Been with CHIP for a few years and found the App very easy to use. Had to close the account as needed the funds and needed a final interest statement for tax. Forgot to download before I closed.
Emailed them an hour ago to get the statement and got a virual immediate reply with everything I needed. Amazing service. Thank you CHIP especially Usamah for fantastic service!

I asked about a Chip bank transfer from the Leeds Building Society to my Trip ISA. The answer related to the Yorkshire bank. I asked again, told them it was the Leeds BS and got absolutely no answer. My ISA will now, unfortunately, be transferred to another bank. A phone call would have answered this immediately.
After this review I had a reply from Chip and I am happy to say they gave me better information. I have yet to try, but well done to Chip for apologising and restoring my faith in them!

tried to transfer my Cash ISA from Chip to another provider. The transfer failed because of a simple address mismatch something that could have been easily communicated and fixed.
Instead of notifying me, Chip kept me in the dark. When I raised a complaint about this lack of communication, Julie from Chip refused to take any accountability and simply fobbed me off to the Financial Ombudsman Service and my new provider.
This caused unnecessary delay, stress, and inconvenience completely avoidable if Chip had informed me promptly. Their processes and customer care are seriously lacking. I would caution anyone considering Chip to be aware of their poor communication.

Love Chip!! I was a fist time investor and Chip made it so easy and seamless. The customer service team are so nice and really helpful, and everything works great with my savings and investments, so sleek. Wouldn’t change a thing :))

The staff were good. However, they work within company guidelines. Polices are, as usual, far more complicated than necessary. I am still no wiser as to why my interest payments were shown as incorrect. The web site is unhelpful. There is no advice given regarding the best account. Everything encourages you to use the site. Human intervention is discouraged.

I have a tricky situation. I live with 2 different names, one being my maiden name and one being my ex married name. My current account was opened before I got divorced but all my legal documents to verify myself are in my maiden name - changed after my divorce. This made opening my new account tricky. The customer service team were helpful and speedy with processing all my info once I supplied everything needed, and they were always polite.

I always find that Chip is quick to respond to queries. I requested account statements showing my account number (as the statements in the app didn’t show this) and Chip provided them to me the same day.

Shel was so helpful! I used chat to ask a question about withdrawal penalties, and Shel answered super clearly but also perfectly succintly. No need to go back and forth with more questions (which sometimes happens even with the most helpful customer service) - she covered all bases first time, even things I hadn't asked.

Chip has been helpful & supportive. They prevented a criminal trying to access my account after O2 ported my mobile number to a scammer!
They suspected fraud straight away & protected me from potential loss.
I am so thankful to them & can’t recommend them enough if you are considering an ISA or other investment soon. It’s an easy to navigate on line App, that has many layers of security.
