I filled in the form for an attendance allowance assistance and received the standard email telling me a representative would call me within the next working day
That would have been fine but this morning I received an email advising they could not contact me on my mobile number and to ring them.

I checked my mobile inbox and there were no calls from them. I had two numbers to ring and on each occasion I was met with a recorded message telling me someone would ring me back. That in itself was not impressive.

A rather gruff gentleman rang me back and when I taxed him about the calls he said they had tried twice and that the number was unobtainable. I said that sounded strange as he had just rung me back on the same number. His response was to say dismissively that he could not help me and hung up.

That was not only an unpleasant experience but the Company seemed unpofessional in that they had to rely on an answerphone on both numbers and there was no-one to answer the phone.

I wouod say avoid. There are a lot nicer Companies out there that will act professionally and treat you with respect.

Very helpful, easy to understand and answer the questions when they were explained to us , well supported by the consultant .

I have had years of health issues and decided to apply for AA.
It is a very difficult and complicated thing to do if you are not familiar with the 30 plus pages of tricky questions. After I was declined I contacted Grey Matters. I had read reviews about them and I found them on Google. I made contact and a very nice man named Simon. We had a long friendly chat about why I needed to apply. He was very knowledgeable and caring in a manner that was not too intrusive.
You have to be prepared to tell it “as it is “
Warts and all . I am sure Simon and the rest of the team have heard it all before. So no feeling of embarrassment was involved . After our informal chat . Simon asked for medical information from my GP. Then he was able to proceed with the form filling
What was a nightmare to do alone was made very easy as Simon guided me through the endless questions. Once this was done I received the forms all very professionally filled in, and typed out and easy to understand.
I think many people, myself including, are too anxious to tell every thing and we end up writing a lot of unimportant things. What we find important is not necessarily what the DWP wants to hear.
So save yourself time and stress and use Grey Matters to help you with these difficult forms.
I was granted AA after Simon did his job and I am very grateful for his help.
