I had an issue with my central heating boiler not producing any hot water. I contacted HomeServe and they were able to arrange an engineer to visit. The engineer contacted me beforehand to get a few more details and then on the day of their visit rand about 30 minutes before they were due to arrive.
Typically I had hot water when the engineer tested the boiler but despite this they started to investigate the issue. The engineer suspected that the pump could be the culprit. True enough on inspecting the pump it appeared quite worm, well it was around 20 years old, and had developed a leek. The engineer had a replacement pump with them and changed it, reassembled everything and checked everything was OK before leaving. I was very happy. Thank you.

The engineer came, pulled out my intergrated washing machine, marked all the floor, chipped my quartz worktop (no apology!)then pushed it back did not realign the door so it was not flush, he did not check the repair , I ask him to came back and put the machine back properly to which he replied he did not have time and these things happen. . When I went to use it, no water was going to the machine, engineer was rude and very unhelpful.
However the engineer that returned was the total opposite he explained the previous engineer had just pushed the machine back and kinked all the hose, he put this right and re aligned my units to how they were originally before the first engineer arrived.

We wanted to fix a loose kitchen tab. The engineer came three times and he could not fix the issue. We wanted to fix a leaky toilet. The leaking is fixed but when you flush the water continues running.
