Total disappointment
I’ve been an internet user since the dial-up era, so having 5G from this company really takes me back to those glory days. We’re supposed to get 100mb speeds, but instead, it often drops to Kb's. I reached out to customer service multiple times, which was an absolute waste of time, and ended up getting gaslighted about not properly setting up the 5G antenna or how our router is somehow so bad (despite using this router with 1.2GB speeds). In their fairness, one time they actually admitted there was a problem with their 5G signal and promised to update us… which, of course, never happened. So I stopped wasting my time with them. Now I’m seriously considering other options, even though the one-year binding contract is supposed to end in a few months. Anyway, if you’re in desperate need of a unstable, crippling speed experience, then sure, give them a try.
Disappointing experiance, do not go to them
My experience with NextGenTel has been extremely disappointing. As a result, I will be terminating my contract with them before the end of the month and will pay the cancellation fee.
I signed up for their Trådløst Bredbånd service, but the connection quality was very poor from the start. When I requested to cancel, they insisted I would still have to pay a fee 4000kr, even though it was within 14 days of starting the service. I also sent them an email about the issue, but they never responded. Truly shameful!

NextGentel is soon out of business
My experience with NextGentel is terrible. Therefore, I terminated my agreement after 1 year. The termination was handled by one of their competitors. However, I still got a reminder to pay the invoice for the following month. I also got an SMS telling me to pay a small amount of money. I have tried to call the customer service, but they do not operate after business hours. Their bot on "My pages" is totally stupid and doesn't answer any questions. I tried to call within business hours, and after waiting for half an hour, I decided to hang up. Now, I have received a new bill with interest on the small amount. I cannot recommend this Internet provider whatsoever.

Was mis-sold over the phone and the service has been terrible and not even provide basic video conferencing. upgraded to 600M and made no difference. Being charged 6months to exit. Avoid.

Rubbish customer's equipment, useless support
I use NextGenTel fiber for several years. The connection itself is stable and good. But the customer equipment (Inteno routers) is just rubbish: internet connection tended to hang several times a week. Support was useless: "reboot the router" was the typical advice! I switched to my own decent Mikrotik router and now everything is just fine and I do not need any help of from their support.

This was the worst experience I had…
This was the worst experience I had with these guys. Zero customer service. Signed a contract September last year. The actual service came two months later due to their delay with new generation equipment. Before even been connected to their internet demanded to cancel my contract and then they threatened me with 5000nok penalty. When asked if I could soeak to general manager, the guy just replied that he is deciding everything.. So I had to stay with them for one year. Now when notified them that I no longer want to stay with them 3.11.2023, was told that the earliest I can end my contract is 31.12.2023... The actual date should have been 30.11.2023... The quality of internet is very bad, constantly losing signal, my tv, printer, laptop losing connection with router. There was no real help from their customer service. On another occasion, there was a problem with their service (their fault) for one week. They did not offer compensation for that period. So I had again to contact them and demand for it which eventually rhry did.

Shocking, Appalling service - DO NOT GO NEAR NEXTGENTEL or RIKS TV!!!
NEXTGEN TEL offer shocking, appalling service. Poor equipment, bad communication, no satisfactory resolutions or recourse. Today I was on hold for 1Hour and 55 minutes!!! (NO EXAGGERATION). I was eventually cut off when just second in the queue after starting at number 47 in the queue!!! Basically - it's not possible to speak to anyone!!!
For the record, I DO NOT WANT CHAT OR EMAIL!!! Occasionally, I would like to know there is a HUMAN BEING SOMEWHERE PRESENT!!!
The main issue, however, is that the service is simply NOWHERE NEAR as efficient around our house as the Telenor service; despite the promises made by the door to door salesman selling their subscription. Stupidly, I believed their promises! Now, everyone in our house has regretted every month since the change.
DO NOT GO NEAR THIS ORGANIZATION!!! And do not go near their accomplice RIKS TV - it's EVEN WORSE!!!I am counting the days to go back to Telenor!!!
Wasted 2 months before we gave up
Tried to sign up, but they had an issue with transferring the account. Would have been fine except they kept saying it had been fixed and we would be given a connection date soon. Eventually they had been stringing us along for 2 months costing us a ton of money in mobile data before we had to give up and go with someone else. Customer services just ended up outright lying to us at the end. Thanks for the waste of time and money!
Expensive lesson learned
I was persuaded to try NextGenTel's internet service via Telenor's fiber line, by a nice enough salesman, who showed up in my garden earlier this year. After trying it out, we found the quality inferior to the cabled solution we already had. Were unable to conduct Teams meetings from the home office, as we kept being shut off. The solution offered was for us to buy more equipment at our own cost to improve WiFi in the house, which was never an issue with the previous solution. It cost me more than 5 000 NOK to get out of the deal. Customer service was slow, including chat function. Couldn't get through on the phone at all. Their dialogue option where your should be able to start a case did not work. Never NextGenTel again!
Nextgen 4G its very bad.
We changed from our landline connection at 20 Down 1 up to Nextgentels 4g package of 50/50.
We were sold on this because they claim its the fast and stable internet of the future apparently.
It is horrific, when peak time comes we don't even get 1-2 mb up and 2 down.
If you are a gamer you can forget about playing first person shooters as the latency is again horrific even though they say its good for gaming with fornite their example, we went from a ping of around 40 on most games to over 120.
The real kicker is as soon as you change to 4g from a landline connection there is no going back so you are stuck with the shitest connect possible.
for us as well the signal gets lost 3-4 times a day.
We have been customers of Nextgentel for many years and been relatively happy with the service until now.
They are still selling 50/50 4g packages in my area which means for ever new person joining the internet gets that little bit worse for everyone else.
Very very disappointed in Nextgentels handling of our situation and too often they blamed Telia for having a poor service whom by the way they are reselling 4g from.

Still no internet Improvements they have told us this is the best they can do so we are left with 1mb down and we are paying for 20mb down.
with covid our daughter is struggling to to use it for home schooling as well.
Come peak time artound 9pm our internet will be on and off all night.
Big Thank you Nextgentel for the worst internet service I have ever had in 40 years.

Miss leading information from salesman
Miss leading information from salesman. Promises things that doesn’t exist. Kundeservise talks like robots and do not listen to information given. Promises you can leave anytime and suddenly if you want to leave to have to pay 4990nok🤬

Disgusting company, nothing works and as a costumer you will feel hated by them.
Unsatisfactory customer and sales service
When entered to the agreement with this company I was not being told about certain internet installation fees. The company boasts of covering all installation fees on the advertisment with a set price. But when contacted with installation company they give a completely different and very high installation price.
