them because they sent FALSE TRACKING INFO to PayPal
Update: it is 4/1/2026 and I still haven't received my refund. Addressing the reply from the seller, how is any of what you've done "in good faith?"
You've exploited me for additional shipping after my purchase. Going as far as calling my phone, when you should of been responsible for any errors that occur with the purchase. You wanted to deflect me asking for a refund by offering a 5 dollar voucher. Then offered store credit because for some reason you couldn't process a refund. At this point I felt unsafe about the interaction and it opened a dispute. You wanted me to cancel my dispute so that you could pay me via your "secondary PayPal account". You failed to provide on a purchase, it happens, but I shouldn't have resorted to opening a dispute to get my money back. Nor should I have my funds held ransom by you via "store credit."
Now I'm sitting here staring at the dispute with PayPal claiming that you provided tracking info on 3/26/2026. This is the false tracking info in question.

Regarding the pre-order delay, the release schedule was officially adjusted by the manufacturer. We informed you to confirm whether you wished to proceed with the order, and once you requested cancellation, we respected your decision. The discount voucher offered at that time was intended solely as a goodwill gesture in case you wished to reconsider, not to dismiss your concerns.
Following your cancellation request, we were prepared to process your refund. However, we encountered a pending technical limitation that temporarily restricted outgoing transactions. To avoid further delay, we proposed an alternative solution to issue the refund as store credit, but you did not agree, so we proposed to process the refund manually, which you also did not accept. You left a negative review and opened a dispute case on PayPal, so there was nothing further we could do, and we had to allow PayPal to handle the case.
Regarding your claim of “false tracking information,” we would like to clarify that no such information was submitted. The documentation we provided to PayPal clearly stated that the order had been cancelled and that the refund was pending due to account limitations. Supporting evidence, including cancellation confirmation, was also submitted accordingly. We have already sent you a complete record of all information shared with PayPal via your email, and there is no information related to any “false tracking information.” We ask that you please review the information you have provided in your public review.
At this stage, the matter has been resolved through PayPal. We have made every effort to handle your case responsibly within the constraints we faced, although we understand that this may not have aligned with your expectations.

I ordered an old product. Checked with customer service on the quality of the product and they got back to me really quickly. I did experience some issue with the tracking number but customer service got back to me in a day on that too.

Please know that as soon as we realized your dissatisfaction and your request for a refund, we immediately processed a full cancellation and refund for your order in our system. Under normal circumstances, a refund takes about 3–5 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing time. I suspect this delay might be why you felt the need to take further action.
Regarding the current status of your funds:
We have noticed that you have officially opened a chargeback through your card issuer. Please be aware that once a chargeback is initiated, the funds are automatically frozen by the bank and the payment gateway to undergo a formal investigation. This means we no longer have direct control over the money to speed up the process from our side.
I feel terrible that this situation has escalated to this point. It was never our intention to cause you any stress or make you feel misled. We value your trust, and I am deeply saddened that we lost it.

However they gave me the “opportunity” to repurchase the item I already purchased… at the higher price. I promptly declined because… what? Avoid this seller. 😕

AVOID: Cancels your orders to earn more money
Japan Figure will cancel your order if they can earn more money from it. I bought 2 boxes of Yu-Gi-Oh at £53.00 each, however because the price rose 2 days later worldwide, they pushed the price of each box to £94.00 and cancelled my order.
They then tried to give me £5 as a discount, or force me to BUY THE £94.00 (PER BOX) AFTER SAYING THEY HAD NO STOCK.
If a company will lie to you and try to scalp you, then you are better off going elsewhere. I saw the 4,000+ views and I thought I could trust them but they lied to me and then tried to force me to pay ridiculous amounts of money.
Go to another Japanese company instead.

Placed an order, then wrote them to add another item, took days, communication was poor and when I cancelled because of their inability to service the situation in a reasonable manner and time they charge me a cancellation fee. Poor service, poor attitude.

Scam! They ask for more money or they won't ship your order!
My previous review was taken down, so here we go again!
Scam! They ask for more money after placing the order!
I placed an order back in November because they had an item on sale, I had seen it on sale a couple of times and this time I decided to pull the trigger.
A week later Japan Figure reached to me asking for more money to ship my order, they said their price 'was a mistake', but it wasn't a mistake like the price is $100 USD and they had a price of $10 USD, which could be a typo, no, this was an item with a 40% discount during their sale event close to Thanksgiving. I asked for my order to be shipped and they refused and offered me a couple of dollars coupon, and when I refused, they just cancelled my order.
I have seen other reviews stating that Japan Figure does NOT honor their own prices, I don't know if this is some kind of scam or something, but I reported them to the Federal Trade Comission, so they can be blocked in the US if they continue this practice, I don't want another Nippon-Yasan or SideSevenExports situation with these guys.
