Do not get into an IVA until you talk to these guys at IVA.org.
I wish I was told this before my wife and I got into IVAs three years ago. My wife and I have been having so many problems with our IVA supervisor this year. We were not getting any responses to the questions we were asking them and we were stressing so much. I found IVA.org after doing a search online for help with dealing with our noncooperative IVA supervisors. My wife and I have spoken to Iain Wrenshall a couple of times. He has given us so much advice and so so much of his time in the last couple of months, this morning alone we spoke to him for almost two hours! He is so knowledgeable and good at explaining things(be sure to have a pen and notepad when you speak to these guys, you're going to want it because they are going to give you so much information)!!
We have been able to come up a plan thanks to Iain's advice and hopefully bring our issues to a positive conclusion. So if you're considering an IVA or if you're having issues while in one like me, call these guys, I can't recommend them enough.

I have has a very good conversion with Chris Wrenshaw. Very honest advise, didn't try to "sell" me. Turns out an IVA isn't my best option. I really would recommend this company for anyone struggling with debts.

I appreciate the time Chris took to explain things to me, what the impacts would be and more importantly the honest and easy to understand advise.

I would like to say from start to finish this company has been brilliant. I was in a really low place with the Dept increasing month by month and could not see a way out. For me the Dept just kept building over the last few years and I kinda buried my head in the sand with it but as it got bigger I got more and more stressed and depressed I felt like I’m never gonna get out of this trap. In the end I was around £36000 in Dept, I have a good job and I’m ashamed of my self for letting things get so out of hand. For me the turning point was that I’ve got my first child on the way and new I had to change my life and find some help as I just couldn’t cope anymore. After speaking with a few Iva companies I came across IVA.org and spoke with a nice chap called Ian. He went through all my options and was simply fantastic he gave me some great advise and after speaking to him a few times I new the Iva was the best way to go. Once the meeting was arranged with the creditors the case was then handled by Carly who was really nice and professional. I can’t recommend IVA.org enough. If your in a position like me and need help they are the company to be with. I’m so grateful to be able to have a fresh start. The creditors meeting was today and I got accepted. Thanks again to the whole team for all your help and support over the last couple of months.

Everyone borrows money. I was 50 and had ALWAYS paid it back. However, a collection of catastrophic financial issues happened in quick succession; divorce, legal fees, business cash flow issues, investment failure and the small matter of the pandemic. All conspired against me. I was in debt. Lots of it!

I was hounded by creditors, investors, and couldn’t afford the rising costs. I missed a payment here and there. Charges were levied. Interest went up. Then my income reduced and living costs went through the roof. The threatening letters all drove me to a very dark place where I found myself googling “how to tie a noose”. I was literally at rock bottom - I just couldn’t see anyway out but losing my home - the only thing I had left.

Fortunately for me I saw the IVA.org link and plucked up the courage to speak to the very brilliant and knowledgable Iain Wrenshall. He spent several phone calls putting me at ease and explaining patiently every step. Building the strategy to meet my objectives in saving my home and agreeing terms with all my creditors. We talked through all my concerns - particularly stopping bankruptcy.

I decided to go ahead - a few days later the letters and phone calls stopped. After a year of battles and ‘robbing Peter to pay Paul’ it was all out of my hands and managed by Iain and a team of excellent staff; Kieran, Drew and Leah. All worked calmly and knowledgeably to progress my case and deal with all creditors.

A year later and not only have I sorted IVA but had to renegotiate a Full and Final settlement and they took care of all of it. I’m finally free to move on.

I’m so very grateful to get the chance to restart my life with my new partner and out all the stress, hassle and sleepless nights and guilt behind me.

Just pick up the phone and call them. You won’t regret it. In a few short weeks you too can sleep and live again.

Fantastic company, was really apprehensive about speaking with them but Chris whom I spoke to was such a nice man and talked me through everything in great detail in a way that was easy for me to understand. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend using this company to anyone needing some friendly advice and you will not be pressured into anything you don't want as this is a non profit organisation whose sole purpose is to help its clients to make the right decision.

If you're thinking of doing an IVA  I can't recommend IVA.org  enough. From the first phone call with Iain I immediately felt a sense of relief and this was only amplified after speaking to Carly. Both so helpful and full of empathy for the situation I had found myself in. Every step of the IVA process was fully explained and I was kept upto date on every stage of it. Carly was great in helping to settle any nerves or stress I had over the decision. All conversation were friendly yet professional  which is essential when you're in situations like this and the phone call Carly made to me to advise of the final decision was, as cheesy as it sounds, life changing.
I no longer have the stress of wondering how to meet the minimum payment on high interest credit cards and loans etc. The relief of knowing I have just 1 payment and my debt is actually being paid off is priceless!

This company actually cares about their customers which is a rarity.
I embarrassingly posted a review for the wrong company but even though I didn't go through an IVA with this company, a really nice, friendly and helpful chap named Ian gave me a phone call with some amazing advice helping me unravel the confusion caused by the other company IVG. Ian was amazing with understanding my actual needs and what debt management plan might be best for me and the best ways to go about it and who to speak to. He then offered his services for the future also. Ian is a great employee and a great asset for a company to have and I can't thank him enough.

10/10 company that I hope I never have to use but if I do then these guys will be the first company I call.

Rang up to enquire, good advice given. Appointment booked the next day, full information, advice options available are explained thoroughly. Very professional and understanding team, just had my IVA approved recently. I am glad I made that phone call.

I finally found IVA.org after ringing a few pushy companies. Iain made time to listen and explain things clearly. So helpful and just a nice bloke. I decided an IVA was right for me. My case was then dealt by Carly, she was lovely and went through what I needed to submit. She regularly kept in touch to give me updates. If you have any hesitation about calling, then I can promise you just one phone call will help put your mind, mental health, anxiety at rest. I enquired with IVA.org as I was concerned about my financial situation and concerned that I may face difficulties should by situation change.

A gentleman named Iain had called following a website enquiry (within 24 hours) and took the time, nearing 90 minutes total, to carefully go through my financial situation, income, outgoings, variables, etc.

He provided valuable advice and recommended a solution other than an IVA, and passed personal contact details over to catch up once I have finalised the solution. There is a clear genuine level of care for each "client" (in quotation as they are a non-profit company), and this is reflected by the quality of advice, and care provided. Financial difficulties are not a comfortable topic to breach for many, however Iain had made talking about my problem easy, and completely free from judgement.

I would recommend that should you find yourself in financial difficulty and looking at various debt relief / management solutions, that IVA.org is the first place you should try. At the very least, they can help you make sense of your situation and if they believe an IVA is not for you, recommend a course of action to take.

was looking at changing my iva company and a guy called Ian here advised me not to and try and persevere with my current company, He could of took advantage and set up a new iva for me but he didnt instead he gave me some really good advice which was appreciated i just wish now i had signed up with these originally
