I had a great experience with Douglas…

I had a great experience with Douglas Allen Estate agency. Magdalena Kubit and Genavieve williams was extremely helpful and professional when I had a problem with the entrance. She responded quickly and solved the issue without any hassle.

Highly recommended

I recently dealt with Haus Block Management on behalf of our client who is remortgaging their property, I was impressed by the level of service provided. The responses were prompt, the communication was clear, and everything was handled efficiently.

As someone who works with various management companies on a daily basis, I know how stressful and time-consuming the process can often be, particularly when delayed replies hold up property sales. However, this was absolutely not the case with Haus.

A special mention to Davida Fouche for being incredibly responsive and quick in providing everything requested. Her efficiency and professionalism made the transaction run smoothly.

Highly recommended.

Well done to Georgiana!!!

I would like to formally express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding efforts Georgiana made during the recent power outage at Burrells Wharf.
I have rarely seen someone work with such dedication, professionalism, and commitment. Throughout the disruption, she provided updates almost every hour, clearly explaining what was happening and what residents could expect. This level of communication made a huge difference in managing expectations and significantly reduced anxiety during what was a very challenging situation.
Georgiana worked until late in the evening, past 10.00 pm, ensuring residents were kept fully informed at every stage. Her calm, proactive approach and visible leadership were truly commendable.
I genuinely hope this feedback reaches Senior Management at Haus, as Georgiana is without doubt one of the best property managers I have encountered. It is a real pleasure to have her managing Burrells Wharf.
Well done, and thank you for your exceptional work.

Terrible company and awful service

Terrible company and awful service. Completely unhelpful when there are issues with the building. Take far too long to resolve matters. They installed a lock on our bin room and now the bin collectors can’t access it and we have overflowing rubbish. Had the water shut off for over 8 hours before they sent someone to fix it. These are just some of the issues that we have experienced since living at our place for a year. We rent but actual leaseholder are now being charged on top of their already expensive service charge regarding a fire safety issues that was Haus’ mistake.

We are sorry to read your review and note the concerns you have raised.

In relation to the bin store, access arrangements have now been addressed and refuse collections have resumed. The lock was introduced as part of measures to manage access to the bin store and address reported misuse of the area. We recognise the disruption caused while access arrangements were being updated and apologise for the inconvenience experienced.

With regard to the water outage, a contractor attended on the same day the issue was reported to investigate and carry out the necessary repairs. Updates were also provided via the resident portal at the time, and the matter was responded to as promptly as possible.

In respect of the fire safety works, we would clarify that there has been no error on our part. The costs referenced relate to the replacement of the EWS1 certification, which was required following updated guidance and the need for a current FRAEW/EWS1. The previous documentation, commissioned prior to our appointment, was no longer accepted, and the updated assessment was necessary to ensure compliance.

Working with Davida Fouché was very productive. He was fast and efficient, making the sales process much easier and less stressful than it could have been. My only issue was the extortionate £720 fee for the management pack, however this is more down to Haus as a company as opposed to Davida.

In recent years, the scope of information required has increased considerably due to changes in fire safety and building safety regulations, which has added further layers of review and verification before documentation can be issued.

The fee charged for this service reflects the time and administrative work involved, and our rates are periodically benchmarked against the wider market to ensure they remain in line with industry standards.

Handling and Resolution of Property Repairs

We experienced water leakage into our flat from the above flat, which resulted in damage to the door. It took a couple of months initially to identify the source of the leakage, but once this was established, the repair was successfully completed. I appreciate Lizanne’s efforts in coordinating with Property Fix and the insurance company to arrange the necessary works. She was proactive and supportive in ensuring the repairs were carried out properly.

There were a few occasions where I needed to follow up for updates, which may have been due to competing priorities. Overall, I am grateful for her involvement and guidance, and the matter was ultimately resolved satisfactorily with her assistance.

Bath Leak solved quickly

Our building was recently taken over by Haus. Chloe H was responsive, despite being very new to managing our building and got a serious problem with my bathroom assessed and resolved quickly, before leaks affected other tenants in the building. The contractors used were a great service, clean, efficient and very pleasant.

Dealing with Chloe Heffer at Haus

We have been dealing with Chloe Heffer for almost 2 years. Chloe has gone beyond her role as the manager of the block. She has helped us with LPE1, credit control issues. We have called "a treasurer". She is a professional at AGMs, able to answer whatever is thrown at her and will always keep to her promise to get back to us should an item remains outstanding. It’s so bad I can’t even explain…

It’s so bad I can’t even explain anymore. I have the proof since they took over 3 years ago. No proper communication, no meeting minutes, no responses and leadership team on website.
