Was nice experience to get my first car here in Ireland all thank to Sean and his team and also finance team

Recently purchased a Kadjar at Hertz , Cork . Killian was very welcoming and easy to deal with.
He made the whole process run seamlessly and I would have no issue recommending hertz and Killian.

I recently had of purchasing a vehicle from Hertz car sales. From start to finish the process was ,transparent, and smooth. Throughout the negotiations, Cormac Smyth - car sales manager, was fair, honest and transparent. He patiently answered all my questions and address any concerns I had. He is really person centred, guided me Throughout bying process. I highly recommend Hertz sales car in the market for a quality pre-owened car.

From the initial contact with hertz to the collection of the car I can't praise the service enough. Dave was on the phone to me going through all options in the selection and ultimately the purchase of the car. On the day of collection he had the paperwork ready to go and went through it with a fine tooth comb ensuring that we understood every aspect of the agreement. Once the paperwork was sorted dave and team went through the car setting up the android Auto and the controls . I would recommend hertz for your car needs and in particular dave who was very pleasant and professional.

I was in speaking to Sean (I can’t remember his surname sorry) but his customer service was above and beyond when it came to answering every question I had about a vehicle I was interested in. I didn’t purchase anything as I was just in to browse and Sean was aware I wasn’t in to buy something on this day but he was still very professional and kind.

The car sales man Sean, was extremely helpful and such a genuine helpful guy in every sence! He went way beyond to make the experience of choosing a car a pleasure. Absultly noting was a chore for him. And may l add, a proper young gentleman!

I had an amazing experience with Hertz, especially Dave!!!! I went in with just a thought of buying a used car but Dave was soo convincing and great with his work, he made me buy a lovely skoda car which was out of my decided budget but worth buying it. The process was tbh filled with a lot of ups and downs but everytime i talked with Dave he just comforted me with his solutions and expertise. Because of Dave I was able to buy this lovely car. I would not recommend Hertz Car Sales Dun Laoghaire!

I went out to Hertz Car Sales Dun Laoghaire on Saturday to view a Volkwagen t roc, I brought it for a test drive and loved the car. I was trading in my own car and buying that one. I sat down with the salesman and went through everything and he made me an offer on my trade in which I wasn’t happy with so told him I would get back to him. He said he would try get a better deal and get back to me but he wasn’t back in work until Tuesday which was grand.

Tuesday came and the sales man text to ask was there a good time for a call which I replied and said anytime. He rang me and told me the deal was €17,000 cash along with my trade in which was a better deal. I told him I would get back to him today Wednesday.

This morning Wednesday came and he text to ask if I had any more thoughts on our phoncall yesterday which I replied to and said I’m up to my eyes in work and would give him a call after lunch.

I text before I rang him and said I just want to double check the deal was €17,000 cash and my trade in as I was ready to buy. He said yep I got the approval from the sales manager €17,000 cash and my trade in. I said is that the best deal and he said if you pay a deposit I can try get a bit more off and bring it down to €16,850. I asked how I pay the deposit and he said over the phone so I called him a paid a €1,000 deposit over the phone.

The sales man called me back an hour late to say the sales manager has decided that he’s not selling now for €17,000 cash plus my trade in even tho it was already agreed and has been discussed for the last 2 days!

He then said we can still sell to you but you’ll need to put another €990 to the car which I said not a hope. He’s processed a refund which usually takes 3-5 working days but with the bank holiday it will most likely be next week. So now I’m down €1,000 euro to buy a car!

I have all the text messages in writing to say the deal was agreed by the sales manager of €17,000 cash and my trade in then for him just to decide after I’ve paid a deposit of €1,000 that he has gone back on the price and now wants an extra €990.

Absolute disgrace, would not recommend because clearly even tho a price is agreed they will want more. Definitely do not pay a deposit over the phone to this company.

We had a very good experience with Hertz Car Sales in Cork City. David was professional, very helpful and available for any question to an extend of shipping our car from another branch for us to collect , upon arrival the paperwork was ready for us . All in all David’s service was the best our journey with Hertz Cork City was a smooth one . I recommend Cork City Hertz with soo much confidence.

Sales personnel were very attentive and informative. However it was sold to us with a slow puncture in the front passenger wheel. This information came up on the dashboard display along with the fact that both keys require new batteries. Not a good way to sell the car.
