I file a claim with First American Home…HVAC unit
I file a claim with First American Home Warranty on Apirl 29th 2026 regarding my Air Conditioner which stop cooling on this date .I have called the company, research the information which the company provided to me in light of why my unit has not been reparied. As of the present, my unit still has not been reparied accoding to the contract. I was supplied multiple reasons and excuses why the unit has not been repaired. I have not received the customer service which I deserve. I have endure the entire summer without my air conditioner to my upstairs home. With my last call with a supervisor,stated the pair for the air conditoner was on order and they do not know when the pair will arrive, it could be indefinite. This statement is unacceptable .

Reliable repair men very talented and gets the job done fast and without having disappointments later.
I have finished this for you already. Since it was Frank that was the repairman I will do this again. Frank is a trusted and trustworthy reliable and knowledgeable person. He diagnosed the problem fast and did temporary repairs so my freezer contents would not ruin. He ordered replacement parts and came back as he promised and completed the repairs. He is one you can count on. Very polite and friendly. He did a great job.

When my water heater completely gave out, leaving my house without hot water, FAHW sent a contractor out two days later. The contractor submitted a quote, and FAHW told me I had to cover a $300 upgrade fee, which I agreed to. Then they left me waiting for weeks.
In the third week without hot water, they changed the story entirely: they claimed the replacement cost exceeded my contract’s coverage cap. They instructed me to replace it out of pocket and promised to reimburse me up to the allowable maximum. I followed their instructions, paid out of pocket, and had it replaced.
Getting reimbursed has been an absolute nightmare:
A month ago, I called to check on the payment. A week later, an agent confirmed the agreed reimbursement was being mailed. I called today for an update, only to be told they haven’t even calculated the payout yet.
They stall, backtrack on agreements, and leave paying customers without hot water for weeks. Save yourself the headache and take your business anywhere else.

Glad to have warranty insurance
My issue was called in and assigned quickly. Scheduling the appointment was also easy but availability for repair took 4 days. Air conditioning was out in 113-116 degree weather for 4 days. The repairman fix it quickly.

I have had my Refrigerator replaced and my Electric Oven.
My dishwasher was completely overhauled.
Putting in a claim was easy. I got a call right away from the company contacted to do the repairs.
When parts were no longer available they bought me a new appliance.
I am very happy with the company and the way they do business.
