Accurate description of property and easy to book

Good description of property and good communication.

A 'wow' factor property, which is very spacious and well equipped. The garden is secure for dogs and very designed with two hot tubs.

The downstairs apartment was immaculate and in a very quiet area
Would recommend the local butchers. A nice walk to the beach is a bonus, takes about 10mins

terrific property in a great location which ticked all our requirement boxes, will definitely consider booking further properties through holidaycottages.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful location. At top of hill so don't book if you don't like steep hills, or at least don't mark down on ratings when you've been pre-warned.

Really struggle to fault anything relating to this property. We will return and would recommend to others.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ashtree Cottage with our two dogs and honestly couldn’t fault a thing.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable and so well equipped. The peaceful countryside setting and gorgeous views made it the perfect place to switch off and relax, and having so much space right on the doorstep was fantastic for the dogs too.

Everything about our stay felt easy and welcoming, and the cottage was a real home from home. We loved every minute and were genuinely sorry to leave.

One of the best cottages we’ve stayed in and somewhere we would recommend without hesitation.

We loved it so much that we’ll be back next year!

Accommodation in Cockermouth very well equipped, warm and comfortable
Best equipped self catering accommodation I have booked.
Ideal for 2 singles.
Convenient for all ameneties. Nearby electric chargers for electric vehicles.

This is an outstanding property in an outstanding surrounding area. On entering the property, immediately you could see it was everything that it said on the tin. It was less of a "holiday let" and more of a home vibe, with quality throughout. Whilst the quality hamper with its fresh loaf of bread was a lovely touch, on opening the fridge and finding not just milk but local butter and Wensleydale cheese was amazing and thoughtful. Despite being October we were able to sit in the garden which we found peaceful. So much thought has gone into the provision of robes, slippers extra towels for the hot tub etc ensuring that visitors have the best stay possible.

Lovely cottage, well equipped. Excellent welcome pack and lovely owners.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views. Clean and everything you could need. So much space and lots for the kids to do. Proper family time. Loved watching the deer in the mornings with breakfast outside.
Loads af things to do within half hours drive in all directions. Would definitely come back

A charming tranquil escape in a modern renovation of a beautiful classic building. We really enjoyed spending time here, the surrounding estate and countryside. The host Vanessa was very welcoming and kind, making it a pleasant relaxing week, top marks!

We found it to be a lovely rural setting for a 70th birthday family celebration. Accommodation is spacious and high quality. Be aware local roads and track to the Barn can be a bit challenging!

Great company with lots of choice & easy to use filters to find the perfect property.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. The enclosed garden and exercise field were great for our dogs.

Lovely cottage and smooth experience but the cottage description needs more information. A floor plan would be helpful.

Straightforward booking process and instructions
