I called customer service with a question I needed answered before I could place my order, and I was amazed that a REAL HUMAN answered the phone, and provided the info I needed.
After visiting three well-known hardware centers, and learning that none of them could provide custom-cutting for closet rods bought on-site, I found Hardware Decor online. Your Help articles guided me to which closet rods I needed (load bearing differences, etc). The complete assortment of shapes, lengths, metals, and finishes made customizing my order very simple.
My order was placed late yesterday, and I just received an email informing me that my order has already been shipped.

Bad customer support policy
We received the closet rods with our order but not the rod support brackets and center brackets. We informed customer support and they informed us that we could not receive replacements since we did not notify them within 7 days of receiving the rods. Bogus.

Thank you Stephen. We are sorry you did not see the stickers and shipper on the box. You waited 2 months to get a hold of us. We do not think 7 days to inspect your package is unreasonable. We have the policy in place since as part of the anodizing process new shipments could have a slight color difference.
After 2 months, items could differ from your original order. We did offer you a coupon and am glad you took us up on it.
