Efficient assistance
I had a reservation and when I went to start the car, it had a technical problem (I always book the same car, meters away from my home). I immediately called the company through the number on the app and they answered very kindly and solved the problem very quickly. It took me 20-30 minutes to get to the next available car in the neighbourhood, but the company was also able to compensate me for the transition time. I am very happy with the service. I will definitely continue to use it.

Convenient locations and easy rental process. The cars are super basic, which is perfect from a cost and liability perspective for the renter. I like this company and they have good customer service.

Very user-friendly experience!
Opening the van and being on my way was really simple, as was returning the car. No need to take millions of photos like some other short term rental companies.

Frustrating Experience and Terrible Customer Service
I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Greenwheels, and I feel compelled to share it.
The car I reserved didn’t start, so I called customer service. They told me to use my OV-chipkaart to reset it. I did, and they claimed it was fixed. Sure enough, the car started after that. However, later on, at a different location, the same issue happened again. I repeated the OV-chipkaart procedure, but this time, the car refused to start altogether.
I called customer service again, and they told me I’d have to wait 45 minutes for someone to come and fix it. That was not an option for me—I had an important appointment and couldn’t just stand around waiting. I told them I would leave the car there and that they could come and fix it themselves.
Their response? It’s my responsibility, and I had to extend the reservation at my own cost while waiting for the mechanic—just because I had the key. Why should I be charged for a broken car? The key could be left inside, and anyone could access it with an OV-chipkaart. So why should I waste my time and money on a car that’s not my fault?
This whole process is completely ridiculous. Greenwheels expects customers to pay for their own faulty cars while waiting for their slow support. Instead of providing real assistance, they leave you stranded with unnecessary charges. Avoid them if you don’t want to deal with unreliable cars and even worse customer service.

It's all about money, money and more money 💰
I used Greenwheels a few times and i will never do it again! The customer service sucks! When my car was having issues i rented their cars for almost a week to go to my work. I paid almost €300. I am not complaining about the prices but the customer care. I mistakenly booked a car which I cancelled 8 minutes too late, and they made me pay the whole tarif for the booking (€28). What is €28 to a cliënt that has brought in €300?
All i can say is that i am happy that my car is back and i do not have to deal with Greenwheels ever again.

I got a fine for €75 because someone…
They seem to invent excuses and pick random people to steal money from. I got a fine for €75 because someone reported dog hairs at the back of my seat. Despite the fact that I did not carry a dog and there was no proof against me, I got charged this fine. Please don't use this car.

Convenient, easy and cheaper than owning a car
It is always easy and convenient to get a car. If you need a car once in a while, greenwheels is for you.
I always get full tank, relatively clean and in perfect condition cars. I've used it in Amsterdam and Almere, in both locations I had the same experience.
The app bugged once with me, but I could solve the situation.
