If I could give zero stars I would. They quoted me over $1300 to replace a tap. I got the job done by someone else for $150. they are a total rip off.
Two staff are so professional and explained patiently. They are helpful and effecient.

My wife called Irwin Plumbing in Brisbane for a quote on 2 dripping taps, a garden hose tap, and a laundry tap at an investment house. Paid $140 for the call-out and quote. The quote came back to my wife as I was overseas at $1,205 plus GST — for context, the tap part itself costs around $14 at Bunnings.
When I asked for the written quote to be emailed over (which I’d already paid for), it turned into 8 phone calls and 5 different staff members, all refusing to send it when I asked for a breakdown of the work. Eventually I got an email offering to refund the $140 if I dropped it and didn’t leave a review.
I finally got a mock up quote from someone else that itemised a 22 step process to replacing a garden tap!!! Bargain price of $800 for that!!!!
Rang SJK Collective. $200 all done including call out.
They came to inspect and potentially repair a leaking underground pipe. They quoted $1,750 (after discounts) to undertake a leak detection prior to quoting for the repair and making good. I was shocked having been verbally quoted around $400 with another organisation. Their plumber ridiculed the quote as it was "only verbal". I had the leak detection done the following day for $390 and the leak mended the day after.
After posting this review, the company contacted me. I explained the situation and they understood my concerns. They agreed to refund the call out fee.
We moved into a place end of May and we noticed pipes banging quite loudly after shutting off the taps, assuming it to be water hammer. So we called these guys to come and take a look, I was going to refill the air chambers but couldn't find the mains for the life of me. The 1st day they were supposed to come at 1pm, nobody showed up by 5, no phone call, so we call them and they say someone is on the way, then get another call maybe 20 mins later that person has a flat tyre and can't make it, reschedule for next day. Next day they rock up, have a quick look around, prepare a quote of 890 which I wrongly assumed was to fix the issue, no that quote was for them to inspect the issue and tell me what the problem was, supposedly pressure testing and "isolating mains", i'm not sure the guy actually turned the mains off because it was well hidden in a patch of weeds/grass and I was using water at home, never once saw any specialised "pressure testing equipment", he basically went around the house and turned the taps on and off a few times. He was here for about 1h 15mins total, and maybe spent 20mins in total in and around the house, and the rest of the time in his van preparing quotes. Eventually he gives the actual quote of installing water hammer arrestors at 2400, and that he was 90% sure it would work, in addition to the 890, at which point I said I was going to think about it. He then calls up his boss and immediately knocks the original 890 off and asks what concerns I have about the price, I say I'm going to get a few more quotes. 2 days later, I find the mains in said patch of grass, refill air chambers, and the water hammer is gone. So basically they charged me 890 to tell me something I already knew. Didn't offer to refill air chambers as an option, you would think it's the least they can do for 890, oh and of course they recommended replacing the hot water system because "it's old", for a small fee of $8-9k, irrelevant to the reason we called them.
Ryan was excellent thru out the entire repairing of the leak
