The man at the top should be sacked now.

This is the worst company I have known, they should be ashamed to call themselves a company. You can't e-mail them, you can't do a live chat with them and you can't call them on the phone, an absolute disgrace. I found it impossible to register for an account with them, why this is so, I don't know, I can't get a reply from them. I will never ever purchase anything from them again.

IKEA committing fraud.

Ikea Spain are actually committing fraud by taking payment for goods, not delivering them and then refusing to do anything about it, hoping you'll buy the same items from them twice. This is illegal conduct and they should be prosecuted. Truely, criminal behavior, driven by their greed.

Sat home all day every day for 5 days…

Sat home all day every day for 5 days for a delivery "estimated" each and every day. Failed to deliver and zero explanation. Complained to IKEA and just repeated back the same rubbish on their delivery website which I am perfectly capable of reading myself. The wash their hands of any responsibility and say to contact THEIR contractor. Yes you guessed it, their contractor does not answer any enquiries and just regurgatates the same unrealiable forecast each day.

Delivery was promised 3 times waited all day over 2 weeks in the morning get an email stating it will be delivered between 9 am - 3 pm today at 3:10 pm get an email stating delivery could not be made. and it all starts again 3 more times repeated. They offered a refund but I want the items. That is what they want though as I don't seem to want to deliver to rural areas

Do not use Ikea's delivery service.

Do not use their delivery service.

They, in fact, have no idea when items will be delivered. The date/time they give is an estimate and may not be honoured.

They don't tell you that and they don't allow you to change this "estimated" date/time either.

And so you wait in all day for the delivery, and it doesn't arrive, customer service tell you they don't care, that it was just an "estimate", and they will not give you a new delivery time.

So my huge, expensive, paid for order still says it will be delivered yesterday and no-one has given me any updated information.

Appalling service. Ikea never used to be like this. I always trusted them and they were extremely helpful.

Double check your items

I have had two deliverys that have been successful.
another one I waited in all day to be told the delivery guy didn't get an answer at the door.
this never happen .
One word of warning please check you have all your items .
My delivery slot was from 10am to 18hrs .
The two delivery guys didn't turn up until 9pm when I was asking is the chair is the the .. .. blah blah blah there .
the delivery guy was abrupt with me and a bit rude walking away speaking loudly in Spanish.
The other younger delivery guy was lovely if it was he who was calling the shots I'm sure all would have been fine.
I was a bit flustered hence to say I lost two items .
Thankfully they were only curtains poles but it could have been something more valuable so take your time tick each thing off.
No No No i definitely wont be ordering from ikea again quite a stressful experience.
You can't get in touch with anyone by email and to call was £2. 75 per min joke 😒

Don't buy Havsta units - stains appear

My wife is a fan of Ikea and has been on the odd shopping trip to Murcia so when she decided we needed new dining room furniture, that's where it came from. The table and chairs were quite good and the other unit was Havsta Combi Armario which is a white painted wood unit (2 piece with glass doors).
I reluctantly had to agree it looked quite good.
However, after a few months brownish/yellowish marks started to appear all over and we couldn't figure out what it was. Seemed like some sort of reaction to sunlight (we had used nothing to clean it so couldn't have been that).
I contacted them via Twitter and they were very helpful and responsive and immediately arranged replacements after seeing the photos (more bloody assembly). The replacement arrived slightly damaged but we accepted as no marks.
But, 2 months later the marks started to appear again, some worse than before. I had already told them that I suspected it was something in the process, maybe a coating or glue to cover defects prior to painting.
Now, being pretty pi**ed off, I sent more photos and the explanation came back, as it's natural wood you have to expect this (resin coming out of the wood).
So, if anyone is considering buying painted wood units from Ikea, best keep them out of the light. We'll have to repaint as you can see from just this one photo of one mark.
Here's their explanation word for word.
"We have checked the problem with our quality colleagues. They tell us that the HAVSTA furniture is made of solid, natural wood and that the yellowish stains come from the resin in the wood. Furthermore, as you can see in the photos, it is more likely that they are coming out of the wood grain. If the furniture is exposed to a lot of sunlight, it takes less time for the stains to appear. Therefore, we do not consider this to be a quality defect, but rather a natural part of the wood. Good day!"

The worst.

The worst.. delivered to the wrong place, why do they ask for id number at the time of purchase then?
Later I ordered a bunch of stuff and i was missing a shoe rack, since I didnt opened it in front if the delivery man they said they couldn’t do anything. Who the hell opens the package in front of the delivery man?? Like you’re suppose to trust them.. well, there goes 70 euro

Ikea couldn't care less about its…

Ikea couldn't care less about its customers, checked its website this morning open as usual drove for one hour to IKEA all locked up seemingly it a bank holiday in Murcia
If you can't trust thier opening times on their website how can you shop there what a waste of time and petrol
Won't be taking a chance going back their again.

After visiting the Ikea store in Murcia to show customer service a top cover for a sofa stool that had a dis-colouration line around the complete base of the fabric after we had the furniture for six month old and the stool hae been covered with a throw to keep it clean, IKEA customer service said it was bleach. As if you would go round the bottom edge with bleach. This clearly a cheap fabric from china or india. I got no where with this complaint. I will never buy anything else from Ikea and I will comtinue to tell my friends and anyone else the buys from Ikea The customers team are un skilled and do not know how to deal with paying customers. I will continue to use socia media to state my complaint as Ikea is not interested.

Holiday complications by IKEA

I bought a sofa via IKEA Spanish website on 15.07.22. The delivery was arranged for 09.08.22. I was sent emails with the delivery confirmation including one on 08.08.22. So, I arranged my old sofa to be thrown away to make space for the new one. Unfortunately, three hours before the scheduled delivery time, I was sent a message that it was rescheduled for 20.08.22. The problem is that the flat I ordered the sofa for is my holiday flat and I was planning to leave on that day. I tried to contact Ikea client service in Spain. So far, I haven't been given a plausible excuse for the inconvenience. Why do you confirm the delivery and then cancell it just a few hours before the scheduled time? Why do your client service managers promise to solve the problem and call you but do nothing? Do you think this is the way to treat the customers?

Wrong articles, missing items, terrible support

I bought a sofa in store and the armrest came with the wrong colour. I ordered a trash can with click and collect and it came without handles. Not mentioning that the scheduled time for delivery was 18:00 - 22:00 and they came at 13:00.

I went to the store (Barcelona) to get the handles and they said they don't have the pieces (I saw 3 in the store, liars).

The only way to contact them is by calling and they don't offer support in English.

Thank you IKEA.

I placed my order online on 20. July.2022 and they emailed me saying delivery date is 22.July.2022 i waited all day and at 14:00h the delivery man sent a message note to Ikea that delivery unsuccessful. At 16:00 i foned Ikea customer service and the woman just said its the delivery man cannot find your address so you must contact him its company name INVIALIA. I was furious because she doesn't want to followup the delivery man herself so I asked her what is the mobile number of the delivery man? then the customer service woman gave me a different number. I also asked her to tell the delivery man to call me when he is in the area so i can meet him whereever he park rather than go send message to Ikea and easily say he could not find the address. So i think this is a fraud because the Ikea company incouraged shoppers to shop online for delivery charge is only €2 now after you paid they want to wash hands and instead asked buyers to follow up themselves to the delivery company. Now 23.July.2022 @11:00h i contacted customer service Ikea the machine asked if you are a company then asked again if you want in English press 5 then when someone picked up the phone the woman refused to talk because she cannot speak english, instead she asked my fone number and hangup, Sent me SMS saying english speaker will contact me shortly, now is 11:52 no one is contacting me, unbelievable. They are not worthy to represent Ikea because IKEA in Scandivia has never been so unprofessional like this and never been so ineffecient like this very frustrating. And the worst part i tried to trace the company of the delivery via Google and the number the listed in thier site is non reachable.

Terrible

Terrible. Simply impossible to get a complete order correctly delivered.
The "repartidor" always blames the missing items on Ikea. Sooooo painful to receive an order that it is a joke. If it weren't for their prices, I would completely rule out even purchasing their products in the Canaries. They will send you an e-mail re an "incidencia" fully absent an itemization of the items missing, but then, nothing happens.
You can spend as many hours as you wish calling in an attempt to get a REPLY as to the status of the items you ordered & PAID FOR but usually no one answers.
TRULY AWFUL SERVICE. COMPLETE BREAKDOWN IN LOGISTICS.
As it stands, I am out a sofa, mattress & other items. No idea when/if they will be delivered. God willing I can somehow get a reimbursement & take my business elsewhere.

Three visits to measure 5weeks still no worktops

Three visits to have my worktops measured 1st they sentsomeone who could not measure for the material I had ordered 2nd to remeasure 3rd having had my builder at my house to supervisor the measurements they came with the worktops and the had cut out the sink in wrong location!! So 5 weeks later I am without a worktops I have to use the sink in my bathroom to wash dishes and without a cooker hob ! The company is a disaster which is such a shame as the quality is good .

IKEA is the worst experience ever. Denounced and taken to Facua

IKEA didn't deliver when they were supposed to, I waited all day on the delivery day, nothing. I'd been called and told the delivery driver I was in at home waiting for their delivery then they just didn't turn up. To add insult to injury then Ikea sent me something saying I'd been out when they tried to deliver and had the cheek to say I'd have to pay another €19.90 to get my stuff delivered. I was so furious I said I'd cancel the order to which they replied I'd have to pay the €19.90 to cancel the order! I just said there's no way I'm paying more because they wasted a whole day of mine and didn't turn up! I'm taking this to Facua the organisation that deals with consumer issues and takes legal actions for members. I suggest people with similar experiences join this organisation and do the same. Whatever you do don't stand for it - it's robbery and abuse! The way IKEA is treating its customers is absolutely disgusting. Really corrupt.

Never buy a fitting service with Ikea

Never buy a fitting service with Ikea, 3 failed appointment, waited 2 weeks or more in between appointments. They say sorry but that doesn't cut the
muster after 6 weeks decided it was quicker to get a fitter from the UK to install. We await IKEA (MURCIA) to compensate us for no kitchen.....................
