My learning experience has been very informative due to: detailed explanations on how to and what to write on reports and the importance of standard of practice. I find everything very interesting and I like all of it. I’m looking forward to adding to the knowledge and experience that I already have.

This entire course has been very informative the lessons go through everything bit by bit so you understand exactly what you're looking for what you're trying to do and how to properly assess what you're supposed to be doing honestly if it wasn't for this course I think the only other way to gain experience would be Hands-On learning but even then going in blinds not a good idea this is a great way to get your foot in the door

I can’t imagine taking the class with any other instructors outside of Floyd and Sandra! This was a class I’ll truly never forget and that will impact me every day of my career! This class wasn’t just about learning the information needed for the test, yet about gaining WISDOM needed for your career!

Floyd is an instructor, motivational speaker, sensei, and guru all in one lol! The way he delivers his wealth of knowledge is one in which helps make the information stick! Regardless of your learning style, your age, or your past experiences! Our class was small but I’m grateful for Floyd and Sandra for still hosting us and pushing us through! There were guys in our class from age 19 to late 40s! Guys in the industry and guys new to it. There were even those who had taken other classes with other companies and previously failed the test. The consensus was the same, this was the best possible class any of us could’ve been in! And we left ready, amped, and prepared for the test and the next phase of our careers.

If you’re looking for instructors who not only know the business, know their information, know the industry, and know how to teach and give the information in a way that truly prepares you for the test and your career…look no further! Floyd and Sandra are the best in the biz!

Im extremely happy I got Mr Floyd for this course for the first to last day you coul tell how much he care for our success and he made us fell like family while preparing us for the exam.

I took the ICA class in my state. The materials used were inconsistent and contained errors. For exam prep, multiple versions of quizzes and tests with errors and inconsistencies. Some correct answers directly conflicted with the slides. The instructors are forced to use the ICA materials and not change them. Instead of studying, I'm trying to track down what the right answers are.

This experience was above and beyond any of my expectations. ICA, Sandra and Floyd are now part of my family. Floyd was far and away the best instructor that I have had the pleasure of learning from. Sandra made sure that we had every resource that she could find to educate us on Home Inspection and prepare us for our licensing exam. Floyd not only explained things to the class in every way that he could so that each of us with different backgrounds understood the processes and components but, he made our time spent together fun and entertaining. He told us day 1 that we are all family now and Sandra and Floyd made everyone in class feel that way from day 1. I would recommend them 10 out of 10 times and look forward to continuing education classes with them. Thank you Sandra, Floyd and ICA.

I went into this course thinking it would be ten days of lectures; dry power-points, a lot of notes, and hopefully enough information to help me pass the National Home Inspector Exam. From day one, it was clear that this class was going to be something completely different.

Floyd has an incredible ability to take material straight from a power-point and turn it into something engaging, interesting, and memorable. Through personal stories, real-world experience, and plenty of humor, he made complex topics click in a way for me no other study method ever has. I retained more information in this class than I ever expected to.

I’ve already been performing home inspections for about a year, so I honestly thought there wasn’t much more I could learn about the inspection process itself. I couldn’t have been more wrong. There are so many things I’ll be doing differently moving forward, and more importantly, he taught me how to trust myself and be confident in what I’m saying as an inspector.

It genuinely feels like I was meant to take this class when I did. Not only because of Floyd, but because of the group of students I took it with. I’m grateful to have met them at this point in my life. They are some of the smartest, funniest, and most genuine people I’ve met, and I have no doubt we’ll stay connected. With all of our different backgrounds and life experiences, I know there’s so much we can continue to learn from one another, and I’m excited to see where their home inspection journeys lead.

I have no doubt that I’ll pass the exam now, but even more than that, I’m proud to say I feel like a better home inspector because of this class.

ICA was beyond what I expected. It wasn’t just sitting in a classroom all day long with the instructor trying to cram your brain with useful information. Or while in field training, you were only being shown what was wrong with the home. The instructor took everyone of us under his wing. Treated us like family. Educated and explained home inspection in a way that made all of us listen, ask questions and want to truly know what it takes to be a knowledgeable home inspector. I am going into home inspection with confidence and knowing that I have made a new family with the ICA team.

The online classes were really informative. After doing the online portion, I felt like I had a good start. In the classroom Mr. Gibbs did an amazing job bringing it all together with his wealth of knowledge and experience! His emphasis on doing inspections with integrity and helping families to have a safe home was really inspiring. He gave me the confidence to get out and start a rewarding new business.

I went into Mr and Ms Gibbs class with a completely different mind set than I left with. They gave me a better understanding of inspections and the business and I left more excited than I thought I would.

I was hesitant to register for the course due to the fact the classes would last 5 hours per night. I would’ve definitely regretted it if I didn’t do it. Instructor Dave made it go so well and quick that he makes it feel back high school again. Thanks Dave

I was a bit nervous prior to the clsss, it was a tremendous amount of information in a compressed time frame. The he class was great and the atmosphere was a great learning experience. The information was concord on point an easy to understand. Our instructor Rob was experienced in the field, patient with our questions and extremely well versed and his insights were greatly appreciated

ICA comes highly recommended from enrollment through to the final day of the course. A wealth of information and materials is provided from the very beginning. Although the schedule was intensive and at times overwhelming due to the volume of content, Instructor Robert’s 20+ years of experience in Home Inspection proved invaluable. His expertise allowed him to articulate the material clearly, provide additional clarification when needed, and supplement lessons with practical examples. He was punctual, professional, and ensured that no time was wasted throughout the course. Great class!

I had a very good experience with this class! I opted for the 11-day option, which meant 10 hours a day. It was a lot, but my instructor Chris still made it engaging and fruitful the whole way through. He brought a lot of energy and drive to the class, and had loads of knowledge and experience to share. Chris is a meticulous person, whose passion is producing dedicated, thorough, and ethical inspectors, to which end he commits a lot of his personal time and energy for free. He also handled the online classroom well, answering questions promptly and helpfully, giving us adequate breaks, and staying on task. And crucially, he kept the whole process fun; he took a lot of the stress out of the journey. Thanks Chris!

The school itself also has good offerings, with deals for mold, radon, sewer scope, and more kinds of inspections. Personally I find that to be of huge value, since it gives me more opportunities to expand my inspection business, and improve my knowledge. Its offerings for the Home Inspector Pro trial and the Edcelerate community are also valuable. With the quality/quantity of instruction, the smooth process, and the addons, I see little reason to go anywhere else.

ICA is a scam. Their course materials are an outdated, infuriating waste of money. Their entire course is a joke, and they know it.

The “platform” is basically a crappy WordPress site where you’re locked into 2–3 hour videos with no controls except play and a 10-second rewind. No fast forward, no playback speed, no resume. If life happens and you stop halfway? Too bad — you’re forced to rewatch HOURS just to move forward. It’s designed to waste your time, not teach you.

Their “textbook” sections are even worse — literally just scanned images of pages. You can’t search, highlight, or copy anything. It’s like staring at a bad photocopy. That is not education, that’s laziness.

And here’s the kicker: when I called to schedule my in-person hours, their own rep admitted it: “Yeah, we do recommend going through as much of the material as you can before, but I do understand our materials are incredibly frustrating.” Let that sink in. Even their staff knows this thing is garbage.

For the money they charge, this is outright theft. Do not waste your time, your patience, or your career goals on ICA. They hide behind fake professionalism, but the product is trash and they know it.

I highly recommend ICA home inspections. I started the course being unemployed and had to get a job for survival. Im thankful that I can do the course at my own pace to get my certifications. The courses are very informative.

As someone who learns more from hands-on type of learning ICA’s material they gave me to learn from was geared towards learning made easy. You definitely get out what you put in. Really liked you can go at your own pace and still learn from the classes. Now I’m real close to starting my own career on my new life and ICA played a big part in that. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting change what they are doing to make money and enjoy time with there family.

Floyd’s background in home construction and 26 years of home inspection provided us with a comprehensive background in the home inspection trade.
