Great cars, and excellent availability. I personally really like electric cars, and I'm glad Greenwheels promotes this. I wish for them to expand more around the NL and EU. I also like their administr... See more

I’m happy with Greenwheels. Only need it once in a while. There is always a car around the corner.

Car was quite clean, fully loaded, affordable electric driving is a pleasure

The car was conveniently located, easy to book and access.

It's a very useful and convenient service, I just wished there were more options around me and the price was lower, 29 euros to 3h and 16km was too much, I would not use it for longer trips or to go to other cities.

It is a practical and simple way to use a car, especially for short trips.

I opened an account because I expected to use it. After several months without renting anything, I closed the account. They sent me an email saying they had made a bank transfer to return my deposit, but the bank account number did not match and I never received the deposit back.
For months I have been sending emails to customer service and making phone calls to explain the situation, but I have never received any reply. Very unreliable and unprofessional. A company to avoid, terrible service.

Many locations around city. Easy to book and open car via app. Just make sure to turn on the lights as several cars are still manual in this respect.

I had a very frustrating experience with Greenwheels. I booked a car for the next morning and canceled the reservation within 30 minutes. However, I did not receive any cancellation confirmation email. In fact, I received no communication at all — no cancellation notice and no usage reminder — until I was sent an invoice stating that the amount would soon be deducted from my bank account.
I contacted customer service immediately, but it has been over a week and I have not received any response.
This lack of communication and support is extremely disappointing.

What is the point of a short trip car rental company that charges 6 euros in fees per trip? That 30min booking to pickup shopping, pick someone up from the train station or an item from marktplaats is now double the price. This is what is mainly used for?
This company also uses community resources - such as the very limited parking in Oegstgeest - and competes for these spots with other companies. Therefore, I think they have a responisbility for fairer prices.
I was also not impressed by the sneaky automatic opt-out charging of reduced risk insurance, which I only saw after I spent a lot of money on it. Greenwheels refuses to compensate despite the consumer bond recommendations to do so.

Really simple to use, lots of cars available all the time. Theres not so many automatics but for me that’s not a problem. App is super easy to use. It’s not the cheapest - the costs can add up quickly if you go a long distance but it’s really handy for short trips. Re-fueling is really easy too. I use the cars all the time

Disappointing and misleading. The cancellation process is a black box. I was charged 80% of the booking fee with zero prior warning in the app. No cancellation receipt, no clear rules shown. I would have rather used the car than pay for nothing. Very poor customer transparency.
Before I write this review I wrote an email to you. I still haven’t got a reply from you yet. When I canceled, it was a night before the day I was planning to use the service, I cancelled within 30 minutes. My reservation was 10:30 in the morning onward.

Very easy and reliable. Cars are always clean and tidy. Price is always a bit more than expected but at short notice super easy.

Everything as expect, good car on a central location and clear pricing

So convenient to move ourselves and pay only for the time and mileage, not for some bored worker wanting to move us along faster than we want to go.

I returned the car where I picked it up: an electric charging spot. The car was full when I returned it (I had only driven 4 kilometers) - thus, I didn't plug it in. The car got towed, and Greenwheels wants me to pay 579 Euros. Greenwheels answers that their customers should know that they need to charge the car even though it is full. I would have never dreamt of plugging a full car in (and to prevent someone else from charging). Greenwheels needs to do a better job of clarifying this! What, also, about a warning sign: "You risk a 579 Euro fine if you don't plug the car in even if it is fully charged".
