We had our doubts initially after our initial booking through Happy Rentals that we already had fully paid for got cancelled last minute, but Happy Rentals was super helpful in accomodating and offering a much better apartment in Vallorcine.

We stayed at La Verte 23 at the Grand Montets in Chamonix. Apartment was well kept. Directions from Happy Holidays were clear. We never had to reach out to talk to the staff.

The double bed is actually a sofa so…
The double bed is actually a sofa so not so comfortable..
The kitchen is less than basic...No kettle even to make tea or coffee.
Hot water lasts for 1 person only.
You need to wait more than an hour for the next shower.
And the hosts are not nice.. we were 3 man ask for another blanket for the 2 man sleeping at the soaf and they refused.
Shame.

The property Studio Blue Petit is advertised with a double sofa bed and a single bed. Therefore the sofa bed has linen for a double and not a single. The amenities in the kitchen are as described and we are sorry that you needed to take short showers.

We were 4 adults and two children. Nice appartment with two bathrooms and all you need. Only a few minutes by car to Argentière where the kids went to ski class.

The check-in is perfect: All the information necessary to get the keys of the apartment were provided weeks before the travel (location of the office, direction to the apartment, code of the box,...). Apartment was clean, kitchen fully equipped and aditional information about the region.

Good location (7 minutes walk to the Auditorium), fully and tastefully equipped apartments, private parking (a bit difficult to access with a larger car due to the very steep and narrow road), very good value.

However, as mentioned, both the TV and toilet were in working order during your stay, we personally checked after you informed us. You just did not like the property as you described it to be "so retro and 80s here".
Also Airbnb, where you booked, found that the apartment was as described in the listing and there were no real issues, which is why a refund was declined also by them.

Very nice area
The location is nice, but only for 2 people. Thank God the weather was nice. Otherwise she would have been a bit small. The bed is folded out of the sofa. Of course it's not that comfortable but it's okay ;-) The garden and the seating area outside are great.
