If I could add zero stars I would.
When I first started with Gousto, I could not believe the quality of all the ingredients. However my recent orders have demonstrated that Gousto have reduced the quality of all their ingredients. My most recent box was a few months ago, where all the veg, was old. I ordered additional green beans which arrived mouldy. Needless to say, I haven’t ordered since, until this week. I thought I would give them another go, I needed delivery for 5.7.26. At 3pm, I find that the Gousto delivery has encountered a problem and will be delivered the next working day. There’s absolutely no way, that I’m eating out of a box that has been sat waiting in a delivery depot for an additional day- with these summer temperatures. So I went to chat with their customer services. I requested a full refund, they responded that they can see my delivery was in the way… no it was not. I again requested a refund. Their response always to monitor my delivery. That’s not N answer and this shows clearly that their customer services aren’t bothered. I tried calling them, was placed on hold, then they disconnected the call. So I’ve had to email. Absolutely disgusting.

Terrible Customer Service. I received an order which I hadn't placed so contacted the online chat. 'Lady Flordalyn D' told me I did place the order and so they can't do anything to change it. I would have known if I did place an order. I was charged £50 on my account and they have said there is nothing they can do to clear it. When I asked to speak to someone who could authorise the refund, they said everyone has the same tools at gousto and so they don't have anyone that can, which I truly find hard to believe. The worst customer service I've ever experienced.

We have been buying Gouto boxes for 2 people for about 3/4 weeks. All of the ingredients are good quality and have lasted the week. The recipe cards are easy to follow and are fairly detailed. I wouls say to read the cards before starting to cook, as there can be a slight variance on the recipe card to what was ordered/ingredients list, but not really an issue because its so similar. The food we have made so far has been really really tasty, it does take more effort than buying ready made food but we find the price point similar, especially with the discounts, and we are eating healthier. The portions are a good size. We have both enjoyed cooking together and trying food we would not have even thought of or dared to imagine we could cook. The customer service was excellent with a quick, detailed response, there is plenty of notice for delivery and it comes on the day it states.
We are continuing to buy and would recommend Gousto boxes.

Quite happy with the meals I've received but the chicken is awful twice I have defrosted it and it has been off in one box 3 meals was ruined because of the chicken being off

Gousto are very consumer friendly. The variety of their menu choices are superb, affordable and totally delicious. I have used their live chat recently to change delivery day (which you can do through your subscription page but needed to change unexpectedly and quickly) which was easy and sorted for me. Very happy.

Food is ok customer service shocking gave me credit then said would take off next order what a lie sent them screen shots of amount they took more than the price and they say it’s my bank’s fault won’t allow me complain and refused subject access request avoid we are now involving others

Terrible service my partner chose meals and there sending out totally different meals none of us will eat so a total waste of over £50 definitely do not recommend this company there customer service is terrible we will not use ever again and go to hello fresh from now on!

The fresh chicken was not in the cool box it was in the same compartment as the vegetables etc
I was concerned that it had not been kept at a cool temperature throughout its journey to me so have thrown it away.

Finally cancelled my subscription today, gave Gusto the benefit of the doubt over and over again but lately they have been very substandard, meat/fish with dates that doesn't last a week, Gusto moving the cut off deadline without notice and picking my menus for me, veg that is black and bitter, basically the worst and cheapest of produced..... Gusto when you read this dont bother asking me to contact you directly or ask for my account details because basically ive had enough so ive just cancelled and 100% wont be ordering again....
After the response..... WoW dont you listen... obviously not just like the customer services when I contacted them... I asked you not to ask me to contact you, how dull can you be

All the food was very tasty, only had 1 issue, the green beans were very discoloured & soft & didn't look appetising enough to use.

Unfortunately I have found that the quality of the ingredients / food of recent boxes has been poor. Carrots do not seem to be fresh and appear quite 'bendy' and the quality of garlic portions is very poor along with onions and tomatoes.
I have also noticed that the portion size of some dishes / recipes is quite poor. I have therefore cancelled / put on hold my current subscription with Gousto and will try elsewhere.
I have normally found Gousto to be very good with tasty meals but the quality seems to have gone down hill recently.

Delivery didn't arrive untill 8pm although delivery slot was 2.35- 3.35 pm
Box was not sealed.
Ingredients very poor quality, damaged.
Customer service not helpful.
Complaint not taken seriously and email not read completely before answering.
Will never order from Gousto again

I did cancel however a box was sent.
I did cancel within the timeframe to cancel as I checked this online however they still continued to send a box out and charge me and now I’m going away so wasted food .

Some of the dishes where very nice currys sweet and sour and biryarmi. Couple big down falls for me all the veg comes loose in bottom the box any fruit battered and bruised. The Menus 4 from 5 say use clove of garlic you get 2. Cardamom seeds all loose whybnot just pop these in bags so that's the food. Now order 1 came as expected but missing garlic then you asked to choose your nect I opted to miss this 1 and chose the following week so week 3 on the Tuesday so week 2 a box came chiefs special as I had not put order in so I took it and went on the app and cancelled my subscription and the 3rd week order low and behold week 3 turns up and monies taken the day before so thanks for this I now have so many meals that I can't eat them as I have cancer of esophagus can only eat small meals so each meal does me 3 meals hence why I opt to skip week 2 so sorry I won't use again and if you do please be very careful what you order and when you order it as anything may turn up ........
