There internet system is the worst I have ever had to deal with, no customer support. I would never recommend or use this bank for any finance in the future

Easy to setup

Easy to setup - Non existent customer service after the fact.
We set up an account in our correct house number which 15. A welcome letter was then sent to 15 and we received our IKEA delivery to number 15. Randomly when logging on to my online account it shows that the house number has been changed to 13. There's no way to change it so emailed customer services who asked me to provide details which I did. The next advisor then emailed me back telling me how to view my account online!? I've tried to raise a complaint on their website on two separate devices yet each time you click on the submit button it doesn't go anywhere so not the easiest to deal with.

It was a stress free simple process…

It was a stress free simple process throughout the payment process which I did via direct debit. Everything went to plan from start to finish. The Banks communication was very good. I also received regular updates of my payments/balance of our loan throughout the loan period. I would definitely use Ikano Bank again and recommend to Family & Friends

Discriminate against digital poverty

I have a series of missed/late payments due to the bank being ‘self service’ - I could speak to customer services but they would not update my direct debit date to coincide with my monthly wage as it is a ‘self service only’ bank?? I could not change the date myself as I had an older iPhone that wasn’t compatible with their app. Their only suggestion was to use someone else’s computer or phone which I eventually did. I filed a complaint and have heard nothing from them.

Ikano contacted me after this review but when I call back the lines are closed in the middle of the afternoon on a week day. I have replied to emails asking to confirm my details.. nothing further. I’ll keep trying to call back. What a frustrating system.

no customer service

Purchased a kitchen from ikea with zero finance from Ikano bank. Very bad customer service from ikea and now its three months with no reply After complaining to the Bank The list is so long on the bad fitting from ikea and Ikano just dont give a dam

Horrid company

This is a horrible, ignorant, dodgy company. Untrustworthy and unprofessional.
I contacted them via email asking them to stop calling me due to health reasons, and asked them to communicate via email. They carried on calling, which is a breach of GDPR.
They've continually added on charges whilst knowing full well I was experiencing financial difficulty. They also edited MY letter that I sent to them, and then proceeded to ignore me altogether, whilst STILL adding on insane penalty charges.
Why do companies like this not realise that they're more likely to actually get their money if they stop adding on insane, unreasonable charges?
I hate them.

They are so helpful and answer all my questions

They are so helpful and answer the phone with a lovely happy voice well every time I have rang up and when you suffer bad with mental health a happy voice at the other end of phone is nice highly recommended
