AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The prices are low and great until you need to claim. I have recently had an incident with a motor cyclist which was not my fault and currently fighting my case. I was promised a courtesy vehicle yet we are 4 weeks in my car has not been repaired yet as they handed it over to a third party to repair. The third party insurer forgot to send my claim. When they did the repairs team gave them the estimate which they forgot to authorise and and did not authorise until I chased it up. I have had to chase up daily, send emails and basically do their jobs for them. I have been without a car for almost 4 weeks and was promised a courtesy car which apparently was all sorted until the day I had to drop off my car as the repairers are fully booked to collect so would have to wait longer and have a courtesy vehicle but cannot give it to me due to the insurance company not insuring the courtesy vehicle. It has becomes very stressful and complicated. Even regarding my damage I had to request an accessor to come and look as they have me down as liable when I had already established a new lane when the motorbike hit the side of me. Most likely tried to filter and missed. Avoid this insurance company at any costs. They have given me the biggest runaround.

⛔ WARNING

⛔ WARNING, DO NOT GO FOR THIS SCAMMER.
They didn't handle my accident at all, It was none fault
A big scam do not go for this insurance, they are cheap but if anything happen to you they will blank you out.
.
They transfer my file to a different company after I make the claim to them.

So I went online report the accident I received a phone call from them and my car is collected and everything as soon as the lady ask me where I was going, when I told her, she put me on pause, she said we don't know where your car is, go get it yourself clear all the charges, we didn't collect your car so I was confused, then I ask her you work with nationwide she said no, when the second policy holder ask her about it, she said but we work with them but we didn't instruct them to collect your car.

The car is off road with no possibility of reparations they ask £1091 I said the car can't be fix is off road.
Still blank me out and want me to pay this.
Be careful they Are SCAMMER.

I send them the car is been sold but still.
They are thief

So I went through Go compare

So I went through Go compare, gave all the necessary information and on from receiving all the quotes, you guys were top of the list
Last year I purchased the exact same car that have just purchased last Saturday and now insured with yourselves, admittedly I think I got a good deal with the other insurer. With the aforementioned I asked the other insurer what would be the best deal? Multi car policy or as a separate one. They come back with the most ridiculous quote, three times more than yourselves!
So I'm super happy I chose you, wished I'd approached you in the first place, so thanks again

Terrible customer service from this…

Terrible customer service from this Company, no help when I needed some guidance re a car accident which was not my fault, treated like an inconvenience. Be wary of taking insurance with a company who do not want to help when something goes wrong.

Online purchase, in need to clarification

I had difficulty understanding if I had NCD cover, On calling the team at GoSkippy, they were understanding and able to confirm that I did indeed have NCD cover. Waiting time was not to long about 4 mins, and the call took about no more than 6 minutes once a member of the team picked up.

UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW

UPDATE: GoSkippy responded publicly to my review asking me to email them so they could investigate the issue. I sent the requested details to the address they provided but have received no reply or acknowledgement.

The accident itself was non-fault, yet resolving the issues afterwards has taken months, with repeated emails, phone calls, and considerable inconvenience. While the hire car costs have now been reimbursed by the third-party insurer, the handling of the policy and complaint by GoSkippy caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.

It is disappointing that after asking me to make contact directly, the company has not responded. I am still waiting for Go Skippy to properly address the concerns raised and explain whether they will consider compensation for the way this matter was handled.

Additional Update:
Go Skippy have now replied again publicly saying they require more information to identify my account. However, they have already contacted me by telephone and therefore clearly have my details on file. I also emailed the information they requested to the address they provided but have still received no reply or acknowledgement.
More update : No reply from Go Skippy

Very Dissapointed

Very Dissapointed. I changed cars mid way through my policy. My premium jumped up to £73 per month when other Insurance brokers quoted £45.

When I realised, I enquired about a cancellation fee which was £150. They know they have me in a position and took full advantage.

This is what you get for Loyalty? As soon as the policy ends, I Will NEVER be using them again.
