This course has excellent, well explained content. I bought this course to be a better real estate investor - so I understand what I am looking at when viewing a property. I'm about a quarter of the way through the classes and feel like it has already paid off! I'm learning a lot. The material is planned well and many photos are used to explain the concepts.

The classroom experience was very pleasant and helpful. Mike was very engaging and enthusiastic. He shared many of his work experiences and hints for the inspector exam preparation.
The classes were well worth it.

I like the videos and pictures but too much reading.

Thought it was very good hands-on learning experience. Would highly recommend students that attend to have fully completed the course prior to experiencing the hands-on field days. It will bring all you have learned into a practical perspective. The instructors were great, very approachable with a wealth of hands-on knowledge.
Would love to have a 3rd day to fine-tune some report writing techniques.
Would recommend this to all students!

Just started and so far i absolutely love this course. This home inspection course is easy to understand and very detailed oriented . I look forward to finishing it.

My experience with ICA has been phenomenal! My husband and I are the owners/operators of a general contracting business and were looking to deversify our company. The course material is very comprehensive and educational. They take the time to really explain things. The virtual inspection videos are awesome... they help to give a more complete picture and understanding of the home inspection process(Patrick is great!) I highly recommend ICA. I have zero regrets!

While not completed with all modules and courses, I am well over halfway through and it is quite apparent that ICA has a very well class structure, and interpretation of the necessities for a potential home inspector class, and has covered not just the minimum; but exceeded the standards, and goes above the needed criteria.
The courses are well laid out, well documented, and pictures are plentiful, and easy to understand.
The course instructor reads through the material at an even-kiltered rhythm pattern, and phonetically easy to follow.

If you ever want to feel like you're being taught by your best friend, or family, or people that genuinely care about you like you're family, or their best friend..Then look no further. Floyd and Sandra Gibbs are those teachers. I just finished my 80 hour hands on portion of the home inspection course, and can honestly say that I've never left a class so motivated before. Floyd's teaching style caters to literally everyone, regardless of life experience, knowledge and confidence. What a great course, taught by arguably the best instructors that could teach it. VERY HIGHLY recommended.

This program teaches complicated material in a way that planted it in my brain on a cellular, experiential level. In the classrom and field, Floyd & Sandra Gibbs made me feel seen, valued, and like family. Not to mention the endless enthusiasm, creativity, and fuel Floyd brings to the classroom making the work interesting and fun. They drew on our strengths and gave us tools to convert our challenges into more strengths. This positivity bonded us together in cheering and supporting eachother's learning. A wonderful growth spurt.

Excellent training program with great instruction. Our instructors, Russ and Kim were very helpful and made the 3 day program very enjoyable and very informative. The online portion of the class is also easy to navigate.
One thing I would recommend improvement on is the layout of paper forms. It can be a confusing process to get used to due to the layout.

It has been a phenomenal experience learning and preparing for my certification. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity the process has been life changing.

I enrolled in the 80 hour home inspection training to satisfy my 80 hours of field training for the state of North Carolina. My instructor was Floyd Gibbs and his wife Sandra. I learned so much in the 10 days that I am positive I can pass the upcoming state exam. Floyd was an amazing instructor who cares deeply for everyone in our class and his passion for teaching is unreal. I came away with not only a great understanding of all the “text book “ details needed to be a great home inspector, but also an understanding of how to apply that knowledge to the real world and succeed in performing a home inspection. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to become a successful home inspector to make sure Floyd , Sandra and ICA are involved in your training. Thanks for caring so much Floyd!

Floyd is an incredible motivator and teacher. There were times I felt lost and then out of nowhere he would say something that just pulled all the material together. Everything he says has a purpose. Teaches not only the material but life lessons as well. I feel completely prepared to go out into the work force and have a successful career.
