Ordered a Pearl roadster drum throne online and received within 2 days. Not only was the service brilliant, but they blew all other competitors out of the water on the price. Will definitely be shopping with them again. Highly recommended.

Ordered a spider capo from the sound shop online. It was €20 cheaper than anywhere else (including gear4music and thomann). Arrived 2 days after ordering, great service.

Excellent shop. They've done such a good job of maintaining a physical store with a competitive online market place. I use them very regularly and no complaints

I am sure all the members of staff at the Soundshop are fantastic people, but the guy Jonathon who served us is something else. We bought a guitar, needed to exchange it (nothing wrong with the guitar), and then needed to exchange the second one, (again, not because there was anything at fault with the guitar.) These exchanges were because the guitar is for a disabled guy (my brother) and the guitar needed to suit his unusual needs, one of which is playing a right handed guitar left handed. (That is not a disability, but just an extra hurdle). Throughout the experience, Jonathon has not only demonstrated very knowledgeable and completely professional service, he has also displayed the level of patience, empathy and consideration that this customer needed, to get through what was, for him, a stressful time. The shop is an Aladdin's cave filled with musical treasures, but the in-store service is something I don't think I have ever experienced before (and I am an old bloke). The model we ended up with is just right too.

Do yourself a favour and visit the place.

My son visited The Sound Shop at the weekend after seeing a guitar he liked the look of on their website. We were greeted by John who immediately started chatting with us and got the measure of my son's tastes and requirements within a few minutes.

John was a treasure trove of advice and knowledge and very attentive the whole time we were there.

Having worked out what my son wanted John guided us with honesty and expertise resulting in us leaving the shop with exactly the right guitar and a deal we were all happy with.

We will absolutely return to The Sound Shop. John is an extremely professional and experienced guy and I suspect we only scratched the surface of his wealth of knowledge in all things music related.

Bought a bouzouki case from Soundshop recently. It was too small. My fault entirely. Adam did everything in his power to resolve this for me with numerous emails and phone calls. I can’t speak highly enough of his friendly professionalism.

I always use SoundShop. Very fast delivery. Anytime I made a mistake on an order they graciously helped and sorted it very quickly. Prices are also very fair. Go no further 😁

I dealt with Jonathan recently and he was very warm & friendly, very good humoured , well spoken and most importantly, he was really helpful and sorted my issue immediately.

Really speedy deliveries, big or small

I was given a gift of a 5 string banjo ( purchased at Sound Shop) recently)
I purchased a case and tuner there but unfortunately had difficulty tuning same.
I took it to Sound Shop and asked amber of staff to tune it but was met with negative comments and no tuning. I believe tuning by experienced staff inusic store should take less than minutes and identify the problem I had. I immediately left the store and took both to music store in Blackrock, Dundalk
Staff there took about 3 m8nutes to tune and identified problem....? Faulty tuner
I then purchased new tuner from them...would never Shop in Sound Shop again

I haven’t left a review in years, but this one’s well deserved — SoundShop.ie, and Adam in particular, were absolutely top class.

One of my brand-new RCF NXL 14-A speakers packed it in after very little use. I figured this would be a pain to sort, like most warranty issues usually are, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Adam came back to me quickly, couldn’t have been easier to deal with, and handled everything from start to finish. He got in touch with RCF directly, kept me fully in the loop, and within days had arranged a replacement amp under warranty.

There was no messing, no vague replies, just straight-up communication and a real effort to get it sorted. They even offered to collect the speaker if needed. I’ve dealt with plenty of audio shops over the years, and honestly, this was in a different league.

Genuinely couldn’t have asked for better. I wouldn’t go anywhere else after this.

I placed the order in the evening around 5 or 6pm, my parcel arrived the next morning at 8:30am,excellent.

Ordered my items at 7am Wednesday, arrived 8am Thursday. Amazing service. Will shop again.

Bought an LX-5 Digital Piano. Had a slight problem. They were extremely helpful and resolved everything very quickly. Fast email responses and easy to deal with

order a music book for my daughters violin exam on 4th April, got an email to say on hold till receive payment, The payment was made by credit card on same date. Now the 14th April and nothing. Emailed to enquire when I would get delivery. Music exam on 29th April and no book, Very uphappy

Great service, they reached out to keep me posted on the progress of my order and everything arrived on time and as expected
