A lovely break in Devon
The communication was excellent and we were given contact numbers should we need them. Everything went very smoothly and the accommodation was even better than described.

Owl Cottage was the perfect family…
Owl Cottage was the perfect family getaway. Homely, beautiful property with everything you could possible need for a weekend away with your family. The hosts were so welcoming and set up the house so beautifully for our arrival. The hot tub was great and the garden was secure and great for our granddaughter to place safely to her hearts content! Surrounding views and walks were lovely and our 'big kids' loved exploring. Highly recommended to all.

Great base for exploring Knaresborough, York, Harrogate and the Dales

The cottage is well presented and in an idyllic location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only let down was the cleanliness that has room for improvement.
The house was in a great location for the beach and for shops and cafes
The house was in a great location for us, near our son, and near lots of restaurants and shops, with easy access to the beach and via foot or bus into Brighton centre. Good to have parking. Holiday cottages communicated well and gave helpful instructions about parking (which were needed!)

Clean, quiet & comfortable stay in Alnwick
We chose this for the location and have previously stayed at many of the apartments within the Malthouse. So it firstly goes without saying that the location was ideal for us. It is close to the centre of town and within easy walking distance of al the pubs, food outlets, shops, amenities and attractions as well as having the benefit of private parking.
This was only a mid-week break and it was great to be back in Alnwick. An opportunity to park up the car for a few days and just enjoy the surrounds.
Booking online was easy enough and the entry instructions were clear and informative. Like so many properties nowadays, there's no personal interaction (not suggesting this is a bad thing) just turn up and obtain the key from a keybox. The apartment was modern and spacious, well appointed and suitably equipped with everything you would need for a short holiday. It was thoroughly clean throughout and most importantly the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep during the stay. Clean, quiet, comfortable, perfect location and ideal for our needs.
Value wise it was just a little pricier than similar properties within the Malthouse. There were also minor issues like ceiling fans in the bedrooms that we couldn't get working during the hot weather, either through lack of a remote control or any written instruction! Still, it didn't distract too much from what was a fantastic week in Alnwick.
MIxed views
Clear information provided before our holiday but no response from the local agent when we phoned for advice.
Ideal for a family holiday
The Property spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Caehedyn is a listed property which has been sympathetically and lovingly restored. The house is spacious with comfortable rooms, eating areas and designed so that there is still privacy if wanted. Ideal for a large family holiday.
The garden is huge and secure so that our dogs had space to play. The setting is beautiful and having the Welsh Coast Path on the doorstep meeans easy access for dog walks. The is plenty to do within easy access which makes Caerheyden an ideal place for a large family holiday.

We had a family wedding at Battle Abby so there was quite a lot of us coming down from the north of England to attend. We found Caldbec House, Caldbec House Stables and Mingan Barn and booked all three! Turned out to be THE best decision. All three properties were absolutely ideal for our needs. The house was large, comfortable and very interesting. The Stables and Barn were very modern and very well appointed. We had a number of children staying and they thought it was wonderful to be able to run around in the gorgeous big garden, run into each other’s houses etc. They want to go again next year! We all spent an ideal week.
The cottage was spacious
The cottage was spacious, well-furnished and had lots of crockery in the kitchen. The cottage was custom designed for rental and idealy located close to the beach, town centre and large public car park with ev charging points.
We had a lovely holiday here
We had a lovely holiday here. It was a great location, beautiful views, very peaceful. We would highly recommend a stay here.
We did find the shower to be temperamental and the upstairs taps took an age for water to come through.
