A truly exceptional experience

My experience with ICA has been exceptional. The instruction has made me feel comfortable with starting on this new adventure . It has also made me feel confident I can provide a good product to my clients and truly be of assistance to them . Our in person instructor Jeff Lisse really took hi tim e to explain our responsibilities and gave us the tools needed to start off on the right foot. I truly do appreceate all his time and effort he poured in to the class.

I was able to go thru the course at with no major issues. I previously went through the course with my brother but did not have the funds to pay at that time. That help me a lot to finish faster.

I was able to go thru the course at home on my own time. Viewing the module over and over help to jog my memory for the quizzes and Exam. ICA does a good job with keeping those who are challenged with up to date information on home inspections and how to become a professional in this field. All of the extra certified modules really help exposed what is currently in the home inspections that can be found today.

Highly recommend ICA

I finished the class today and I can tell you that the information Pete gave made it easy to understand and I truly learned a lot. I can’t wait to take what I learned and put it in use in the field. Pete made the class fun and is very personable with you and can make the whole class laugh as well which is important! I would totally recommend ICA to anyone wanting to learn about the inspection field!

The Classroom and On-site training days were AWESOME!

I have really enjoyed the training for Home Inspection. I have lots of experience with what I call "House mechanical" HVAC, Plumbing, electrical, and drainage. I still learned many things and how to present them to a client. I really enjoyed the Classroom / On-site actual viewing and instruction. Jeff did a great job explaining how the make the best of your time in inspection and what to Do/Don't say.

I signed up for taking the course to…

I signed up for taking the course to receive my residential home inspectors license. Shortly after I ended up going through some medical problems that pulled me away from proceeding the course. It is still no longer an option for me. They have a 5 day refund policy and I was not able to contact them until now 3 mo. later for a refund. Yes I know however Mr. Elliot was extremely rude. And now my tuition is a donation.

Support system is very poor.

I think that the overall experience is informative. Very informative! Could have done much better with the virtual inspections. Very very short and never understood the point they were trying to make. Also, I have had a very hard time trying to speak with someone pertaining to ANY questions I had. ICA reached out to me several time repeatedly every day until I purchased the course. Then they just fell off the face of the earth. I could not get ahold of or speak to ANYONE. And this was after at least 18 attempts over a week period. I finally got someone yesterday, 10-08-24. A representative understood my concerns and tried to help me. But it shouldn’t have taken all that to get help😤 Its like when they got my money I was completely left out in the cold. I really feel like this program is a money grab bc of how I been treated. But the information is given to learn. And you learn at your own pace. Which is wonderful. But the support system sucks. At least from my own experience. I still have to take the National exam. So I will write another review afterwards about my overall experience and the program as a whole to prepare for the National exam. But as of today, 10-09-24, my experience has been very poor & I have no support system for my questions or concerns I may have.

Meeting Floyd was the by far the best…

Meeting Floyd was the by far the best thing I could have happen to me getting started in this field. His unique style of education and combining it with his years of experience was far better than anything I could have paid for. Him and his awesome wife Sandra are a team that you can never forget and I will forever be grateful to the time the put into creating a course that not only teaches the material but the why behind the material. Thank you forever more!

Steve Sheldon was fantastic

Steve Sheldon was fantastic! He did a great job at knowing when he gave us information that needed a bit more explanation and when he had given us to much and we needed a break to digest it. Me not knowing anything about home inspections feel like I now have a good working understanding of how everything comes together. He gave us real world examples and suggestions on tool brands to not use due to quality.

The modules so far are far less engaging than Steve. They give you a ton of information but they are very dry. They very simple to understand and spoken clearly but they are not as engaging as the in person class.
