Hardware seems ok but still waiting on something more than the most basic Windows software. As the software stands today, the product is unfinished. At this stage I'm wishing I'd bought a Logitech BRIO instead.

TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!
I was one of the contributor for Lumina, bought the camera at $180, with an indicated delivery date of Sept. And it's now end of January, and I have not yet receive the camera.
I can't comment on how great/lousy the camera quality is, because I haven't received it after waiting for 5 months. But I can certainly say their ability to deliver the product is complete CRAP! TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!

This camera is a piece of junk and the claims made about the ‘ai software’ are fraudulent, even the manual software settings are terrible and buggy. The only good thing about camera has been the packaging it came in.
I entirely regret funding this indiegogo project, as none of the promised features work and do not appear likely to be resolved anytime soon.
I raised the critical issues with picture quality through their support email. I was told to try manually adjusting the saturation slider - which did absolutely nothing to rectify the terrible picture quality and colour balance.
I sent a follow up email asking when the camera software would be made functional - but they are now not responding.

Bought a Lumina webcam. Extremely disappointed
Bought a Lumina webcam. When it was delivered, found that the instructions describe the need for a “license key” to facilitate downloading an app for using the cam. No such key was sent. Claims of responsive customer service are grossly misrepresented. I completely regret making this purchase.

Do Not Buy
I saw a glowing presentation from Lumina on social media and the product seemed just right for me. I purchased the camera as they said it would ship in a few days. It did ship but from Hong Kong and arrived a month later. I asked up front if I could return the camera and be refunded if I was not happy. They said yes. I wanted to like the camera but it simply didn't work as described. Upon my inquiry, they made excuses about problems and how future updates would resolve the issues. Then, I found out the camera would not work as described (yet) with the latest Mac update. I was frustrating but I was nice and just asked to return and receive a refund, as they had promised. They said yes and I sent the camera back. Now, no response on the refund. I am having to file a claim with my credit card company to get paid. Lumina...no thank you.

Be aware of fake reviews for this…
Be aware of fake reviews for this product.
It is impossible people rate this with a 5 star, due to the simple fact that this product is still under development heavily.
Software versions are all still in very early Beta (0.0.2....)
AI functions are unavailable (but advertised for)
- Nice to advertise with a color-card function that does not work, due to the fact that it's an AI function,
- The current 'Sale' price isn't sale, it's actually 10% more expensive than 1 month ago,
- Shipment is terrible, The product is notified 'shipped' 1 or 2 days after sale, but it is actually not shipped.
- You likely pay double tax on this product, since the product is shipped from Hong Kong. (If the company was in Europe, this would be treated as tax fraud, I will check with the Hong Kong/China official sites soon)
- The mount is of poor quality, the camera barely holds position,
- The privacy cover is lost easily, it's magnet influences the sensor so you need to put it aside,
- The USB-C connection to the camera is poor.
- On Mac M-chip, you need to reboot your computer to open the software a second time.
A truly disappointing product.
Stay away from this (Mac -and- Windows) for at least another 6 months until software development is a bit further (Stable 1.0 or better).
For now, leave it alone.

Still under development. Come back in 12 months.
I was really excited to receive my WebCam, which took awhile to arrive. I’ve had it for a week now and still haven’t been able to use it. In the first instance, the apps are STILL in beta and this needs to be more stressed on the website that it is not yet ready for final use. Secondly, there are some really outdated things you have to do such as creating an account just to download the software and then you have to put in a licence key. When I tried to do this I just consistently get the error message that there is no Internet connection. So the WebCam is just useless and the technical support is even more useless. I have just sent my third reminder email to the tech team asking for assistance with this issue.
Just avoid this for now. I really regret being part of this experiment. I think it’s really unfair to advert this as the cutting edge but the experience is so old and buggy. Buy a Logitech and wait another 12 months until you consider Lumina again.

USD 200 spent, but no product
Ordered late November '21. Today, we are 2 months down the road and still no delivery, despite frequent contact with the support team. And more or less radio silence over the past week. Looking at other reviews it looks like others in Western Europe experience similar problems. They suggested it to be my problem to reel my shipment in (without a local tracking code), whereas THEY are responsible as the shipping contractor. Don't buy with these guys.
To LUMINA Support Team: I will remove this review when you will come with an acceptable solution (= money back).
UPDATE 2 FEB 2022:
Apparently Lumina's logistics partner woke up. But instead of returning the shipment to Lumina, pushed it further down the supply chain. Received a message by Dutch Post I can pick up my package. Which I obviously refused, so, Lumina, the package will come your way. Please refund the purchase amount.

ALL this good reviews are FAKE
ALL this good reviews are FAKE. Forget about this product and buy a Logitech or something else. There is no AI at all it is just a simple and cheap webcam with a micro. The import to Europe cost me another 45$ so it makes it a very very expensive product. For that money you can buy way better stuff.
The crap software is not useable and anyway I don't want (can) install any software. I just want to plug in and it need to work.
If it would not be that expensive, I would maybe try to take it apart and see what Chip and sensor there really is inside and how much it is worth.
I did not make enough research, which I normally do but in this case it was spontaneous, because I thought I will buy the best camera on the market.
The cheap holder for the camera also is not worth a penny.
Stay away from it I would love to return that product and get a refund.

Does not work on Windows
Does not work on Windows. They say the app is "in beta", but what that means is that you cannot use any of the AI features. It is just a camera with a mic.
Also, the Windows app messed with my system. I have uninstalled it, but I had to re-install audio drivers, etc. Train wreck.
The Lumina people only care about Mac. If you are on Windows, DO NOT BUY!!

Waiting for 2 months now...
I ordered the camera on Nov 9, 2021 and today (Jan 10, 2022) am still waiting to receive it. It starts to feel like a kickstarter campaign rather than an on-market product. The website is not transparent about the very lengthy delivery time.
If I receive the camera eventually, I will hopefully get a more positive view.
(edit - Jan 13) reply to Lumina: my name is Erik, not Matthew M. I reached out to the support team again as I had done before.
(edit 2 - Jan 14) reply to Lumina: thank you for fixing my name in your reply. I have not received response from your support team BTW (only an automatic message)

$200 down the drain
Arrived quickly. Nice packaging. Connected to computer and the image is horrible. This was a great idea but the execution is awful. Good old facebook marketing got me. Wish I had done a little more research and would have seen this product is still a beta test and a ton of customers are unhappy. $200 down the drain.

Camera was never shipped and email updates stopped coming in November. Perk is locked and support[at]getlumina.zendesk.com doesn’t answer my emails with order number and the request for an update on the shipment.

Very Mac focussed?
I received the webcam in a timely manner, and did receive tracking so I had an idea of when it would arrive.
Currently, the Windows software/firmware needs work. I have regular freezes and the AI features are not there yet. Image quality is ok, I'm hoping that it will improve with future software/firmware releases. The next software update (which should start adding AI features) was estimated at the end of last year but is yet to be released. Waiting in anticipation...
Shocking service
Shocking service. Paid the extra for shipping and it didn't even get a consignment number before the time it was supposed to arrive.
It's been another 19 days on that and still no sign of arrival.
I wouldn't recommend this in any way shape or form and if this is the effort put in to get it to customers I'm now scared to see the technology.
Spend your money on something else!

Getlumina 'forgets' to ship the order…
Getlumina 'forgets' to ship the order and blames late arrival by default to 'holiday circumstances at your local shipper'. Fact is, the local distribution is only one day late due to the holidays.
Support wasn't helpful at all with information about shipping. All they do is refer to a tracking code (2x) of a shipment that was never sent. They don't bother helping customers, the money is already in!
The product is not great. All software provided is Beta software and does not function properly.
They have tried to push their sales during the holidays with discounts that were not discounts. They increased their price before discount was calculated (which is fraud)
Also, their website notes they have EU distribution, which is not true. The product is shipped from Hong Kong, which means the buyer has to pay an additional customs fee ($ 43 in my case) for delivery, which makes this camera a very expensive item for the quality delivered.
- Packaging is an 'Apple-like' imitation, the product is not even close to any imitation,
- The webcam mount delivered is of poor quality, it will not hold it's position,
- The USB-C connection in the camera is fragile and is likely to break down after a few plug-in/-out movements,
- Image quality is poor for a 4K cam (Logitech C920HD is of much better/sharper quality, despite being just Full HD),
- Software is poor and buggy (in Beta-versions only for both OS X and Windows, shame on GetLimuna).
- The software provided (again, all Beta versions) can only be used after registering. Be advised, please create a fake account to get it to work. (I did, I don't trust these Chinese practices at all)
All together this is definitely not worth it's price.
I've been reading multiple reviews and considering my experience with this company/product, I'd expect all positive reviews to be fake reviews.
I have notified Trustpilot about that.

Waste of time and money
Waste of time and money. This product is NOT ready for release yet. The software is terrible. The parts are cheap (no matter how hard you try the camera won't tighten to the clip which makes it lean slightly). Wanted to use this for YouTube videos but when I open screen flow and select the camera and then hit record it does nothing. Lol, it's even messing up my recording software. I've never run into that with any other webcam. DO NOT BUY THIS. Period. I hope I can get a refund. If not I'll definitely be disputing the charges with my bank. Shame on you guys for releasing something that is NO WHERE near ready.

This camera has several strengths and a few unfortunate weaknesses
Context: I'm a licensed psychologist coaching cofounders to better navigate conflict, strengthen decision-making, and enhance alignment. Between my therapeutic and coaching clients, I have about 25 video sessions per week (zoom), all with a ring light in an office setting with nearby windows using a laptop.
Pros: Easy setup. Aesthetically pleasing. Has high-end capacity for clear video calls. Works well for me in low light / evening conditions. Obvious upgrade from the mac's camera.
Cons:
1. Auto exposure settings leads to constant and extreme over-exposure. This issue forces me to manually slide the exposure between calls based on time of day and ambient light conditions. Sometimes, I have to adjust multiple times even with a call or my video will become far too dark or far too light. This inconvenience alone made me regret this purchase.
2. Color / hue challenges as well, though not as significant of an issue as the difficulties with exposure iMO.
3. Lack of information to refine the picture settings. I love the wide range of settings to toggle and improve the picture, but am frustrated there's not a more detailed guide or walk through to perfect my setup. I feel like I am using this to about 75-80% of its capacity.
Overall, I want to like this camera and preferred this to existing options and other startups. I like its aesthetic and ease of setup, but feel frustrated with the auto adjustment settings, especially exposure, which makes this setup far more tedious and time intensive to use on a daily basis. Looking back, I would have picked an established camera instead.
Not off to a good start at all
Not off to a good start at all. Support is all on Taiwan time which is the middle of the night here. North American support is coming in a couple of months. In the meantime I am dead in the water and no help available.
