Installation went well
Installation went well. The service is not bad, but definitely slower than we expected. However, the cost is much lower than the fiber provider, which we did not want to pay for.

Not happy at all with HomeNet
When I signed the contract the guy that came home cheated to me. He never mentioned the 1900 kr of Etablering nor showed to me that page of the contract. I call and write emails to customer service complaining but nobody cares. They say I must pay that money, which I think it is extremely unfair.
Moreover, the internet speed is not as good as promised. We have often movies freezing while we stream.

Worst costumer service EVER!
Worst costumer service EVER!! We lost wifi because the cable at street pole is cut, has been 3!!! Days and nobody from homenet has come to check it. They send and sms saying will be fix today just to cancel last minute and not give us no date of when will be fix. When try to call the phone I try at 3 different times during the day and hold the line for 15! Min with no answer, then contact them in Thor chat to just get a ridiculous answer they didn’t knew when will be fix but I will get an sms when was a new date (like they might cancel that one too). Due to Covid we have to be working from home, me and my wife have no wifi and we have in this days have to use and pay extra for Mobil data, and people from HomeNet can’t give as an answer of when they will fix the issue. Worst costumer service ever, not only their internet is slow but apparently the fixing will be slow!

HomeNet loves to hunt new victims
I thought that I am the only one. But after reading comments here, well, «what you pay is what you get» is truly applied to HomeNet service.
Their common excuse for slow Internet downfall is: “you have apps that run in the background and slow down your connection”. Hilariously, I am an IT engineer and I do observe on the dashboard that besides a Chrome tab that is active for speed test, no app is using Internet.
And if you keep pushing them harder, they will threaten you by saying that they will send a technician to measure the speed and if it is as what they measured, they will charge you the fee for the calling the technician. It is completely nonsense, because they have total control over your Internet speed, and technicians are theirs (?!). What a win-loose case study!
HomeNet has the worst customer service and is the worst business I have seen so far in this very kind and trust-based country. “Run, Forest! Run!”

Terribly bad internet
Since our borettslag changed internet provider to Homenet we experience internet dropping (internet unavailability) several times a day. All our neighbours report the same plus additional coverage and speed problems.
Worths mentioning we have a Fiber subscription for 1000MB/s
When taking this up with HomeNet customer support they say it is "our fault" because we have too many internet connected devices. It is very simple, we had exactly the same devices before, when we had a different internet provider and everything worked perfectly fine: no internet drops, good coverage, good speed.
In Homenet´s case, the saying applies perfectly: "what you pay is what you get". So, think twice before you switch to a cheaper internet provider, there is always a catch!
Homenet’s reply to my review reflects exactly how they deal with customer’s problems - they ignore us. I write in the review that i had been in contact with customer service and nothing got fixed. They suggest i should get in contact with customer service.

Worst customer service in invoice management.
Sending a fake invoice of 1032 Nok on 06/07/2020.abd later in an inkass value of 1122.
Unless you canceled this invoice based on my many times communications, I won't pay a penny..
Inkasso and Lindorff Are sponsored is such local digital fried accusers
Together with the other scam firms using the scield of inkass, I would fight you both legally and publicly

Very bad service...tried many times contacting for complaint but couldn't even contact the customer service advocate...every time I call I m the 21st caller when I reach to 1st call gets disconnected..my shift starts from 6pm -3am there is an internet issue almost many days a month and that too in the evening. I've to stop my work...how m going to do my wfh..????? Poor service 😡
